"For being an ass" Sayuri replied coolly and strummed a few strings on her guitar again. "I wasn’t pretending, everything was fine and I honestly do not believe I don’t believe that I have anything to apologise for. I did you a favour by telling your girlfriend, ex whatever, something that you should have already talked to her about” She sighed and then looked at Leo. “The only thing I may want to say sorry for is wishing that you were dead that one time.”
"..." Leo opened his mouth, but held his tongue. Why did she always had to be difficult? Though, Leo wasn't entirely mad at Sayuri for telling Angelique about their little affair before her and him got back together. He was at first, though because of Sayuri's doing, he certainly did end up getting one very long and steamy night with the French girl. "And I'm sorry if I came off as a asshole with you sometimes. I didn't--never--meant to." He sighed, hating that he was thinking about Angelique again. He needed to stop yet a part of him really didn't want to.
Hearts And Minds | Leo & Angelique
Her heart was thumped madly inside of her chest as Angelique stared out of the window. Watching people go about their own lives as they passed by the ice cream parlor. She wasn’t pondering over anything, but more or else emptying her head from the pessimistic thoughts now that Leo had agreed to get the ice cream they came for. Ground rules. When she heard that, she turned her head and gazed with curiosity in her eyes. The girl watched amusingly as the young male’s nervousness was displayed through his body language, her eyes crinkling with playful amusement though she didn’t comment about it. As soon as Leo commented about the things she was no longer able to do around him, Angelique chuckled brightly. She covered her mouth with her hand, not to laugh further when as she watched him mimic her previous action. “How does this sound?” She cleared her throat before letting out the most annoying laugh she could muster. To her ears it sounded cringe-inducingly awful.
"Or maybe this one?" Angelique proceeded to trying on a evil laughter before breaking out in her normal laughter. Gaining control over her burst of happy giggles, she ran her hand through her hair to keep them away from her face. "Okay, but you’ve to stop biting your lower lip so often. That drives me crazy." She sent him an impish wink and a lively beam. It really did even though he was probably unaware of how he looked when he usually did it. There were so many things, like the look he sometimes gave her when he couldn’t keep control over his hands and just had to touch her or when he was simply staring at her. "And also you aren’t allowed to compliment me with those big doe eyes of yours, I just can’t take it." Angelique chuckled, leaning forward on her seat and shook her hand in gesture to what she was saying.
He smiled more and more as Angelique tried to conquer up several annoying laughs, however he couldn’t bring himself to find any of her laughs to be annoying. They all just pulled at his heartstrings as her laughter always did, especially when she brushes back her hair afterwards. All the little things about Angelique made him crazy for her. “Sorry, Angelique. Still incredibly adorable.” He pressed his cheek to his hand, leaning his elbow on the table, staring at the girl in a dreamy gaze with his big doe eyes. He chewed on the bottom of his lip when she began to mention the things that she didn’t want him to do around her. Too bad that he was doing them right now, but it was going to be difficult for him to do. When it came to habits, they were often hard for Leo to break like most people.
“Oh,” He smirked, nervously and toothy. “That really does suck because I just about to ask you if you are a parking ticket, 'cause you've got fine written all over you.” Leo licked his lower lip before his lips displayed a devious grin on his face. He shouldn’t be saying such things to her. But he couldn’t help himself. He just loved complimenting the drop dead gorgeous brunette, throwing cheesy pickup lines at her from left to right. “Actually, you may be asked to leave soon because seriously you're making all the other women in here look bad.” He slipped out a chuckle. A actual, happy chuckle. “But no, in all seriousness, how does it feel like to be the most beautiful girl in this room? As usual, I mean.”
Hearts And Minds | Leo & Angelique
"Right, I’ll be here for you as your friend." She spoke in a murmur. It was difficult to hide away the slight disappointment that was creeping on her, but she pushed it all aside. If a friend is what he needed right now then that’s exactly what she was going to try to be. This seemed to be the only option available right now if she wanted to be there for him and she just had to take the opportunity. All she had to do was to keep her heart on lockdown whenever she was around him. How hard was that going to be? Angelique looked down at their hands, several emotions going through her. Butterflies were erupting in her stomach by the tingles his touch sent through her body. Did his heart beat as madly as hers right now? Did he think about to their happier moments and wonder how they ended up like this? Her dark brown eyes flickering away from their hands to his face, biting down on her lower lip. In the end, she flashed him a gentle smile and shoved away the fluttering feeling. The last thing she wanted was to make it any more harder for both of them so she didn’t push the topic any further.
"Friends." Angelique nodded her head, gaze averted. "Take your time to sort your head and if you want to talk or anything, you’ve me." She added in after though, lacing her fingers with his and her thumb kneading gentle circles into his skin. Seconds later when she became aware of what she was doing, she instantly stopped and pulled her hand away. Cue in the nervous tittering laugh and avoiding eye contact. Taking a deep breath, Angelique looked at him with flushed cheeks, tucking in a strand lock behind her ear. Honestly she did not know how she was going to do this neither how long she could be just his friend, but she wanted to give it a try. "So do you perhaps want to get that ice cream now or?" She asked with hesitation in her voice because even though the young female wanted to stay a bit longer in his presence, she wouldn’t stop him if he needed to go. Her finger once again twisting her ring, her eyes not lingering on his face.
“I honestly want more than to just have you.” Leo muttered to himself as he glanced over to the window, then back to the brunette’s eyes. The fingers of his free fidgeted when he held his gaze on her. He tried to ignore how good it felt holding Angelique’s hand, feeling her thumb pressing against his skin. He tried to ignore the fact that his heart practically dropped when Angelique pulled her hand away. He tried to ignore how cute she looked as she tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear. That is all he needed to do but each time he tried ignore the beautiful brown-haired girl in front of him, every attempt becomes a failure. She says that he has her, though not in the manner he wishes he could have her. Hopefully one day, they’d just get back together and have nothing to worry about. Though until then they had to be friends.
“Yeah, we can get that ice cream now.” He nodded his head, running his tongue over his bottom lip before somewhat grimacing quietly to himself. Angelique seemed upset by the position they are both in right now but he wished that he could find some way to cheer her up. “As well as going over some ground rules,” Leo stated out of the blue. “Since, well, it’s going to be kind of awkward with us just being friends and all.” He gestured his hands all over the place, smiling nervously. He swallowed hard before moving his lips again. “Like for instance, ah, your laugh. You gotta figure out a more annoying laugh. Because you know you got one incredibly adorable laugh.” He teased, flashing a crooked grin. “A-And that thing you always do with your hair.” He pretended as if he was pushing a lock of hair behind his ear. “That might need to stop to because that, that’s killing me.” Leo laughed.
"Not for you" Sayuri grumbled and twirled the edges of her short bobbed hair around her finger. She scoffed and looked up at him incredulously "I’m pretty sure I’ve already done that, you’re that one that should be apologizing to me.”
"Uh huh," said Leo, the edge of lips twitching. His eyes widen and his mouth hung open when she told him that he needed to apologize to her. "For what?!" He threw his hands up in the air. "I didn't do anything wrong and you never did said you were sorry. You just ignored the fact you owed me one and pretended everything was just fine."
Hearts And Minds | Leo & Angelique
Selfless? Usually she could be that, but Angelique felt like the most selfish person when it came to Leo. It was kind of ridiculously, but she wasn’t quite fond of sharing him. It was also selfish of her to ask to be just friends when they clearly shared a much deeper connection than that. But at the same time, she couldn’t give up on what they had with each other so easily. She was out of solutions and the only thing that seemed even uplifting was her suggestion. Was she asking for too much when she only wished to have him back into her life in some way. The whole friendship thing between them seemed impossible and downright torturous of not being able to do what her hands desires to do neither letting her heart speak the emotions she had for Leo. He is the love of her life and the thought of living a life without him at this moment seemed far-fetched and painful. Exactly like she had felt for a while now.
Angelique’s face grew warm under the intense gaze of Leo, unknowingly holding her breath as he inched closer and closer towards her. Her eyes fluttering shut when his soft lips touched her deep rosy stained cheek. His touches was a weakness of hers. For a moment there she had thought he was going to kiss her. But of course Leo was more stubborn than that and so she tried to hide away her disappointment behind a smile. What else could she could? She herself had suggested friendship. At least he still felt the same way. A spark of hope ignited inside of her. However, the small smile instantly melted away from her face at his last words. Anger was the most palpable emotion she felt when he spoke lowly of himself and underestimated himself. How could she deserve better when what she wanted was right in front of her. The young female couldn’t fathom why he thought like that. Angelique breathed through her nose and shook her head at the male. ”I chose you, don’t you get that? I don’t want better or anyone else for that matter. I want you, Leo.” Her voice softening towards the ending as she kept on looking at him.
"Everyone makes mistakes and I want you to know that I understand. You can trust me and no matter what it is, we’ll go through together. I’ll always be here for you and you can tell me anything, okay." She took in a deep breath, her eyes burning a steady gaze towards his brown eyes. Despite being a curious being, Angelique was never one to pry on people’s personal business which was why she never second-guessed that he had been lying. Even if she knew that Leo had his secrets, but she herself had it. Whatever it was, she would be there for him if he would let her in this time.
Leo’s lips formed into a delighted smile as the more Angelique spoke. He looked at the girl across the table with a dreamy expression written all over his face, however caught himself when he realized what he was doing. “As a friend? Right?” He asked, ignoring the growing blush on his cheeks. Leo shut his brown eyes tight, sighing away the conflicted feelings within him. He didn’t want to keep talking about the unbreakable bond they knew they had. He had made up his mind and wanted to stick with the choice he made. And knowing the effect Angelique has on him, he was aware that he might end up changing his mind sooner or later. He opened his eyes while his heart thundered away in his chest. He wanted to be back into Angelique’s arms more than anything, but he just wasn’t ready. “You’ll be here for me as my friend? Isn’t that what you wanted to come talk to me about?” His shoulders hunched themselves as his hand reached over for Angelique’s on the table. He couldn’t stop wanting to touch her; it was a horrible habit that was very difficult for him to quit. A part of him wants nothing more than to just shut up, forget about his problems, and kiss Angelique like no tomorrow. Feel her soft lips onto his once more, again and again and again.
“Because I…I can’t be with you right now as your boyfriend, Angelique. Not while I have…have to still figure things out, okay?” He chewed on his lower lip. “All I can do for you to the least is try being just friends with you.” He was fully aware that none of these upcoming events that might occur between Angelique and him would not be pleasing nor comforting but what else could he do? Just get back with her and keep on hiding things from her? It wouldn’t feel right, especially with the dangers that’d come with those secrets. Maybe it would be best if they restart their relationship as them being simply friends. What’s the worst that could happen with just them being friends? Leo cleared his throat before opening his mouth again. “So friends?” He gave her hand a small squeeze, which brought back happy memories of them as a couple. Something he was going to miss.
Hearts And Minds | Leo & Angelique
Angelique let out a buoyant chuckle at Leo’s comment. If only he knew that he was the reason to why she was suddenly taking easy on how much sugar that she was devouring lately. “Hey now, you should be happy that I’m going for something simple. I remember at one point you were trying to keep my away from it.” She replied, her eyes briefly flicking from his eyes to his mouth Something simple was definitely the option other ways she was going to get distracted by the ice cream when she was there for something more important. On top of that she had consumed a whole deal of sugar these days to keep her distracted from thinking too much about Leo and wallowing in misery. It had come to a point where she was forbidden to eat anything sweet except if it was in moderate amount which was why she had fallen back to dancing until her feet was sore. Her weeks were definitely a whole new experience to the brunette.
How things were for her? Honestly these past weeks seemed surreal. Almost as if it was a dream, but she knew better than that. The truth was probably written all over her face by the small frown that had taken over her features. Neither was she very good at lying as most people saw right through it. They both knew the truth that it wasn’t no use to lie to his face when she was having a heartache as well as he. “The truth?” She started, trying to smile halfheartedly. ”Not very good…but I’m managing.” All she wanted to do was to reach out for him and just spill her heart out. ”Truth is, I miss you, Leo. These weeks have been awful and its killing me because there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t, at some point think about you. Which was why I needed to talk to you.” Frustratingly, her fingers ran through her hair before continuing. “I know that things are complicated right now and for some reason you don’t want us to be together. So if we can’t be together, I at least want us to be friends. Is that selfish of me?” Surprised of herself, Angelique heaved a deep breath, shielding her face with her hands. This wasn’t exactly how she wanted to tell him, but she couldn’t take it back as she awaited his reaction.
“True. Actually, I’m still thinking of checking you into a sugar rehab.” Leo joked, flashing a cheeky grin. Though, the grin quickly died out when Angelique told him straight up that she missed him. “Oh,” He breathed as he continued to listen to what she wanted to say. His brown eyes narrowed down at the table. Friends. She wanted them to be friends because she couldn’t bear the distance between the two of them. He could do that, give her what she wants but, really, them being just friends seemed like an impossible standpoint. How can two people who are obviously crazy for each other ignore what they had and just attempt to be simply friends? He doubted that this was going to end well. But, on the other hand, he doesn’t want Angelique to cry any more tears over him. He wasn’t worth it. “Angelique, you ridiculously selfless babe.” Leo said softly, getting out of his seat and leaning over the table. He pulled her hands away from her face so she would stop trying to hide herself.
His gaze on the girl’s face prolonged longer than he expected, marveling at the familiar details of her outstanding features up close. Reminding himself to breath, he inclined his lips close to her cheek, pressing a sweet kiss on her brown skin. He slid back into his chair, his own face flushed with the color red by his sudden action. He never could control himself around Angelique. “W-We can be friends, if that’s what y-you want.” He stuttered. “I-I mean, I don’t mind t-that—if we—” He nosily exhaled the air from his lungs as he looked at the table again, then back to Angelique. He let himself get lost into those beautiful warm brown eyes of hers for a minute or two before he spoke again. “I missed you too. A lot. I would like for us to be friends, but just know that why I broke up with you wasn’t because I don’t love you anymore. I will always love you. But it’s just that…just that there are a lot of things about myself I’ve been hiding from you and I’m a fucking coward for lying to you all this time about it.” He sucked the air through his teeth and clutched his hands into a pair of fists. “You don’t deserved to be lied to by someone like me. You deserve better, Angelique.”
Sayuri’s eyes glanced over to him and she raised her brows as if she was about to speak but decided against her words and let her brows rest lowly again “Right, ex, whatever” she said lightly. “Well you’re right about that anyway, I don’t share” she huffed and strummed the guitar again. She felt a sliver of light peek through her cold heart after his following statement but she didn’t let that reflect on her face, stiil looking down at the guitar and not at him “Oh? Is this the start of an apology?”
“You don’t even share yourself, sweetheart?” Leo teased, feeling a smirk showing up on his face. “And last time I checked, you owe me an apology. So I’m waiting.”
Hearts And Minds | Leo & Angelique
The smile on Angelique’s face widened, crinkling her eyes at the mere sight of Leo. It was hard to keep control of it as it happened subconsciously, the smile once again coming back as easily as it had disappeared weeks ago. It was not difficult to notice his nervousness at this point as she had learned the signs and all she wanted was too ease away his nerves along with hers. She was twisting the ring on her finger out of habit at the same time as she nodded her head at his words. There were several words on the tip of her tongue that she wanted to utter out. Tell him that she misses everything about him. As each day goes by, it gets worse to the point that she had given up on staying away. At the very beginning, she was lost and confused towards Leo’s quick decision of breaking up with her, but over the time she had come to the terms that there were things she didn’t know about him. Secrets that had to be uncovered between them if they wanted to get back together.
Angelique was brought out of her thoughts at his words. Her dark brown eyes for the first time taking in his appearance, momentarily stopping at his shirt as it tugged another smile out of her before they rested on his face. His eyes clearly avoiding to look her straight in the eyes, dimming her smile for a short while. She quietly followed before abruptly stopping when Leo raced ahead of her to get the door. “Why thank you kind sir.” She responded, giggling full-heartedly as she entered the parlor. His sweet gesture leaving a jaunty beam on her face. His chivalrous ways always ending up amazing her in a world where chivalry was supposed to be dead. Taking in the room, Angelique was hit by the sweet aroma that surrounded the parlor before slowly heading over to an available table in the corner beside a window. “What do you want to get?” Her eyes looked through the menu placed on the table between them then looking up towards Leo with warm eyes. ”I think I’m going to get a simple chocolate with nuts ice cream cone.”
His smile grew larger when Angelique giggled. His heart swelled with happiness from just hearing it. He missed hearing that sound leaving her lips. He missed everything about Angelique. They sat at an empty table and Leo’s lingering nervousness began to increase as he looked down at the menu. The last time they were at an ice cream parlor, it was their first date and they were making plans for the summer. Now they were there as a what? Friends? Strangers? Whatever they were now, it really felt awkward. “Actually I might get that too,” said Leo. “Though I’m surprised you, a sugar addict, would go for something simple.” His hand ran through his hair again. Should he cut to the chase and ask her what did she wanted to talk about with him or simply enjoy that they are trying to be okay with each other? Pressed against his thighs, his hands twitched uncontrollably. Leo strained to not keep eye contact with the brunette, however her warm brown eyes pulled him back in each time he did. All he could think about is leaning in close to her, kissing her, roaming his hands over that gorgeous body of hers, slipping under her skirt...
He shook his head at himself. Now is definitely not the time for dirty thoughts… “So, how has things been with you?” He asked instead with a slight beam on his face, though already knew the answer to that question. Sienna explained to him earlier that she was beyond heartbroken about him ending their relationship. Yet he didn’t know if he should’ve been glad that their hearts broke even since he broke her heart to begin with. “Good things, I hope.” He stretched his smile a bit but bit down on the inside of his cheek because the words he desperately wanted to utter right now were “Because everything with me kind of sucks right now because I miss you and really need you right now.”. But he didn’t. He couldn’t.
Hearts And Minds | Leo & Angelique
By each second that passed by as she was nearly close to her destination, it came as a surprise that her nerves were gradually fading away. Of course she wasn’t sure how she was going to react when she first saw him and although she had scripted what she was going to say, she would probably forget. Angelique felt that it was going to be a bit awkward to start with, but it was Leo. Hopefully the awkwardness between them wouldn’t last for too long. All she knew at that moment was that it was going to be a bit painfully weird to see someone she used to be so close to without being able to neither hug or kiss him hello. It was a natural instinct she had developed, but that had to change for now. She ruffled up her hair in frustration as she went from calm to dreading meeting him. Calming down her heart by taking slow deep breaths, she quickly fixed her hair back when she noticed that the taxi had came to an halt. The driver seemed to have been talking all this time while she was yet again lost into her world. Angelique scrambled out of the car, muttering apologies and giving the man his money.
Turning around to face the ice cream parlor, her eyes almost bugged out. The brunette was having a mini panicked moment when she came to the terms that her ex, the guy she loved unconditionally was only a few feet away from her for the first time in weeks. Her heart started pounding along with her head spinning. “What do I do, what do I do?!” She was practically shouting inside of her head before closing her eyes. She inhaled and exhaled softly before starting to approach the sandy brown haired young male. Angelique managed to hear his last word, her brow raising at his cussing. “Hey, something wrong?” She uttered out softly and cleared her throat to get his attention, surprised at her controlled voice when seconds ago she was in a freak-out mode. All of her previous thoughts was getting pushed away as she prepared herself to become calm and collected once again. As long as she didn’t try to make this any more awkward than it needed to be, things would go into the right direction. Other ways that was never going to make anything better. “Do you want to get inside?” Angelique suggested with a gentle smile, her voice letting out the small excitement she always felt when she was about to eat ice cream.
An enchanting female voice with a French accent layered in it startled Leo a bit, bringing his attention on the owner of the voice. He swallowed hard at the sight of his ex, who happened to look beautiful as she always did. His fingers began to shudder for a quick moment as he tried to smile with enthusiasm. “Uh, nothing. It’s n-nothing, really.” He stammered out. Besides, how beyond gorgeous you look today. Leo held back his tongue from uttering any flattering comments to Angelique. It was a tough habit for him to break whenever he was around her. The words would just pop right out of his mouth and never want to stop from pouring out from the depths of the young man’s smitten heart. And Leo really wanted to say something about how great she looked. If they were still together in this very moment, his arms would instantly be wrapped around Angelique’s waist and his lips would latch onto her neck like no tomorrow. But they weren’t. So he was just stuck there, feeling so nervous and jumpy, thinking about what his heart desired so much right now.
His eyes glanced down at the ground as she smiled. Leo cursed his heart for beating even faster when he caught a glimpse of that stunning curve on the brunette’s face. It was as if Cupid’s arrow just shot him through the heart, each and every time he saw Angelique’s smile. He ran a hand through his hair before answering her question, “Yeah, sure. Let’s do that.” His mouth twitched, but his eyes still avoid looking at her face. Leo could feel his face heat up from uneasiness, turning a pinkish color. He knew very well that this would be kind of awkward for the both of them since when was the last time they actually sat down and talk to each other? Days? Weeks? It felt forever for Leo and he truly did miss talking to Angelique. Just being around her would’ve made his day to be honest. He walked over to get the door for her before entering the ice cream parlor. “After you, Milady.” He bowed as he held the door, gracing a charming boyish grin on his face.
Hearts And Minds | Leo & Angelique
Giving her phone one more glance, rereading the texts she exchanged with her former boyfriend, a small smile manifested across her cheeks. The pain that always clenched in her heart was slightly lulled down after their talk. It was crazy to think that they hadn’t exchanged any single word after the breakup with everything they’ve been through and said to each other before that. It wasn’t certainly easy for her, her heart clenching in pain whenever she saw him or her eyes welling with tears of the thought of Leo. Throwing the phone on her bed, Angelique sighed and walked over to her closet. Placing her hands on her hips, she started to take in the display of her clothing. Starting to rifle through her closet she looked for something suitable and comfortable to wear. Having tried on several pieces before settling on a cute outfit that consisted of a black crop top, a white skirt and finishing off with a comfy burgundy knit cardigan.
Angelique whistled a tune while studying her reflection. She sprayed perfume on her neck and wrists before putting it back on her desk. Was she putting too much effort into her appearance? Not really, she was being herself even if she wanted to look good. Maybe, there was this tiniest notion that she wanted to impress him which was ridiculous after what she was going to talk to him about. Heaving a sigh, the brunette grabbed her small shoulder bag and slipped on black combat boots. Once she was ready, she strolled out of her room and into the hallways of the girl’s dorm rooms. As usual, the place was pulsing with energetic conversations, some of the rooms blasting with music. She greeted people with either a smile or waved while hurrying off, not wanting to keep Leo waiting if he was already there.
While walking, Angelique’s mind swirled with different thoughts. Coming to the realization that she was about to face Leo and actually spend some time with him after their break up. During the past weeks, she had settled for sneaking glances at him in between classes and around the school as both of them had stayed away from each other as hard as it was. Not wanting to dwell over the negative things, she shook her head until she came back to her senses and finally reached the parking lot. Seeing the cab she had ordered, she got inside and told the driver the directions. Buckling up, she leaned back into the seat and tried to calm down her nerves as the cab started to drive into town.
“So are you going to get back together with her or not?” Marie asked Leo before digging a hand into the bag of Sour Cream and Onion chips. After that little incident that occurred with her and those soldiers, she thought it would be best if they hid out in the hotel room she was currently staying at. Leo, with uncertain written all over his face, lifted his head up from his palms and looked at his sister. His sister who was just sitting with him on the floor as if they have just seen each other yesterday or something. He couldn’t believe how much was going on this day so far. First he just so happened to come across the person who might be some actual help to unlock his past, then Angelique texting him out of the blue to meet up for some ice cream to talk about something. “It depends. When are you going to tell me what I want to hear?” He raised a brow at the messy-haired brunette. She responded with a scoff, popping a chip into her mouth. “Soon.” She spoke with her mouth full.
“Then you just answered your own question.” He shrugged, getting up on his feet, putting his phone in his jean pocket. “Bonehead.” Marie said. Then she busted out laughing. He could see a small amount of chewed up food on her tongue. “God, you’re such a bonehead. But seriously, go make up with her.” Leo shook his head and slipped on his red hoodie, leaving it unzipped to show off his Spiderman t-shirt. “I’ll think about it. I’ll think about it.” He said. Leo left the hotel with his head spinning. It probably started spinning the moment he got that text from Angelique. He was surprised to hear from her since their breakup. Though he figured it might have to do with Sienna’s meddling between Angelique and him. He sighed as he recalled the conversation he had earlier that day with the furious blonde. His heart clenched in his chest. He needed to think about getting back together with Angelique but he refused to. He refused to be with her if he kept on avoiding to tell her the truth. So as he finally made it to the ice cream parlor, fixing up his hair, Leo’s heartbeat quickened when he finally realized that he was going to have to meet with Angelique face-to-face. “Fuck.”

Angelique: Actually, that’s perfect.
Angelique: Does the ice cream parlor sounds okay?
Leo: That sounds great.
Leo: I'll see you there in about an hour?
Text ✉ Leo
Angelique: So um, I was thinking, maybe we could meet up later today or something?
Angelique: I kind of wanted to talk to you about something.
Leo: Uh sure. Yes, we can meet up and talk.
Leo: I'm in town right now. Do you want to meet back at the school or?
Text ✉ Leo
Angelique [UNSENT]: I hate that we can’t speak like we used to.
Angelique [UNSENT]: I miss you.
Angelique: Hey…oh, are you busy or do you’ve some time to spare?
Leo [UNSENT]: I always have time for you, Angel.
Leo: No. I'm not busy. What's up?
Marie: "So who is this 'Angelique' girl, by the way? She kept on popping up in your head when I was trying to send you that message." Leo: "It's...It's complicated."
