MaoMao’s small smile when she thinks how Jinshi’s “childish tendencies” come out more around her and that’s part of his true personality, her noticing his nervous tic and how he’s trying to hide it, tell me she’s paying more attention to him without telling me she’s paying more attention to him ☺️

You know what Apothecary Diaries understands best? The tension. Jinshi and MaoMao is a slow burn of all slow burns. Like I know it’s coming, I see the denial, the yearning, the star-crossed tragedy and I want it all while at the same time I’m screaming for them to just be together already. It’s perfect and I love every single second. 💜💚

That his beautiful works which are about the power of friendship and fighting against darkness, the preservation of light and goodness, are a playground where people run around bullying one another.

It's not ever justified or cute. Just stop.

You can absolutely dislike opinions, head canons, theories - you should never hate on the people behind them.

Let's be a little more mindful about the kind of fandom we are curating on here - will people want to be a part of it? Will they feel welcome and included?

saw an absolutely hilarious animal crossing theory that i now 100% accept and it’s that in the animal crossing world, humans are going extinct, and so all the animals have locked you in an elaborate zoo enclosure and are trying to give you enrichment. and that’s why they give you infinite pointless tasks, hide money in trees and rocks, invented debt that doesnt matter etc. it’s why they always act so happy to see you even after you raze the entire island, relocate their houses twice, and always act so pleased about your choices no matter what. it’s all to keep their little endangered human healthy and enriched. and thinking of it this way has genuinely improved my experience of the game

So if yall didn’t know, in The Hobbit book, Thranduil had the Dwarves locked up for approximately weeks, and Bilbo was just invisible and wandering in the palace the entire time, vibing miserably.

My headcanon, therefore, is that the Mirkwood Elves now have a local legend about a ghost haunting Thranduil’s palace, never seen but generally thought to be harmless. Thranduil scoffs at the idea, but has been seen glancing around at the dark corners of rooms. Legolas fully believes in it and is known to say hello out loud when he enters an empty room, in case the ghost is nearby.

It’s not until Legolas joins the Fellowship that he figures out that the supposed ghost was actually an invisible Bilbo the whole time. He never tells Thranduil, because he thinks it’s funny to see his regal father unnerved by the idea of a ghost.
