'' Don't bother giving an answer to people who spread hate or debating with them, it won't change their minds ''
Never start a debate to change someone's opinion on something, but rather than that, do it so you can give a tiers person another vision of things so that they can use it to forge their own opinion on it.
Let people know more so they can realize that there isn't only one opinion to have, one vision, one point of view, one way of thought, but many. Make them wonder what made both people have those different opinions. Which one will they chose? Will they chose another one? Will they not care and just leave that single opinion (let's say opinion A) - assuming no one responded to it by giving another opinion (let's say opinion B) - until one day it comes up in a conversation and the people discussing it are sharing a common opinion : opinion A.
Will the person's mind just admit that that was normal and go on with their lives? If it doesn't concern them, yes.
Will they instinctively feel that something is wrong with it because it had taken more importance than a single comment? If the person has an increased ability to take a step back from everything and think it through, possibly.
Will they shut them out and keep not having an opinion because it doesn't concern them? Probably.
There are a lot of possible outcomes to everything, and you never know which one it will be. Your mind isn't the same as everyone else's, people don't get interested by the same things, influenced by the same things, shocked, disgusted, taken back, surprised by the same things.
If it takes you a few minutes of your day to save someone some time of research, throwing themselves in the development of hate towards someone or something, why not do it?
Spread love, spread kindness, because hate is always there, and there has to be an equilibrium to all things.
