Not to brand shill but smooth-on is the good shit! They have a lot of different products and I've used them before for VFX prosthetics, just make sure you go for the platinum cure stuff for body safety. I have sensitive skin and there was no irritation even after wearing it in direct contact with my skin for like 12h at a time two days in a row, so if that's not body safe I don't know what is. They also make molding/casting supplies that are compatible with their products :) go forth and make that monster dick or whatever

I can make my own casting/mold stuff, I do CAD+3D printing, i'm trying to make something very specific that's an external toy but requires a bunch of very specific qualities to fit the requirements. But what's the point of having all these maker skills if I can't make a sex toy?! =P

well alrighty then! here's a link to their platinum cure stuff. I only have experience working with Skin-Tite but they offer a huge array of different products with different properties.

High strength, flexible rubber compounds that exhibit extremely low shrinkage and a long library life.

Sounds like you have a solid plan, the only thing I would advise is if you use a 3D printed mold be aware it will transfer even the most minute fine details (i.e. printing layers) to the cast unless you smooth it down beforehand, so definitely make sure you take that into account in the interests of keeping the toy hygienic and easy to clean :)

oh also!! make sure your mold and mixing cup are VERY CLEAN AND FULLY DRY and only contain compatible mold release agents (do small tests first), and that your silicone is mixed really really well before you cast it. Platinum-cure is a little picky and it's easy to mess up the cure with oils/contaminants or incomplete mixing - it will turn out sticky and nasty if that happens and you will have to clean out the mold and re-cast it

So, amusingly I text my maker/best friend this and their reply was "Oh yeah, I'm currently swapping to using smooth-on, next time I do a bulk buy we'll test it early next year" @olive-pup does more casting than me, you can actually see some glow in the dark paws they printed recently. Far more experience than me, but would it be okay if they have enough questions to ask? They've had some failed batches recently and you sound like you have some experience.

yeah, I used a silicon chastity cage with multiple 'loop' sizes to have one fastened correctly and one around the head of the toy, then a bit of duct tape to 'fasten' it to the silicon cage of the toy, and a restraint around both cage and toy to give it a more 'connected' vibration. Then a little tape over restraint and vibrator to make sure it wouldn't slip. It worked very well for the most part, but it was too fragile. As long as I didn't touch it, it was fine, but if i started being more forceful it would come undone and i'd have to fix it. Still managed to force 40+ orgasms, but I feel like with the right toy I could push insane numbers to her... detriment? enjoyment? Idk, to my own amusement, I guess.
