I think it depends on if they recognize the signs / warnings of temperature fluctuations! One of the things I’ve researched with his powers is the process of spontaneous combustion which is how his flames manifest. The presence of them gaining as might heat as they do throughout the game leads me to that 400 degrees Fahrenheit on fuego baseline as that’s the temperature that usually causes spontaneous combustion in chemical reactions
