This is possibly the coolest video I’ve ever taken.
wow I love this!!
This is so good for my anxiety
I’ve reblogged this so many times
dear caretakers of children: stop telling kids “I don’t care who started it!”. you’re teaching children to ignore unequal power balances. that leads to legitimate belief in things like reverse racism, misandry, heterophobia, etc. you’re teaching children that it’s wrong to retaliate when they are wronged. “who started it” is very, very relevant.
It can also teach them that defending themselves is wrong and set them up for abuse later in life.
It always matters who started it. One person is defending themselves, and one person instigated it. When you tell them you “don’t care who started it” you’ve taught one of them that if they defend themselves they will be punished for doing so. You’ve taught the other one that they can do whatever they wish to others, no one will punish only them for it, their victim will be seen as equally accountable for what happened.
Is that really a lesson you want your kids to absorb?

“it’s been a year,”
to the weekday, rather than to the date. i trembled in this interjection to no one’s conversation but the one with myself. sleepless on this day in years’ last, finished. or so i believed it to be.
how outstretched is moment’s madness? is this fabric elastic? how could this day be forgotten, yet so here now?
packed, woven. unraveling.
little threads.
I’m sure you won’t remember what you liked about me

Mifegymiso, an alternative to surgical abortion, can medically terminate an early pregnancy of up to 49 days.
The Nova Scotia government says it will make the abortion pill available to women at no cost.
Kelly Regan, the minister responsible for the status of women, said Friday the province was “supporting more choice for women” by making Mifegymiso available by prescription starting in November.
The drug combination can medically terminate an early pregnancy of up to 49 days.
“This is important for me because I believe and this government believes in the reproductive rights of women,” said Regan.
Women with a valid health card and prescription will be able to get the $350 drug for free at pharmacies, at a cost to the province of between $175,000 and $200,000 per year.
“Women will now be able to get the entire cost of it covered,” said Regan. “If they already have a health benefits plan we would ask them to use that and then any remainder the government will cover. If they don’t have a health plan we will cover that cost.”
