New Week, New Hope
So I decided to step on the scale today (trying to only do this once a week) and to my surprise it had fallen! Not too much, but it was in the right direction. That was just the boost I needed for the day! My husband's birthday is today, so we've done some celebrating this wknd. It included too much food and plenty of adult beverages. However, we started the weekend by working out together, so that was a plus. See what I'm doing here...trying to give myself some credit. This past week I also was on a documentary kick on Netflix and watched several regarding food, the American food industry, and the like. It made me want to run right to the farmers market and avoid the local grocery store like the plague. Do I think I'll be eating 100% whole foods by the end of the week? NO. But I do think that it has increased my awareness regarding the things that I'm eating. I'm going to make a real effort to do better here. I also go back to the fertility specialist this week, so hopefully I'll be able to remain in this good mood. I like seeing them because they're pretty upfront and give us a definite plan. And I certainly appreciate a good plan.
