are people demanding to see the conditions in this place that keeps making us sick? why are the enslaved workers not having the time to use the bathroom or to rest when ill? very few people would shit in front of their coworkers given any choice at all.
Today is Hawaiâi Admission Day, also known as Statehood Day.
This âholidayâ was created to commemorate the anniversary of Hawaiâiâs admission into the United States of America.
This holiday is a sham.
The Kingdom of Hawaiâi was illegally overthrown by American businessman who had the help of U.S Minister John Stevens and the threat of American troops. They forcefully overtook our nation, and declared themselves the new provisional government of Hawaiâi.
Later our nation was made a territory, and in 1959, under the Hawaiâi Admission Act, we were admitted as a state.
There is no treaty of annexation between the Kingdom of Hawaiâi and America. We have not given up our sovereignty. Our kingdom was forcefully overthrown and stolen from us.
Hawaiâi is an illegally occupied nation under the iron fist of the United States.
Statehood supports American greed.
Statehood supports the unsustainable tourism and development of our `Äina.
Statehood supports the harmful commercialization of my people and our way of life.
Statehood has allowed the Navy to poison our water again and again.
Statehood has allowed my people to needlessly suffer and die.
Statehood has stripped us of our identities and our nation.
We have fought hard to endure under the occupation of America. We have pushed forward with a cultural rebirth, trying hard to keep our fading traditions alive, but we can only go so far without our sovereignty.
End the American Occupation. Restore Hawaiâi to Hawaiians.

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va (WDTV) - The Monongalia County Sheriffâs Office Detective Division announces the continued investigation of the theft and destruction of multiple FLOCK cameras.
Wesley Jackson, 20, of Gerrardstown, was arrested on July 16 for his alleged involvement. Jackson has been charged with damage, destruction or theft of equipment used by emergency responders and conspiracy to commit a felony, according to officials.
The Monongalia County Sheriffâs Office says they remain committed to a thorough investigation and expects additional arrests.
House Bill 2066 was passed in 2025 to make the charge âdamage, destruction or theft of equipment used by first respondersâ a felony offense and will have at least 1 year in jail.
Jackson has already posted his $15,000 PR bond.

The pilot for Ryan Cooglerâs reboot of The X-Files officially wrapped earlier this month, and Iâve been hearing fascinating things about the behind-the-scenes developments on this project.
First off, the actual series hasnât been greenlit by Hulu; only the pilot was shot, written, and directed by Coogler, with production wrapping last month. More curiously, reports indicate it was shot on 65mm film by his âSinnersâ DP, Autumn Durald Arkapaw, who won the Oscar for that film.
Now, itâs pretty rare for a TV series to be shot on 65mm film, and I would imagine the rest of the episodes might not be afforded the same luxury. The only other series shot on 65mm was the third season of Sam Levinsonâs âEuphoria,â which went back and forth between 35mm and 65mm.
Hereâs the most interesting part: the two-hour pilot might actually be turned into a feature film, or at least thatâs what Coogler has asked Disney to consider. The studio has not yet made a decision, especially since the series as a whole has not yet been greenlit. Coogler is a strong champion of the theatrical experience, and bringing this X-Files project to theatersâwhether in a limited or expanded releaseâseems to be an idea he has suggested.
