I wish people would stop being purposely obtuse when it comes to America. Everyone knows that within context the damn country is just fucking "America". When a European refers to "American tourists" they're not talking about fucking Brazilians or Candaians. Get the fuck over it already and just call it AMERICA like everyone else.

was outside in the yard just sitting quietly watching the dogs play and felt a SHARP pain in my hand and there was suddenly a yellowjacket just STINGING ME VICIOUSLY??? I've never been stung by a yellowjacket before :( I wasn't even doing anything!!! i hate when insects make their presence in my space a Problem, because I wish I could communicate to them that I am one of the rare humans who will actually be fine with just seeing them around and sharing space with them UNLESS they start presenting a threat to the health and safety of the other residents... :( I'm literally nice

Took a benadryl and am icing the sting. I looked it up and it looks like if I do have a reaction to it, it'll be in the next two hours, so we are being vigilant about keeping an eye on that. my mom had a bad allergic reaction to a bee sting a few years ago but otherwise that's not something that our family has a history with, but like. MCAS, lol. i do think it's going to be funny if my body is fine with a yellowjacket sting but throws a tantrum about (spins wheel) a glass of juice

Sounds of fierce combat echo throughout the cave. Sword against scales, claws against armor. The knight and the dragoness are both exhausted and battered. Half the knight's armor is lying around as unrecognizable pieces of metal. The dragoness has a few dented scales across her face. Finally, she lunges forward and pins the knight under her paw. Her jaws part to reveal rows of murderous teeth.

Then she smiles. "Until next time?"

"Until next time" the knight answers.
