Hello lovely people!
2020 marks 5 years of being vegan. Im so thankful everyday to be able to make delicious animal free foods. My most recent creation is a quesadilla burger! Great for when you don't feel like making anything extravagant.

Hi! What brand of breakfast sausage do you use?
Hey! The sausages in my most recent post are Field Roast Apple Maple Breakfast Sausage. They're very delicious I highly recommend!

It’s not that we believe only veganism involves human exploitation. It’s just that they are up in their high horse that they think veganism is cruelty free, like no we don’t live in a perfect world where everything is cruelty and you shouldn’t talk down to people who eat meat because you think you are superior. Listen veganism maybe cruelty free for animals but they are not for humans either as it causes all types of deficiency but so does meat eating. So welcome to reality.
In a perfect world we could be 100% cruelty free. But we don't live in a perfect world. That's why I'm vegan, because I want to do better. I want to reduce my contribution to the suffering and cruelty. While veganism is specifically about the animals, many vegans including myself are very invested in human rights & equality and environmental issues. So it's true, no one can be absolutely without a doubt cruelty free. But we can always aim higher. We can always look at our actions and think "Is this okay? Is this really the best way? Does this cause harm to others?"

Im not anywhere near vegan, my doctor recommends against it for me because of my ulcerative colitis. But that doesnt mean I cant ever have vegan foods, like??? People are so freaked out when I advocate reducing animal consumption??? "But you're not vegan, why are you telling me to stop eating meat at every meal?" BITCH uh maybe because we need to save the planet?? Just cause my body cant process a vegan diet doesnt mean I cant have a meatless Monday u absolute stank sock
Sorry to hear about your illness, I'm glad you're working with your doctor on it. I agree, the attitude some people have towards vegan food is frustrating to say the least. It's great that you still try to reduce your consumption of animal products even with your medical needs! Even though you aren't vegan I think you're doing so much good for the movement. I think it's very important to normalize vegan meals. Hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for the ask.
