I had a dream where instead of Sukuna incarnating in Yuuji's body it was Wei wuxian who wakes up in his body. You know, the Yiling Patriarch who was suppose to be summoned in Mo Xuanyu's body, yep were at that timeline. He was very confused but I think he tames the curse in front of him instead of just destroying it (wouldnt really remember because it skipped me to the next scene with megumi)

I remember wwx flirts with Gojo and being fascinated with how much resentful energy this guy has. I remember him being baffled like- he was literally condemned for using resentful energy and now everyone in this generation is just using it... to fight spirits . He then hears about Ryoumen Sukuna and thinks, ah this must be his new nickname/title. Hears about how he was many sorcerers (? Must be another term for cultivators) tried to destroy his body and just nods like, yep, that checks out.

Don't remember much after that. I just know that yuuji and him would get along to the dismay of his friends and teacher. And the last scene before I woke up was gojo confronting wwx that he's not really Sukuna.

That's about it.

(How can wwx understand Japanese? Shii idk, probably because he woke up in Yuuji's body and the soul thing provides +auto translate. 😆)

she's also my fav!! I really love her dynamic with ling chen and qiao yi, and how much she cares about all of them. her immediate defense of ling chen is also great, shes just such a loyal person <3. (ling-chen is close second though, since hes so difficult and silly and i always find myself thinking about the panels where he admits how much he hates himself and how killing ye zimu was just a means of keeping himself alive. hes also a menace and i adore him for it lmao)

YESS!! And I love how much they care about her in return! I especially love how the dynamic between jiang xiao and qiao yi went from one sided rival and classmate to friends 💕💕

Truth to that about Ling Chen, although I can't relate to him most of the time (I'm not a genius or villain lmao ^^;) I can't help but admire how much he's willing to sacrifice for those he cares about. (I know broo 😭😭 frick and the reveal of what happened to jiang xiao in his timeline and that his final attempt in killing ye zimu, despite knowing that if the last one didn't succeed its likely not to with what technologies he came up with, is just his suicide. I really think that sacrificing jiang xiao was the final straw for this whole thing to happen, because he literally lost everything now.)

I always find it weird how easily panlos mask came off, in like years they fought-- cmon, you can't convince me that ye zimu had never once punch his face. But it got me thinking that maybe ling chen did so deliberately so he could finally reveal his identity and make him hate him. And if he loses their final battle, ye zimu would lose the last of his 'friend' just as ling Chen had with jiang xiao.

i love villain initialization, but i couldnt get past the first few eps of the donghua since it lacks the humor that made the manhua so charming

who's your favorite character?

I feel you on that about the donghua. They changed so much that although the story still proceeds to what the plot is about, the context/motives of how they get there is so weird to watch.

Like I mentioned in the tags of my last post the way ling Chen in the donghua is much less evil than in manhua, which was a whiplash for me. Apparently its common in adaptations in China to do this? Like making the evil character from a novel or manhua to be less evil. (Although I found this info from a twitter post so take it with a grain of salt).

Favourite character had to be Jiang Xiao. She may not be a genius like Ling Chen but I love her character because she's true to herself, perceptive at times, great with adapting to situations and if she has a goal she'll do her best to get it. Her perceptiveness helps her figure out that something weird is happening to her friends but she knows enough that it's better to wait until they're comfortable to tell her what it is about. (But i think she only does this after confronting ling Chen with his weird behaviour doesn't really change the fact its still him so she stopped pestering him and just accepted the changes)

I guess that's also the reason why she gets the power of controlling the wind because she's better at going with the flow.

(I love her, although I may not have a good read on her character lmao I'm mainly working on what was most memorable to me about her )

I'm rambling at this point, I need to re read it this manhua. How about you guys? Who's your favourite character? ^^

Been seeing a lot of Generation Loss Charlie and ranboo getting transported to qsmp and I love all of them but lemme introduce you

Episode 1 the spirit of the cabin, slimy demon Charlie and ranboo gets transported to qsmp for some reason.

There are three ways this can go:

First, Charlie and ranboo who are still brainwashed or manipulated by showfall. So everything they see, remember etc. Are the same before they got there. Charlie still believes he's a slimy demon in the name of slimecicle and is confused why his powers don't work. (He blames its because he's no longer in the cabin). Ranboo is still very much terrified of him.

Second, just the same as last one except Charlie actually becomes a slimy demon in this universe. Don't ask why, probably because uhh slime. And is still trying to spook ranboo for some reason, probably uhh because of uhh the death of Richard, gram gram, sharkcicle, etc. And is gonna send him to Christian hell if it weren't for the people on qsmp stopping him.

Third, still the same but Charlie does not have powers and the qsmp people are horrified to seeing Charlie covered in blood and guts. But Charlie keeps claiming its slime, the same with ranboo. And they're genuinely concerned for this people.
