Y’know, the double standard whereby bisexual men are presumed to be self-hating gay dudes and bisexual women are presumed to be straight trendsters totally makes sense if you’re starting with the premise that the most important thing about a person is whether they’re attracted to men.

It's presumed because it's overwhelmingly true. When I recognise the suffering I've gone through (I'm a lesbian) from the misogynistic tendancies of bisexuals my regonition is also a complaint. Bisexuals as a class, regardless of romanic interaction with me, interact with people as if the only important thing about themselves is whether they're attracted to men. To recognise and have a problem with that overwhelmingly common bisexual misogyny is correct and bisexuals as a class should consider that criticism.

eventually, our books are going to be taken over with TIM nonsense and so we need to keep writing and keep creating, it is possible to keep the truth of female homosexuality alive but it will not be easy.
