Basic Tips For Newbies
So Iām not the best at tips but Iāll give it a shot.
1. REGULAR BARCODES DO. NOT. SET. OFF. ALARMS. if itās printed onto the object (shampoo bottle, facial cleanser, etc) it wonāt set off the alarms.
2. āHow do I find a blindspot?ā Walk around, crouch, behind shelves, displays whatever floats your boat. If you canāt see a camera, it canāt see you. But lol watch out for hidden cameras those are fuckers.
Now, on to what does set off towers⦠3a. Iām not going to post a pic because mobile sucks balls but RFIDS will set off towers!! Always search for them. Theyāre puffy little thin rectangle stickers that have a barcode type design on them. Often put on makeup, almost any makeup or beauty products at bed bath and beyond, etc. They are also inside the boxes at a lot of stores so try to discreetly check for that. Just peel them off and put it on another item that doesnāt have one on. They can get very sticky so make sure you get it all off. 3b. They also come in a square sticker. Perfectly square, kind of bumpy. Usually placed on perfumes. Again, just peel off (these usually take some time. Super super sticky) and stick on to something else. 3c. RFIDs in paper tags. You know that little tag thatās attached to the clothing with the size and price on it? Some places and/or articles of clothing will have an RFID actually in the tag. You can just rip those off and hide it somewhere or throw them away. 3d. ALWAYS CHECK FOR THESE IN CLOTHES BECAUSE THESE ARE SNEAKY LITTLE SHITS. Usually in higher end clothes. I havenāt had to deal with them yet but Iām sure a ton of stores near me use them. On clothes, they all have those labels with washing directions. Look around for those. If you see one that is thick and usually says āremove before washing or wearingā or something of that sort, cut it off! It has an RFID embedded into the clothing. Isnāt source tagging great? Anyway. Like I said, just slice it off with little sewing scissors or a pocket knife or something, hide or discard. 3e. Those plastic tags that everyone knows and loves. Some need a magnet, some need hooks. If it had a hole in it, it needs a hook. If not, magnet. Wala (or however you spell it). Tags decoded. Now if youāre ever ballsy enough to get a hook or magnet, be extremely careful. That shit can get you caught so fast. Also Iāve heard to wrap your magnet in a bandana or something which is a good idea. Be careful and only detag using a magnet or hook when thereās a lot of noise, business, etc. There will be a loud pop. But also be careful because while a lot of customer talk next to you can override the sound, they may have also worked in retail and can know the sound and snitch. So magnets and hooks are very risky, which is why Iāll never buy them.
Alright on to fitting rooms 4a. If fitting rooms are unattended and unlocked (like target sometimes, wet seal sometimes, etc) you have come across the holy grail of shoplifting. Enjoy this moment. Embrace it. And donāt get sloppy and fuck up. What I mean by that is.. Youāre still on camera. Unless youāre damn good at concealing quickly on floor or double hanging, youāre probably not going to make it into the fitting room without a camera catching a glimpse of you carrying a bright yellow top (example of outstanding, noticeable pattern) and then not having it a few minutes later (if you concealed or hid it). So basically what Iām trying to say is, itās basically a free for all. But donāt go into the dressing room with just one bright pink top and a bunch of other dull greys then come out with no bright colors. If youāre unlucky and someone is bored and watching the cameras, theyāll be onto you if not customer servicing you right away. So if youāre lifting a polka dot top, a bright yellow tee, etc., always have at least two of that same shirt/pattern and only steal one. And try not to make too many tips to the dressing room if youāre not buying anything because that will seem sus. 4b. Fitting rooms that are locked and unattended. Just get an SA to open it for you. If they count themselves, only take one or two things. But always test it out and make sure you can come out without them counting again. Marshallās does that. Like okay sure stop me from stealing this half ass pair of shorts that are like 60% off. These are still pretty easy, just be cautious.
How to not seem suspicious. 5a. Well for starters donāt clearly look up at the ceiling. If Iām getting clothes at a place with a fitting room, I donāt even bother to find a blind spot because I donāt need it. Just subtly look for cameras if you have to. But be careful!! 5b. Getting clothes but donāt wanna seem suspicious for not buying anything? Say youāre looking for an outfit for a dinner with family, a funeral, a football game. But please donāt use the same excuse multiple times at the same store. 5c. Ask questions. Ask opinions from the SAs. Hell, they work there they should be somewhat into fashion depending on where you are. Ask for different sizes. Just basically donāt be in a shell.
How to dress. 6a. Dress for the weather!! I know this is harder if you self harm and itās summer so Iām sorry but then maybe just wear a very light long sleeve shirt. Capris are very acceptable in summer as well. Scarves can be used to your advantage but again, make sure the type is the kind you would wear in the season youāre in. 6b. If youāre getting clothes, a structured bag helps. Or bring in old shopping bags with you and use that. If youāre getting makeup, it really doesnāt matter. Using a slouchy bag might even seem less suspicious. 6c. Donāt come to the mall, ulta, even target in just sweats and a tshirt if you plan on lifting and youāre clearly under around 25. Just donāt. Work on your appearance. Break out that expensive makeup, put on nice shoes, make it seem like you could buy anything you want. But donāt go to target wearing an mk selma and Chanel. I mean you could but I wouldnāt. Just vary it by store. You want to blend in. Donāt be memorable.
Timing in between hauls 7a. If youāre actually lifting, donāt go to the same store more than twice per two weeks. And thatās really cutting it close. 7b. If you lift one day but need to go to the store and youāre actually buying something, no time is needed in between. Just make sure you donāt lift more than two days per two weeks. 7c. If youāre sloppy and think an SA is suspicious of you, more time is needed between hauls. Iād say donāt go back to that store for about 3-4 weeks. And go at a different time and day than you did. 7d. If you set off towers, donāt go back for about 3-4 weeks. Now my pet peeve is people setting off towers because it always makes me worried it will amp up security over time. I get that towers malfunction and even people buying stuff set off towers but it just bugs me. But I have set off towers before so I canāt really say anything more. I knew I was gonna set it off too but I couldnāt help it. Anyway, if you set off towers, Iād wait a long time to come back. Retail is actually really good at remembering people.
Boosting sites 8. Poshmark, mercari, vinted, eBay. Poshmark seems to be the most common. Just research those and find one you like.
Actual boosting tips 9a. Take about 20-30% off your item if itās brand new. If itās damaged, take 40-50% off. It all depends on the item and condition. Keep in mind poshmark makes the customer pay $5 for shipping which is a lot so if a customer tries to offer too low, donāt get too upset. People will ask for $30 or less for a naked palette. Just donāt take the offer and move on. (Unless youāre okay with accepting. I mean what, so you only earn $30 for that palette you got for free? It still adds up and youāre making someoneās day by only charging that much. I donāt boost but if I did boost lifted stuff, Iād sell it for super cheap every now and then.) 9b. Now Iām sure youāve seen those hauls with 15+ palettes in them. We all have. But do not say you have like 7 more naked palettes in stock!!! That just seems weird because nobody has 7 naked 2s they got for their birthday that they donāt want. So just try to keep some time in between each item you sell if youāve sold it before. Even use different sites if you want. Just donāt make it too suspicious that you have 10 extra $54 palettes. 9c. Now a question Iāve seen come up a lot is āIām a minor and donāt want my parents to know Iām boosting.ā Now honestly this will be hard to hide. If you have a car, just go to the post office ms drop it off there. Put it in the mail when your parents arenāt home. Basically just do anything when youāre parents arenāt there or say youāre sending it to a friend that moved or something. I canāt give much advice here but just donāt get caught sending out like six packages a month. Theyāll start to get suspicious.
On to vocab from the community. 10. >Lifting: The act of shoplifting goods and/or services ILLEGALLY from a store and/or person (donāt steal from people, Iāll do more on that later.) >SA: Store/Sales associate. Employees in stores that can and will get you caught. Watch out for them. Be nice to them. >LP: Loss prevention/Loss Protection: The very people whoās sole job it is to keep you from coming home with hauls. May be 1 per store, may be one per region. Just assume theyāre always in store, eyes glued to the cameras. >AP: Asset protection: (see LP) >Sus: Suspicious. The act of being or seeming suspicious. >CS'ed: Customer serviced. An SA may be suspicious of you then come up to you and either scare you away from just lifting or make you leave the store immediately. āCan I help you find a different size?ā āDo you want a matching bra with those?ā Etc. sometimes theyāll just be making conversation. It should be easy to differentiate. >Haul: All of the items you get in a trip. >Double-Dipping: When someone sends the same question to multiple people. Usually could be a question answered by researching, but is rarely done. >Free for all: This DOES NOT mean just shove everything into your bag without a care in the world. It means the store is relatively easy. Still be wary of cameras, customers, and other basic cautions. >Sweethearting: A method where the cashier doesnāt ring an item up for their friend or rings up something of a lesser value. Can be as simple as giving a free drink at Starbucks but on such a small scale like that, itās usually never noticed or punished.
Places you should NOT lift from 11. Goodwill, churches, public libraries, flea markets, farmers markets, festivals where people sell their own items, family owned businesses, people, teachers, fairs, places that will hurt the owner.
Places you should lift from 12. Big corporations (target, Macyās, etc), amusement parks, kill shelters.
If youāre caught 13. Be honest. Admit. Make up a story about how it was your first time and you thought itād be fun because your friend gets so much. Cry. But be respectful of them. Apologize like thereās no tomorrow. Hopefully theyāll go easy on you.
Stores I can give tips on if needed 14a. Mall stores: Francescaās, Nordstrom, Macyās, wet seal, forever 21, hot topic, Victoriaās Secret, pink, Claireās, icing, PAC sun, American eagle, bath and body works, Windsor, Charlotte Russe 14b. Other: Target, Bed bath and beyond, pier 1 imports, michaels, hobby lobby, Home Depot, Sallyās, CVS
Basic Lifting Protocol I. Do NOT get cocky. II. Do NOT get greedy. III. Donāt leave any evidence behind. IV. Donāt leave the fitting rooms a mess. V. Donāt hurt others economically while lifting (see #11 above) VI. Donāt argue when caught. Be respectful. VII. Donāt be sloppy. VIII. Always check for tags. Everywhere. Three times. IX. Do āshopā confidently. Be intrigued. X. Always be a bad bitch.
Sorry for this being so long. Idk how to do the under the cut thing and Iām on mobile anyway. Hope this helped some of you.

āØāļøSeph0ra PostāļøāØ
1. TIMING
timing is everything-i either try to go either an hour before closing when the SAs are tired and lazy from wanting to go home or right at busy times like on Saturdays when everyone is out. Some people function better when lifting with crowds while others like privacy-know which one you function best at and go then. I would recommend 5-10 minutes in a location. Make a list of what you want before so you donāt get greedy which is so easy in seph0ra. Having a plan is also the best way to get in and out fast. I usually get 1-2 itemsā¦3 if Iām feeling bold. Know your limit and how much you can handle in x amount of time you allot yourself. If you hang around for longer than 10 minutes you will get serviced more and people will take more note of you since people usually spend 7-13 minutes in a seph0ra at my location at least. I always aim to be in the low average of shoppers.
2. APPERANCE
look somewhat put together, you donāt need to have a full on glam look but have some makeup on so the SAs donāt swarm you and think you know nothing about makeup then never leave your side. WEAR LONG SLEEVES. long sleeves are literally a godsend in Seph0ra. They make everything so much easier to conceal which I will go into further depth about later. Obviously donāt be in dirty sweatpants or something, my go to āfuck up seph0raā fit is a long comfy sweater/sweatshirt with leggings and a baseball cap and a bag of course. I usually use other shopping bags that are dark and you cannot see through for larger items.
3. BROWSING
When browsing for products always check for tags, if needed open the packaging if an SA asks just say you bought one but it was damaged blah blah blah⦠they will get bored and leave you alone. I always test products on myself in the mirrors even if I already know itās mine, testing makeup looks less suspicious than someone grabbing something without examination or testing it on themselves. Swatch it, put in on your face, shop like REAL people do, pretend youāre debating whether to spend $40 on a fucking lipstick. When testing the product look around you in the mirror. Are there people around you? Can you use them to your advantage? where all the SAs? Are there cameras above you? How many cameras? Always keep your eyes open when browsing.
4. CONCEALING
For smaller items like lipstick, concealer sticks, whatever can fit up a sleeve comfortably just slide it up your sleeve. Take two of the same product, examine one with one hand while you slide the other one up your other sleeve FAST. I recommend ALWAYS moving when you do this, turning corners, going from standing to crouching to look at something else. After you have concealed the first item return the second one. An easy fool proof way is also reaching DEEP into a display where you hands cannot be seen then sliding it up your arm if youāre a bit more nervous. For eyeshadow palettes use the drop method once PERFECTED at home. I mean practiced and practiced and practiced. There are also blind spots which you should be concealing in at all times if possible. There probably are 1-2 blind spots at my location, but you can make your own by crouching, using people, walking, etc.
5. HOW TO WIN WITH SAs
SAs are trained to monitor what you are holding. So whenever possible donāt try to make lots of contact with them while not looking like youāre avoiding them. Fake a phone call if you feel overwhelmed and need to get to a part of the store fast. āHey momā¦. you want what? Another hair mask? Let me look at the options.ā little things like this can help if you feel anxious, take time to regroup, conceal, dump, or whatever you need while on the phone. Donāt wanna fake a call? Google a random product to take a second to breathe. If needed fake a phone to get out. Ask SAs to help you test something. I ask an SA to help me match a foundation and just chat a little and compliment their makeup or whatever, i feel like if one SA approves you they all turn a blind eye. If an SA offers you a bag thatās literally their job, it doesnāt mean youāve been sussed unless you get a weird vibe fro them, but Iāve been offered a bag so many times after they give me a product theyāve tested on me.
hope all these helped! be safe and beat that face hunāØ
This is pretty much what I do also take a small purse not too small to the point you canāt fit anything but a small to medium sized purse I have one that is double sided zippering one side opens the larger side of the purse and the other is the small side where I have my wallet and phone and keys I pretend to get a call and open the side with my wallet and no one can sus me cuz my bag is wide open and you can only see my wallet this purse has help me lift so much itās a god send donāt get too cocky or greedy and donāt come too often either or you could get caught but since my purse is small no one really suspects me
āØselling on mercari tipsāØ
Iāve sold over $2,000 worth of things on mercari so far so I figured Iād share some of my tips and tricks for quick and high value sales! This post is long so you might want to come back to it later, Iāll leave it at the top of my feed for a while for easy access.
ā” 1. Always take high quality photos of the front, back, and any flaws of the item. If you have more photos available, take a photo of the label of the item and any tags it comes with if it is NWT. Make sure that the photos are not blurry or pixelated.
- I myself will click away from a sellerās item immediately if there is only one photo of the item, or if all photos are oddly zoomed in on or blurry. It causes suspicion about the true condition of the item if the seller appears to not want to post a photo of all parts.
ā” 2. Be descriptive in your title and listing! Be honest about the condition of the item and list ALL flaws. If there is a period stain on a pair of shorts, address it. Use āNewā only for items New With Tags. Use āLike Newā for items never worn. Mercari frequently sides with the buyer if they determine that you did not describe your item accurately and honestly. Use appropriate keywords and make your description concise but not short.
- I click away from any item that does not have a description. It shows low effort and makes me question the true condition of the item as well as the sellerās ship time.
ā” 3. Be smart. Document all interactions between yourself and your buyer. If the item you are selling is expensive like an iPhone, videotape yourself boxing up the item all the way through to taking it to the post office and dropping it off. I once won a Mercari dispute because I documented my buyer saying that the item didnāt fit her, and showed this to Mercari because their policy is that they do not allow returns based on size issues.
ā” 4. Do not cheat on shipping labels! Sometimes you can get away with putting a heavy pair of jeans under a $4 shipping label weight, but be prepared to get a poor rating and a pissy buyer who will expect you to make up the postal difference if it comes down to it. And never use a priority FLAT RATE box for a priority $6 label. The basic priority boxes are for the $6 label, not the flat rate. Your buyer WILL have to pay the $7-14 difference on the flat rate if you send it with a $4-$6 label. The only way to get around using a flat rate box with the wrong label is to wrap it in something, but that can look very sloppy and cheap and earn you a poor rating as well.
ā” 5. Give measurements accurately and do not solely size the item by the tag size. Items may shrink in the wash. If your size 8 pants have the waist size of 24", SAY THIS in your description to avoid getting an upset buyer! Just because Mercari doesnāt issue returns based on size doesnāt mean that you should screw over your buyer because you can. Besides, sometimes they side with the buyer anyway, so itās best to not put yourself in this situation. I give the measurements of all inseams and waist sizes on pants regardless of tag label.
ā” 6. Package items with care and a thank you note. Do not put your item in a cardboard box without any protective wrapping or else it may get wet. I use waterproof polymailers, but on the rare occasion that I do use boxes, I put the items in a ziplock bag. If your packaging looks sloppy, you will get a bad rating. And for the love of Godā I shouldnāt even have to say this, but donāt leave popcorn kernel crumbs or dead roaches in your packaging! It is disgusting and I have had this happen to me, and I have never bought from those buyers again.
ā” 7. Ignore lowball offers. You will have some people approach you about a NWT item that was originally $120 from Zara and say āIāll buy for $3 free shippingā. Donāt even justify this with a response. Many will later say something like āsorryā or āhello :)ā or āPlease my mom is dying of cancer and bla blah blahā ignore it. These are the scam artists that will screw you over anyway or the lowballers who will take advantage of your item.
ā” 8. Be patient! Your more obscure brand items may take months or even years to sell. Donāt lowball yourself unless you absolutely have to get rid of the item (but if youāre going to sell everything for $3, you may as well take them to Platoās or Clothes Mentor). If you have a heavily stained or worn item and itās a brand nobody cares about, just take it to Goodwill and get the tax credit for it instead of trying to sell it when itās likely not worth your gas money and packaging efforts to send it for $3 anyway.
ā” 9. Buy from other sellers as well to build up your ratings, and be a pleasant buyer (I will make my next post about this).
- I personally do not buy or sell to anyone who has 0 ratings, because many turn out to be bots or scam artists.
ā” 10. DO NOT PUT YOUR ITEM IN YOUR MAILBOX. This can depend on where you live, but if youāre going to do this, hand it off to your mailman personally to avoid it getting stolen. Your buyer will be pissed if it never arrives and theyāve paid for it.
ā” 11. Get direct deposits as often as possible. Mercari is known for randomly closing down accounts due to āviolationsā and keeping the money in these accounts. This has gotten a lot better, but is still not worth the risk. As soon as you reach your $10 cashout, request it to protect yourself. Keeping $500 in your account for a month is foolish.
ā” 12. DO NOT SELL COUNTERFIT OR NON-AUTHENTIC OR āINSPIREDā ITEMS. YOU CAN AND WILL BE PUNISHED FOR THIS. I had $55 in my account when I was told that if I posted another Ivory Ella dupe that my account would be terminated without notice, and this has happened to many others before. I was suspended instead. I didnāt even use the words ādupeā or āfakeā in my description or title. My guess is that a competitor seller reported my listing personally.
ā” 13. Answer questions from buyers as soon as possible, granted that they arenāt trolling or harassing you. You might have many men comment something like ānice pantiesā if youāre selling new underwear or whatever. Block them. Donāt let them buy from you and get your address from the label. If the question is honest, do your best to give more photos or measurements or describe the condition as accurately as possible.
- I do not buy from people who do not answer me.
ā” 14. Model photos of items generally help them to sell faster as long as they are appropriate in nature.
ā” 15. In relation to the above, DO NOT MODEL AN ITEM AND THEN SAY āNEVER WORN/TRIED ONā!!! This looks stupid as hell and I always laugh my ass off when I see it. If you want to say that the item was never worn, use an image off google⦠BUT know that stock photos are not allowed on Mercari! I have had listings removed because of stock photos. Your best bet is to just model the item and say ālike newā condition and āonly worn for the model photoā.
ā” 16. Do not get an attitude with buyers. If they are trolling or lowballing, ignore them. They can report you and get your account terminated for snarky comments. Try to appear as pleasant as possible, but donāt be a kissass.
āHi, Iād like to offer $18 on this $20 top!ā - potential buyer
ācan you not read? My price says firm dumbassā - seller ā Even though it may seem like common sense to read the description, it wasnāt a lowball offer and doesnāt warrant a smartass response. And if youāve had this item up for a while then you should probably just take the offer anyway as itās barely off from your original asking price.
āHello, my price is firm, sorry, but I will let you know if that changes in the future!ā ā Mature and doesnāt offend the potential buyer.
āHello! I have uploaded another photo like you requested. :)ā ā
āHi girl :) Your profile pic is super cute btw. For your convenience Iāve added three more photos even though you just asked to see the size label photo. Feel free to make me an offer. Iāll even ship out next day for you.ā 3 min later āHello? Are you interested?ā 2 min later āHi let me know if you want it or notā ā
- If a buyer wants it, they will make an offer or buy it. You donāt need to ask 5 times. If they asked for another photo and ended up not buying it, the photo likely told them something about the item that they did not want like the condition or size, and there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS. Do not feel pressured to lie for fast sales.
ā” 17. Donāt flip free items for their āoriginal pricesā. If you get a free blanket from VS when you spend $75 and claim that you paid āfull priceā 89.95 like it says on the tag, you look like an ass and insult everyone around you by insinuating that everyone is stupid enough to believe that.
VS Blanket $30 NWT - Got this free with purchase and donāt need it, hoping someone else can use it. Price is firm otherwise Iād keep it. ā
VS Blanket $89.95 - My price is FIRM, I paid full price for this and am just trying to make my money back because I lost the receipt. I did not get this free no matter what you say. ā
ā” 18. The above brings me to my next point⦠donāt extravagantly lie about why youāre selling items. It looks weird and suspicious.
NWT Makeup Palette Naked3 $75 - Got the wrong one in stores yesterday, lost my receipt. Nobody in my family wants it and none of my friends do. Donāt ask me any more questions. PRICE IS FIRM!!! (Has 20 other palettes listed on their page) ā Lies lies lies, and rude. Obvious shoplifter.
NWT Makeup Palette Naked3 $25 (only one listed on page) - Got this as a gift, donāt want it. ā To the point and doesnāt look suspicious.
NWT Makeup Palette Naked3 $25 - Price is firm. ā In general, you donāt even owe anyone an explanation as to why you are selling an item if it is unused. Making up stories makes it sound like youāve acquired the item through illegal or counterfit means and are trying to pre-convince people of this not being true.
ā” 19. Your price point needs to be fair. In general, Mercari is a used goods marketplace.
Hollister shirt size xs - has some stains and holes. Just trying to make back what I paid for it. $49.95 price is firm. ā
Hollister shirt size xs - nwt, $49.95, price is firm. ā Nobody gives a shit what you paid for it. Itās on sale in stores for $8 NWT right now. The only items that you can get away with up charging are from PINK that are sold out (such as the Sherpa quarter zips that frequently sold for $140 on Merc when they were originally $65 in stores) and cosmetic items.
Hollister shirt size xs - nwt, $10. ā Even though this item is on sale in stores, you might have the only size or color left, and your price point is reasonable. You can expect a relatively easy sale. Some people also prefer to use their Mercari credits for transactions rather than their cards and will only buy from Mercari because of this.
ā” 20. Put actual care into the presentation of your items. If cat hair is visible in your photos that is disgusting. If your item is wrinkled and thrown down on a stained carpet that is disgusting. If your item is being held up by your completely visible boyfriend that is weird. If your item is stained but is hung up nicely against a solid background and has obviously been adjusted to look as nice as possible, you will have more buyers.
ā” 21. Spamming your items with tags is annoying and you will get blocked by many for this. I automatically block those annoying people who post pictures of their popsockets with the tags Kylie vs vspink Zara michaelkors tommyhilfiger pacsun and clog up those tags with 500 listings to the point where I canāt even see the items Iām looking for. I will also report these sellers. The funny thing is that Iād definitely buy from them if they wouldnāt do that as their items are generally nice.
ā” 22. Do not write your description like you are in third grade.
Kylie lip kittttt šššš sooooo cute, 39.95 š¤š¤ only broke 5 parts of the kit, like new otherwise ā
Kylie Lip Kit - Maliboo. 5 parts of the kitās box and metal case are broken, hence the low price. The cosmetics are still functional and have not been swatched or used. Make me an offer. $12 ā
ā” 23. Be respectful when writing your description and be careful of your wording.
Zara pants size 8 would be better for a fat girl, too big for me. $50 ā
Zara orange pants - size 8. Too big for me so Iām hoping someone else can use them as they are great quality pants. NWT. I would say these are true to size. Their inseam is 33" and their waist is 15" laying flat. $50 ā
ā” 24. Since Mercari has taken off the ship time option, you need to address this yourself in your description. If you only ship once a week, say that. If you ship same or next day, say that! If you get a rating AFTER youāve said that you ship in 3-4 days that says ātook 3 days to ship! Poor!ā you can dispute this as you can prove that youāve already addressed the buyer about this before purchase. If you donāt specify, then people will be pissy about wait time and pester you with āship asapā or āI need this by Tuesday.ā (buys on a Sunday) A lot of Mercari issues can be prevented with simple pre-communication.
ā” 25. Ship out as soon as possible. If you are on your way to work, leave 5 min earlier and drop off your package at the PO or the appropriate dropbox for the package.
ā” 26. Most of all, enjoy your Mercari experience! Donāt rush on getting everything out of your closet, donāt sell your favorite items because youāre tempted to get a high price for them if theyāre selling well at the time, donāt accept lowball offers if you know itās going to make you feel cheated after, take precaution and be safe, etc. Be patient, considerate, and thorough, and you should have no issues with selling items with ease and building your seller ratings!

YA BITCH GOT NEW UNDIES
thought this was funnyš

ššš
Laying out my haul on my bed when I get home and looking at it like
You WILL get caught
Iām not trying to be dramatic (okay maybe a little) but you guys need to be careful
One of my best friends has been lifting a TON lately. Heās all hyped up on lifting big ticket items because heās never been caught. He lifts Fossil watches ($700 today), fitbits, and a bunch of other shit. In short, heās reckless and keeps insisting that he knows how to do it, and he wouldnāt risk lifting something if he didnāt know he could do it. Iāve been lifting with him twice before and heās so fucking careless - he grabs shit and conceals without paying close attention to blindspots, cameras, employees, and completely ignores if there are other customers around. In his defense, heās never been caught.
Iām not saying you will definitely get caught (despite the title), especially if you are careful. But Iāve gone through periods of time where Iāve been just as reckless, and looking back, it wasnāt worth it. No Natasha Denona, Gucci, or Apple product is worth ruining my future. Or his. Or any of yours.
PLEASE donāt get caught up in the liftblr culture of lifting a thousand dollars worth of shit every time you go out. I love lifting as much as the next person, but nothing is worth landing a felony, or jail time.
Stay safe
