Well, here we are. Final post. I hope you all had a good time, I certainly did! And oh my god, have I learned a lot. There were good times and bad times, mistakes and bizarre interactions, but I will never forget these past five months and all of the experience I have gained. I’d like to thank all of you for following and interacting with me. You’ve made this a wonderful experience, and while my goal all along was to in some way benefit you, I never expected to gain so much in return. I am truly grateful.

After hundreds of prompts I’m fresh out of mushy stuff, but for more eloquent rambling about what a truly amazing experience this has been, the first few paragraphs of the project info page wrap it up pretty well.

I’m so incredibly happy to have met so many people from so many different communities. I believe my only regret is that I never got up the courage to talk to more of you, because you are some of the strongest and most beautiful people in the web. I will leave this final link to a new, unrelated blog I’m co-mod of, in case any of you wish to look me up. I’m still a friendly, educated queer community member. I won’t be making prompts anymore, but I guess that means I’m in business for a new adventure.

hey, what happened? I haven't kept up with this account recently, so I'm sorry if you've said it before, but are you okay?

Oh yes, absolutely! This entire blog is a Girl Scout Gold Award Project. Some information is here, but it’s a bit wordy and outdated. It will be the last thing I change to reflect the concluded status of the blog.

Basically, this was an effort to encourage expression among nonstraight, noncis, and intersex individuals, as well as to increase diversity in representation. Additionally, it’s a learning and helping environment. Since July 1st of this year, hundreds of prompts have been written, inspiring tens of thousands of words of queer fiction. Dozens of resources have been gathered for the community, and I know of several individuals who have used the resources of this blog to help come to terms with their identities.

It’s been a success far greater than I ever anticipated! But at some point, according to the guidelines of the award, I have to declare the project finished and leave it alone for good. That time has come. The blog will remain up for future enjoyment.

I was hoping this would be my last interaction with tumblr, but I’ve gotten a lot of interest in my future endeavors, so I created another blog @nonstraight-noncis which will be the location of all/any of my future work, all non-prompt related. My only disappointment is that there’s no escaping tumblr. ^^ Thank you so much for your concern!

“Neither of us want our taboo relationship to be known so I write letters to you and hide them in my architectural plans and you respond in secret crevices when you paint the cathedrals. It’s way more romantic than letters, if I do say so myself.” AU

I really like this character set though it’s a bit hard to write AU’s for.
