"I look terrible, Miru," she wails from her bunk, phone in one hand and a brow-destroying weapon in the other. "I mess up like this all the time! I don't even know how it happened - I sneezed, and then it just..." she trails off, her cries muffled by her axolotl plushie. Eventually, she manages to regain some composure, sitting up while covering the right side of her face. "Please, just don't laugh, okay?" With a shaky breath, she drops her hand, revealing the remnants of her brow. "I keep trying to fix it and I'm only making it worse."
miru is taking the time home alone to work on his skincare, which has had a much needed improvement coming from the skilled hands of sunhwa. she's recommended many products for him, now he just has to find the time to use them, and by time he means motivation. being blessed with good skin isn't enough, she would say, so here he is using a serum or whatever it is and trying to avoid eye wrinkles. if anyone looked to close, they'd be able to tell he's in his mid twenties and that is a problem.
he's washing his face when his phone rings and he answers it to find a sobbing taeha. he pretends like this isn't a crisis and continues to wash his face. "alright," he says pushing water into his face and drying off with a towel. "it can't be that bad." he's reaching for the hair oil and dumping a bunch into the palm of his hand. he quickly moves it in his hair before picking up his phone and putting the screen closer to his face before her reveal. this he wants to see.
"oh," miru says once her hand is gone. "oh my." taeha's eyebrow is not salvageable, all his time in drag and doing makeup makes him at least somewhat knowledgeable in that fact. "i mean," miru trails off, stifling a laugh that wants to come up like throw up. "who needs eyebrows, right? how did you even manage to do that?" he pauses, shrugging and going back to his skin care. "i mean maybe you can just... draw it on or something. they have those eyebrow things too. the dolls use those a lot."
