If you go on this site and say something like "I'm broke right now, I'll have rice instead of steak for dinner" then somebody will come into your notes with the most condescending tone possible and say "EXCUSE ME but rice is FAR more expensive than steak", and if you disagree with them then they'll be like "Fancy gourmet rice cooked for you by a professional chef is much more costly than if your parents give you the steak that they won in a raffle" and act like this is a reasonable reading of your original post and they've successfully corrected you

But that table, the one the roses are on? That looks like it could be a night table. It's got flowers and a photo frame on it. That's almost certainly a nightstand. I don't see how it could be anything else.

He has to have a bed in there, right?

So in case you haven't noticed it yet, let me spell it out for you.

Phoenix is sitting on Kristoph's bed.

Is that not the only possible place it could be in this cell? Do you want to tell me I'm wrong about this? Think it over first.

Given that this is while Phoenix is disbarred, but he’s for some reason speaking to Kristoph in relative privacy inside his cell — is this a conjugal visit?

Like why else would he even be inside the cell??

PHOENIX WRIGHT’S BIRTHDAY IS ON OCTOBER 11TH

I JUST DID A LOT OF RESEARCH AND HAVE CONFIRMED THAT PHOENIX WRIGHT’S BIRTHDAY IS ON EITHER OCTOBER 11 OR 12. PROBABLY THE 11TH.

So on October 12, 2018, he was 26. (Check his profile in the Stolen Turnabout). 

On October 10, 2026, he was 33 (Turnabout Succession). This means that on October 10, 2018, he was 25. Meaning that his birthday is either on the 11th or the first day of the Stolen Turnabout. Since his birthday isn’t mentioned, we can assume that his birthday is on the 11th!

(note: Dual Destinies forgets this fact. But up until that, it was completely consistent.)

really enjoy that engarde asks to call his lawyer while talking to phoenix and that when he does and phoenix’s phone rings he picks it up and says ‘hello?’ as if he’s expecting someone else and then they just continue the conversation over the phone while looking at each other. especially enjoy that he does this bit twice and that phoenix goes along with it both times. obviously indicative of something deeply wrong with engarde but arguably even more of something wrong with phoenix

ace attorney investigations 2 will never be translated into english because we cannot be trusted with the knowledge that, canonically, miles edgeworth is only capable of being quiet and not insulting or goading emotionally unstable witnesses if he first mentally transports himself to a special vr style cgi graphic chess dimension he invented in his head where he has chess powers which, notably, do not seem to actually follow any specific chess rules. but i’m here to tell you: every time he has ever refrained from insulting and or threatening someone during a routine interrogation or wendy’s drivethru experience it was because he went to his special tron ripoff chess dimension mind palace and reframed the old “not being rude on purpose” gambit as a cool chess strategy for debate masters

furio tigre is such a strange character because if you hadn’t played ace attorney and you heard there was literally a wario version of phoenix you’d assume he was a major or at least recurring villain. but then he appears for ten minutes gets arrested and you never see him again. screen time to questions raised ratio is crazy

Really love how in ace attoney, phoenix and the player are rarely on the same page. Either phoenix claims he knows exactly what's going on and you're just like "uhm??? what???" or you're like "yeah this is really obvious, i got it", but phoenix internal dialogue says "i have no idea where i'm going with this"
