(SOLD) Mandala no. 4 - "The Red Thread I" Acrylics and inks on round panel 30cm diameter
The concept for this mandala comes from an East Asian belief called “The Red Thread” where an invisible red cord is said to be tied between two people that are destined to meet. The cord can stretch and tangle all over the Earth but will never break.

With "Submerge", I wanted to invoke a sense of depth. Specifically, the feeling of being submerged in tropical waters whilst looking up and watching the brilliant golden sun dance through the ocean.
Blues and greens .. I definitely have a concept for this piece in my head - I really hope it translates well in the end!
