Flòçk cameras! Iâve been wondering if Iâve been seeing these in some parking lots⌠just confirmed it. Safe to say next time I go to b0rr0w Iâll be looking on the map to see if they have these cameras nearby. They make a database of your movement on your license plate.

Anyone know where to b0rr0w a record player??? Just copped 7 LDR records đđđ
â¨10+ years and iâve never been caught - TIPSâ¨
okay, not saying these tips are foolproof but i really think that they are what has helped keep me from being caught even though iâve been lifting on and off for quite a while. theyâre nothing new but IMO these are the most useful things to keep in mind, especially if youâre wanting to start doing it more seriously for boosting, holiday season, etc.Â
disguises are your best friend. once youâve perfected your disguises, there are so many more opportunities such asÂ
visit multiple times close togetherÂ
scope out the store on multiple days to see what the vibe is like when itâs busy/slow, check for cams, etc without them recognizing you!Â
shake off LP if you think youâve been sussedÂ
i know there are several posts going around with disguise tips so i wonât bother typing mine out but lmk if you want advice on this
donât wear perfume/cologne; it can draw more suspicion. LP is looking for you; they walk by you in disguise but recognize your perfume, do a double-take and realize youâre wearing a wig, took off your glasses, etc.Â
lifting with others can be a double-edged sword. i prefer to go solo, or have one consistent partner, becauseâŚ.
LIFTING IN A GROUP IS EXTREMELY RISKY! if youâre all caught, the charges can be much more serious since they may frame it as a âcrime ringâ, but if you do decide you want to do it:Â
pretend not to know each other until you are safely away from the store. donât come in the same cars, donât park near each other, donât all go to each store all at once.Â
donât even ride the same public transport together since most buses/trains have cameras (at least where i live) and if they suspect you at all, the police can pull the bus footage easily.Â
a couple people can act as decoys by being extremely sus (staring directly into camera, shifty glances, double-hanging items, etc) while the most skilled lifter of the group is the one actually doing the work.
ALSO, lifting with someone who youâve never lifted with before can be a disaster. obviously every pair has to pull off their first lift, but itâs so important to practice your concealing techniques with your partner firsthand so that you know what works for both of your skills. my best friend also lifts but we just donât work well with each other and the risk isnât worth it when weâre both proficient lifters on our own.
i avoid using tools that arenât everyday objects.Â
iâve never used magnets bc of magnet detectors, potentially sticking to clothing racks, and severely increased consequences if i were to be caught.Â
i use a hook occasionally because itâs easy to conceal on-body, but if possible i just leave it in the car.Â
try to get comfortable in crowds. if youâre lifting in a crowded store there is a higher ratio of shoppers to LP = more people that 1-2 LP are having to try to watch at any given time. i know for some people anxiety or other issues mean that this isnât possible, but if you think you can overcome it, crowds can be another great tool.Â
that being said, other shoppers will fucking snitch on you in a heartbeat, so you need to stay on your toes.Â
shoppers are not there to look at other shoppers; theyâre there to look at the products.Â
donât smile at other shoppers, donât pick up the same item as them at the same time, donât use crouching methods when theyâre nearby since you canât tell if theyâre looking over your shoulder without seeming sus.Â
if another shopper accuses you of stealing or you think youâve been sussed by them, GET THE FUCK OUT. itâs just as serious as if LP has sussed you.
some stores will take the side of the customer over the SA since the SA is a representative of the company and they want to cover their ass, but if another customer goes to the counter and says, âthat woman there is shopliftingâ theyâre more likely to follow through, start trailing you, etc. just leave.Â
even if you donât want to risk lifting in a crowd, spend time people watching when youâre not lifting. this can help you gain a sense overall of when people are looking at you or how to predict their next movements etc. this is something that i do as part of my regular job so i think that experience has really helped me.Â
if you have to ditch, ditch off camera. even if they canât stop you after youâve ditched, they can look out for you when you come back and they may catch you on your next trip.
thatâs it for now! i might do a part 2 if enough people find this post helpful :-)
Reblog if you're ok with other l/ft/rs asking or messaging about tips and methods! I'm trying to see somethin đ
Iâd like to reiterate something
My page is for helping people who are not going to spend money on items they want or need. I donât care if youâre dirt poor or a millionaire, Iâm here to help those who want my help. Do you need to know how to steal from a grocery store to put food on the table? Absolutely. Wanna know how to steal from sephora so you can have nice makeup? Itâs my pleasure. I donât CARE what background youâre from, I donât care if you COULD afford what you wanna steal, itâs none of my business. Itâs none of YOUR business either, if youâre here for some of us, youâre here for all of us. Do not, do NOT come on MY page and tell people what they do and donât need. A good percentage of my following just wants nice clothes for a change. And you know what? They deserve to have that. They want cute stationary or nicer self-care products? They DESERVE to have that. And I will do everything in MY power to help them achieve that. Whether they have the money or not. I will say this one more time, if you have something against some lifters, you have something against all lifters. If you want to shit on some of us, shit on all of us, and get the fuck off my page. Thanks <3
Idk about you guys, but Iâve been lifting for around 4 years, and never once has lifting filled that empty part of me. Not once.
Iâm not talking about, needing new shoes, socks, jackets or food. Essentials are essentials.
Iâm talking about some makeup palettes or blushes or just something that I grabbed, because I could. None of that has made me genuinely feel better about myself. It helps but the hole is still there.
Iâm glad I learned this at a young age, people around me are spending $$$ on expensive car payments or the newest bag, because they think it will make them happy.
Being a lifter gives you an early advantage into realizing that materialism will never solve any of your problems.
my tips for lyfting as someone who started less than 2 months ago and has lyfted more than 15k worth of merchandise:
1. This might sound silly, but wear a disguise. Iâm being serious. Police departments are utilizing social media and public shaming to find identities of shoppers that Lyft. Go buy a cheap wig and a pair of readers or sunglasses from dollar tree. Now youâre different person. I also have dedicated lyfting clothes that no one sees me in but the stores I lyft from including a pair of scrubs. Swear when I go in with scrubs on, nobody bats an eye at me.
2. If you have any piercings or tattoos, cover that shit up. Sounds like a given right but itâs easy to forget what body mods you have. Unfortunately for me I have an arm sleeve, one on my calf, and one below my collar bone as well as one behind my ear and my fingers tatted. it was super easy to b0rr0w when it was cold and winter but now that itâs gonna be summer I legit donât know what tricks to pull out to not be sus. Probably gonna buy some body makeup tbh.
3. If youâre driving your own car, park further away from the entrance. I havenât had any issues (yet) with someone getting my plate. Sometimes Iâll drape a shirt out of my trunk to cover my plate if I get the urge to. Of course thatâs a crime, so I pull off into the closest place and remove it after so I donât get pulled over while still having plausible deniability.
4. If you have a bad feeling walking into a store, LISTEN TO IT. There has been two times Iâve literally gotten sick to my stomach and dropped all the stuff I was gonna conceal and walked out. It feels super shitty to leave empty handed but itâs better than being behind bars.
5. Kinda niche but For pet stores, I bring my cat in a pet stroller (that I also lyfted, straight up just ripped the tags off and walked out with that shii from h0mèg00dĹ). Workers are in awe of my cat and donât sus me out. Thinking about b0rr0wing a baby stroller soon and covering it with a blanket and using that to haul my goods.
6. REUSABLE BAGS!!! Especially at stores like ČĹ@ÄèŠj0èŠand WF. 80% of the people that shop at places like these use reusable bags. They make it super easy to conceal and when you walk out itâs not Sus that youâre not carrying the stores shopping bags.
7. Never ever lyft from stores that are your âhomeâ stores. Idc. time. I safely assume the store I b0rr0w from lets the closest stores know and has my picture on the wall somewhere so I will travel 20-50 miles away from each store if im hitting the same chain and never EVER take from the closest one to me.
8. Know your stateâs laws and only b0rr0w less than the felony amount. Iâve definitely went over a few times but Iâve been getting better at checking myself lately.
9. Walk out when someone else is or when someoneâs entering. If you beep, keep walking and donât look back unless thereâs literally LP at the door then just drop the shit and call it a day.
PS these work for ME. donât be sloppy. donât be stupid. Donât be cocky. All it takes is one time being lazy to get caught. Remember each time you get away with it is just pure luck. You are still a criminal.
As always, be safe and fuuuuuuuuck mega corporations.

Not Getting Caught Online
I avoided the âdox spreeâ last summer, and I have a little bit of tech knowledge. There are a lot of posts abut not getting caught in stores, but shit happens online.  Here are a few tips, common sense is always the general rule.
1. Do NOT reblog any posts that say anything like âreblog if youâre a lifter over 18. Certain sites have rules about not doxxing minors, so youâre putting yourself on a âhey, you can dox meâ list if you reblog/like those.
2. Separate accounts are a good idea. Itâs really easy to connect a regular tumblr with their lifting blog if theyâre on the same account. Iâll see âx-regularâ liked your post, then 5 seconds later âx- liftingâ reblogged your postâ. Pretty easy to connect the two.
3. Remove all exif data from photos. You probably know by now that smartphones put all kind of location/info tags on a photo. Remove them with a website like this before posting.
4. Actually look at whatâs in your photos. Lots of liftblrs were making stupid mistakes last summer. Check the reflection of that pair of sunglasses in your photos, check if youâre making a silhouette shadow while taking a photo, etc.
5. Change details. I NEVER post a haul on the same day/weekend that I do it. If some overenthusiastic LP googles âlifted from X mall on Feb. x 2016âł, I donât want my blog to come up. I like being honest with you guys, but Iâll fudge details, maybe leave out a few bigger items, change the date, etc.Â
6. Careful with who you talk to. I give legal advice because I donât want to see yâall get caught. You can always go anon to me and Iâll respond to the best of my ability. BUT - never go ânon-anonâ to someone or trust them with personal details/names.Â
