Vampire in training, I get superpowers and one day I will join my husband in the night. We were dating before the whole ghoul thing, but then some idiot threated to steal me and forceablly ghoul me. So Dawson came to me and explained everything about the masqurade, and offered me a bond. After carefully explaining how it works. I walked into this eyes open, and I'm loving it. I can read minds, and heal people. Fucking the best, and I've been given an amulet that allows me to turn into a goddman werejackalope. Plus, I get to stay young. and honestly, hanging out with that crowd. I NEED the powers. And I'm not another sort of supernatural. No avatar, not born of the wild... And Finn's got powerful foes, who do come for us.

I might be a ghoul, but I'm more powerful than some vampires. I got it good here. We fight banes, we take down demon dealers, and it feels good to do something to protect people. Spirals are real fucked up.

I'm still studying practical fx, but now I'm less likely to be exploded AND I've been introduced to the supernatural side of hollywood. We got a mage living in the house, and I've gotten to party with the fae.

Slávka is Finn's head ghoul. She's a revenant and is dating my husband's sister. Helped get her away from her family. She's really nice, even if she can't handle spice and can't smell it either. She's accidentally eaten my hot wings before :(. Neither of us were happy.

I just don't believe that anyone can fully grasp the consequences that come with the inherent loss of agency a bond entails, no matter how many cool powers there are. How are you to know whether or not your feelings are truly your own anymore? You won't. I've seen it time and time again, it's an addiction.

Yesh, I hear that happens most of the time. Something is weird about me. Dunno. Like Finn, blood doesn't mess with my brain.

Plus, for anyone bond in the home. Finn can break them with sorcery. So one all of us won't be able to ever be controlled by a different vampire.

If anything the telepathy hub is even more of a close bond. we're in and out of one another's head all the time. Useful for coordinating in combat.

oh oh oh no... no no. I'm with ths healers and protectors of humanity. I'm valued and accepted for who I am, and my only horrors are the demons of my past masquerading as a benevolent god. Or some shit.

Turns out true cosmology is even more bonkers and I've met acutal gods now, and lots of them are pretty chill.

You can try to rationalize this all you want, but all ethics are rendered null due to how the bond works. If your group is so good and wholesome then they wouldn't need to resort to ritualistic offerings with built in mind control..
