So I was just replaying spiritfarer as I do and I realized something: (spoilers ahead)

So when you take a spirit to the everdoor, their spirit flower obviously appears in their home, but it's not just that one flower, it's usually a whole plant with multiple blooms right?

The lillies that grow on Stellas house always seemed a bit odd to me but I brushed it aside when Lily the person got there, because surely it was just hinting at that right? And then it hit me

Those are Stella's spirit flower

from the very first time you bring a spirit to pass on, from the very first time you encounter death straight on, they start growing

They start with just a few, but overtime grow and grow until Stella passes on herself.

From almost the start, the game is very clearly telling you that you are dying

i think this is actually my favorite post i've ever made in my 10+ yrs on this website because sometimes i'll be in a bad mood and then i'll open my notifications and someone will be saying smth nice about my boy. and then all is still not right in the world but it's at least a little better than before :)
