There was a time when the internet was confined to a stationary desktop in the corner of the living room in our childhood homes. Every time I turned it on, the machine would groan and whir to life, the sound sometimes deafening as I waited for it to calm down so I could click on Internet Explorer and play Club Penguin, go on Mathletics for homework, or watch a few videos on a prehistoric version of Youtube. And then I would press shut down, go up to my room, and leave the online world behind. My room was my favorite space in the whole world—it still is—and as soon as I shut the door behind me, everything within the four walls became mine and wholly mine. From the bowing bookshelves against the walls in a state of near collapse due to the number of books they were holding, to my paintings scattered all around the room, to my piano, to the loose leaf papers holding scrawls of a story I was writing—everything belonged to me and was a product of my own imagination. Owning something in its entirety like that can only be born of a complete vacuum of outside noise, and when was the last time any of us truly felt that way?

it’s non of my business, and neither is yours. he’s happy. we’ve been at this for more than a year, maybe accept it and move on…

he would not stay in a place where he was miserable. he’s actively choosing to be with her. it time people realize that.

love it or hate it she knows him waaaaay better than any of us ever will. all these “he doesn’t look happy, he’s wearing black😞” comments are ridiculous. he’s literally wearing a mask and a hat, there’s no way for you to decipher how he’s feeling just from a couple of pictures of him walking in a parking lot where you barely see his face LOL

now, is she my cup of tea? no, but that’s not because she’s dating tim lol. do i hate her? also no, hate is such a strong feeling for someone i literally don’t know and never will.

all these one sided emotional attachments y’all have towards timothée are getting so fucking weird.

go out, live your lives, meet new people, find a hobby. life is so beautiful when your nose is not buried in your phone 24/7 worrying over what celebs are doing.

who he chooses to date does not change the admiration and respect i have for him. being this pressed over a man’s private life is not okay.
