Hello! I’m Rav! I’m ace, aro spec, and nonbinary! Pronouns are tricky but they/them is always safe.

I’ve been trying to figure out to best way to store my floss because I prefer floss drops to bobbins but floss drops are more difficult to store. One old binder (with zipper) lots of cutting and hole punching cardstock later and I’ve got a system that I think works! I’m using paper between layers to (hopefully) prevent tangles!

Each page holds 10 colors, and I’ve got 40 layers so it can store up to 400 colors right now!! Of course it remains to be seen if the binder is thick enough for that, but I can always search for a thicker binder if I ever get to that level.

I’d also like to get some thicker paper, or perhaps dividers to be a more sturdy option between the layers but for now old notebook paper is doing the job well enough.

my general opinion on what people should be "allowed" to portray and what topics they should be "allowed" to explore in fiction is that you can make whatever art with whatever themes you want but i'm also allowed to think the way you handled it was tasteless and should've been done differently. my negative opinion on your handling of sensitive topics is the price of admission for publicly showcasing your work. this is not a pro-censorship stance because i am not The Government

I’m starting “The Black Count” by Tom Reiss which is about Alex Dumas, the father of Alexandre Dumas and a general in the French Revolutionary army. Gonna learn why so many people stan Napoleon instead of this guy.

Anyway, very cool dude! I want his statue REPLACED since the nazis decided to melt down because he was black for scrap metal. Also I want a little sign under every statue or picture of Napoleon that just says “this guy sucked and General Dumas was better”.
