MY FIRST SOTW!!

The theme is musicals, specifically stage musicals like Broadway and such-

Now I have two drawings because I didn't know if my original drawing would work so the second is like an alternative choice-

First one is Sun and Dazzle having a father daughter moment with the song Under the Bamboo Tree from my favorite Judy Garland musical Meet Me in St. Louis. Now yes, this IS a movie musical, HOWEVER there are stage productions of it, at least small ones.

But if it doesn't count then the alternate choice is Folly as Anne Boleyn from SIX The Musical, the first ever musical I ever actually got really into.

So yeah! These are my first SOTW entries, I hope they picked, but if not then oh well. Always next time I guess lol.

You ever just rewatch Pucca and end up creating fan kids?

Anyways uhhhh mixed both og seasons and love recipe in terms of lore, but my main “canon” has

- Pucca is a “mini” deity (Buddhism thing don’t worry about it) to explain why the hell She Was Like That in season 1 and 2, so because of that, Daeshim inherits those powers!

- there were implications that Tobe did something to Garu’s family to explain their animosity, that’s canon for my AU

- the AU is Made For Fun Do Not Take What I say As Gospel

My sona and Darby are really the only characters I have, but should at least be something. So I added their refs and some artwork just to give a visualizer of their powers in action (I can't draw fights scenes well obviously TwT)

Brief explanation of abilities:

Darby Deericks- They control plants. So literally just Poison Ivy but deer lol.

Kat/my sona- Best way to describe Kat's powers is like telekinesis with a bit of earth manipulation, like earth bending so to speak.

Saw Onyx put template up for the event with Alice in Wonderland theme and saw my moment to use my Critter Sona-

Is it technically Alice Madness Returns themed? Maybe-

In my defense, I am incredibly mentally unwell over the American McGee Alice games and may have went a little silly- found inspiration for Alice's outfit in the game and also this dress design from that Niki outfit game or whatever it's called and went from there.

Symbols on the dress are Mercury and one of the apparently many symbols of Aether. I didn't know what others to put so yeah-

Also was gonna add the Hobby Horse weapon, but. That thing is so hard to fucking draw, there is a reason I became a cat girl and not a horse girl lmao-

But yeah that's it- enjoy my brief pop back into Space Riders before leaving the whimsy and going back to misery known as real life-
