I’m the empires s1 Shrub / Jimmy anon (now unanonymous, is that word ??) from a while ago. I would like to share some more of my thoughts on the ship with a message that I sent in a discord server. This is just copy and pasted;
Ok, so very rare ship because they never interacted in season 1, but empires s1 Shrub/Shubble x s1 Jimmy. Now hear me out, the way I view how their relationship would/could be is like the meme where it’s the taller person standing behind the shorter and shorter says ‘they asked for no pickles’. I like to think that they started talking cause of either Scott or Katherine, and slowly started giving each other tips on how to do certain things. Like, Shrub gives Jimmy tips on how to push the fear back and stand up to the demon/Xornoth and gives him advice on some of the mushrooms he’s got growing in the swamp that naturally spawn there. And Jimmy helps Shrub get over her fear of water and helps teach her how to swim. He also shows her how friendly the sea life can be, and gifts her a cod. Shrub in return gifts him a flower crown, and a protection charm she made for him all the people she considers her friends/family. And like as they finally get together they are so overprotective of each other, but also have so much faith that the other can protect themself.
writing is so funny because i could write nonstop for 9hrs and then hit a block where im like "how do i transition between this moment and the next?" and then i just dont touch it for 6 months
a feel like the new generation of fanfic readers NEED to understand that clicking on a fic (interaction) does nothing. ao3 has no algorithm. your private discord discussions of fic do not reach the authors. if you do not actively engage with writers they will stop posting. this isn’t social media this is community.

I work as a nurse at Al-Sahaba Medical in Gaza City.
My husband, Osama Dahdooh, is an accountant and training center manager, but his center was completely destroyed, and we lost our home as well.
Today, we are living in tents, enduring extremely harsh conditions without basic necessities.
My son, **Obaida**, suffers from chronic bronchitis and urgently needs a clean environment and medical care that is unavailable in Gaza.
In addition, all four of my children are suffering from severe psychological trauma due to the devastating situation.
My daughter, Farah, requires urgent psychiatric treatment and long-term therapy to heal and recover.
Why Do We Need Your Help?
Our goal is to raise **€100,000** to help us leave Gaza and start a new life in a safe country, where our children can continue their education and we can live with dignity.
