the files are all directly downloaded from this site, so there's no third party to worry about. i didn't make this site - it was created by PotentialAd943 on reddit, who claims they scanned their files clean before hosting. just to be sure, i scanned my pc after downloading too. it all came up clean! but it's good to be aware of pc safety, especially when pirating. it can't hurt to do a scan of your own to be sure!
how much pc knowledge do i need for this?
you should know how to download files, how to make and manage folders in file explorer, and how to navigate a program's settings menu.
any settings i should change in ryujinx?
here's some i recommend checking before starting the game:
for tomodachi life specifically, make sure you set a timezone in settings! you can have it match your pc's time for simplicity.
there are ostensibly keyboard controls, but they're a little wonky to figure out. if you can, plugging in any controller should work just fine. just make sure to select it in ryujinx's input settings! (you should also still be able to use your mouse for things like drawing facepaint!)
graphics settings will be on a per-pc basis, depending on your pc's strength. it's worth it to experiment with them and see what gives you the best performance. ryujinx will explain what each setting does if you hover over it!
the game crashed?
that's very likely to happen! on first time loading a scene, the emulator can sometimes struggle. it happened to me the first time i opened the mii editor, and the first time i opened the news station. you should be able to relaunch and everything will be fine. if it's happening super frequently, though, you may need to adjust your graphics or cpu settings!

A short comic, that came from how often Bertie is used and made a fool of in the books and series; of course this is a big comical pillar of J&W, but I started to think of how much it could weight on Bertie, and, after years of service and the deepening of their bond, on Jeeves. Hopefully the writing is decent enough, and I am sure I am not the first to explore such an idea. I will transcribe the text for easier viewing:

I've seen antis quite keen on commenting that Sebastian's going to eat Ciel's soul and then fuck right off like nothing's happened but my (not so) hottake is: Sebastian is going to be permanently affected by his experience with Ciel (even if I let go of my beautiful whimsical sebaciel). I know everyone hates Kuroshitsuji II with Alois, Claude and Hannah but I do think 'consuming' (whatever that means) Ciel's soul will leave him scarred in a way 'similar' to Hannah: not by guilt, not by sadness, but by something far worse: Boredom.
He doesn't get to play fun butler anymore. He's not cooking anymore. He's not teaching latin. He's not going above and beyond just to piss off a 13yo. Now every time there's a new contractor the wishes are back to the usual: immense wealth, eternal life, maybe back to financial consultant, etc. but that's it. He's doomed to go back to the Phantomhive Estate to form a memory of a distant past and try to make time go faster but he can't. (Nice meal I guess but now I'm forever broken ): )

bestie it’s not a problem—my ear is always open to kuro theories (at least as long as they’re not stupid, because claiming sebastian wouldn’t be affected by ciel’s death at all is like reading with your eyes closed and pretending he hasn’t changed at all over 35 volumes).
also, i don’t get why people hate kuro II—it was actually pretty fun, alois was a great character, and demon ciel was the cherry on top. like, sebastian literally could’ve tried to get out of his contract with ciel and didn’t? he chose to stay with him forever, even if he didn’t fully understand the feelings driving him? i’ll sit down and write more about this someday, because people need to learn to appreciate season two—they don’t know what they’re missing.
but back to your take. it took me a bit to reply, but family doesn’t visit itself.
i absolutely love the vision of sebastian being emotionally destroyed after consuming ciel. whether consumed by grief or emptiness—he has to be pathetic. shattered. without a place for himself. no contractor will ever come close to ciel, no role will ever feel fulfilling again. he’d be condemned to wander for hundreds of years, regretting that one decision he made. whether he understood the consequences or not—whether he wanted to respect ciel’s will, suppressed his feelings, or was simply unaware of them—he should suffer. ciel’s presence should carve irreversible, invisible wounds into him that will fester but never heal. a kind of pain that isn’t physical—but one sebastian would prefer that it was, because at least that would be easier to bear.
and at the same time, the idea that ciel would die but remain forever connected to sebastian, living within him, is strangely tender (even if, from an outside perspective, it’s terrifying).

sebastian would 100% become a prisoner of his own mind. i haven’t had the chance to analyze this deeply yet, but i wonder if “taking ciel into his body,” like sebastian proposed during the contract, would resemble something like hannah and luca's situation.

so when ciel dies, he will steal the soul away — not to consume it, but to keep it from the reapers, to prevent it from being taken from him. and instead of feeding, he will wander the earth like a stray dog, collar tight around his throat in the shape of the contract’s mark carved into his hand.
starving — yet unable, unwilling, to eat.
eternal agony is preferable to surrendering the last fragment of ciel that remains to him.
there are small things yana slips in that seem insignificant at first glance — and that is precisely why i adore her.
once again, sebastian shows how he cares for ciel, because there is no other explanation for him attempting to prepare an infusion meant to help recover from fatigue for anyone other than him.
for ciel — who supposedly irritates him — and yet for whom he will quietly do everything in his power to make him feel better.
