Something interesting from episode 2 of the Penguin is that Carmine Falcone really just let them lock up his daughter in Arkham. For a guy that literally ran the city he could've done anything. Stuck some random person in there, bribed some people, gotten her acquitted sooner. He could've afforded care in some way better hospital. Not that I think he's father of the year or anything, I find it intriguing that he let Alberto go off the rails and let his daughter get arrested, allowing them to bring notoriety and an air of incompetence to his family. Or maybe that was the powerplay, a demonstration that he didn't even care about his kids, much less enemies?
