So a year ago I was preparing for the biggest change I have ever made in my life...little did I know it. It was about a week before I started yoga teacher training, my husband had left me, I was living in a friend's music studio. I was 23 with no real world awareness no real job education or funtioning skills. Not to mention some very bad habits , emotional band aids, and a slue of questionable desiscion making. I remember reading this and how much these simple words spoke to me. I was terrified and anxious and insecure. I misused my imagination and missed the point that there was a whole other option to failure. And guess what? A year later. I thought out of my whole practice this was such a powerful mind body connection. I was doing vinyasa flow and had to push my ego aside and go into child's pose to re center. I thought for just a few breaths...i stayed there for minutes. Minutes. Didnt even notice the pups. Just a little ball of breath.
