Are the Wonderbolts a military or civilian organization? Based on my memory of the show and what I found on the wiki, they're kind of like the Blue Angels - technically part of Equestria's air force, but primarily working as performers. the role of propaganda in Celestia's regime is a matter for another post.

Does Fluttershy actually make money on her animal sanctuary thing? I figure it's probably a nonprofit that solicits donations, or she does petsitting and veterinary work on the side. Either way she is functionally self-employed imo.

Anything about Applejack - The Apples are not landlords as such, but they are independent farmers who operate a prominent orchard & are coded as (descendants of?) American Western Frontier homesteaders. In this regard Applejack's class position is absolutely defined by the fact that her family owns a large tract of land. Given that Rarity is a "self-made mare" whose posh mannerisms are more or less explicitly an affectation, Applejack may very well be the only "old rich" character of the Mane 6, even if her family's frugal tastes would suggest otherwise.
