I know we’re all talking about finally getting live action Ahsoka and that the general consensus seems to be that Rosario did a good job of capturing her mannerisms, but can we talk about Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth? She was a fantastic female villain! She wasn’t worried about looking pretty during their duel-she committed 100% to being feral, unhinged, and downright villainous and I loved it! 

I mean look at her evil smirk in these screen caps:

I feel like every female antagonist I have ever seen in the action drama is either an ice queen or sex kitten. Diana Lee Inosanto (and Rosario Dawson to a certain extent) wasn’t afraid to grunt, scream, grimace, or bare her teeth at her opponent; she wasn’t worried about looking sexy. And as a Star Wars fan who is generally frustrated by the lack of powerful women (good or evil) in live action Star Wars, I thought that Diana Lee Inosanto’s portrayal of Morgan Elsbeth was awesome.
