I think a lot about the way everything kris wears in the light world is hand-me-downs from their brother. being pushed into a very masculine style of dress (albeit, likely not intentionally by toriel, so much as their refusal to put their foot down or stick up for themself). I think about the way they're made to put on the (incredibly masculine, button up) dress shirt to go to church (which, although not being christian, is nonetheless not a neutral action devoid of context to do to your trans kid and their new friend). I think about kris seeing their dark world bedroom for the first time, their first thought being "you could wear whatever you wanted." and I think about this line, when the fancy church clothes come off
kris dreemurr might be the most transfem fictional teen to ever do it
I really like fem non binary Kris readings.
