âAriel who? Youâre the superior mermaid. Itâs official, they should make a movie about you.â

âDid I t- NO I didnât TOUCH it! It was DEAD, and had been in my catâs mouth for god only knows how long. I picked it up with a paper towel and threw it away.â
âI see, I see. What type of cat do you have?â
âSo my lesson learned today is not to leave my kids unsupervised with glitter. Not even for a second. I⊠think I got most of it out of my hair? Mind giving me a second opinion on that?â
âI mean, whatâs wrong with glitter in your hair anyways? Itâs cute!â
âso, i found this really cool stall where you had to shoot all of the cans down and you get a prize if you can do it, but i couldnât do it at all! i tried really hard, and i spent like twenty dollars on more tries. in the end, the nice man at the stall just gave me a prize anyway! isnât it cute?â
âitâs cute! i love bears, i have so many teddy bears at home. my room is filled with them. did you name it yet?
âYou know, Iâve never actually eaten corndogs before. Is it worth trying?â
âThe last time Iâve had one was when I was very young, so I donât remember how it tastes. I donât think itâs such a big thing, though. You can live without it.â
âMy cat brought me a dead lizard today, and someone said it was because she thinks iâm a stupid animal that canât hunt. I donât know if I should be flattered or repulsed.â
âI have a cat too, but Iâve never been brought a dead anything. I donât know if thatâs normal or not. What did you do with the dead lizard, though? Did you touch it?â
âYou know, I really miss my girls from the dance studio. Itâs been so long and honestly Iâm starting to think coming back to Brighton may have been a mistake.â
âYou should hang out with them soon, then. Maybe even leave Brighton if you really donât like it here?â

the last time chaewon had actually seen lily was a solid three years ago. now she didnât want to burst her happy bubble of happy thoughts, but the last time she saw her was also the time of the spaghetti incident, and that was still one of the only two secrets she kept from her. other than that, the two were like peas in a pod, they knew each other inside out. with all her necessary belongings in her rucksack the young woman found her way towards the otherâs place and she couldnât help but feel jealous at the surroundings, it was already much better than her neighbourhood. she bit back and decided to quicken her pace. the door was already in her sight and with the few last steps sheâd walk with a little hop, as her excitement couldnât be contained anymore. her hands knocked a simple beat on the wooden door and waited for the sound of someone walking towards the entrance. when she grew impatient, the girl decided to step up a notch. âLILY! are you taking a nap or something? i know youâre in there!â
@lilyjun
lily couldnât wait for her best friend to come over. she'd been looking forward to this all day, she couldn't even sleep the night before. chaewon was one of her closest friends, and being separated for three years didn't change that. she loved chae like a sister and couldn't hold in her excitement to see her again. earlier that day she went to the store and bought all the junkfood in sight, she also got drinks and rented some dvds. when she came back home she put all the pillows and blankets in the living room. hearing a knock on the door made lily jump, she didn't realize how much time had passed. she ran to the bathroom to check her makeup, and laughed hearing her friend's words. she skipped over to the door with a wide grin and took a deep breath in before turning the knob, "chaebae!!!!!!!" she quickly hugged the other girl and tugged her inside, "i missed you so much! how've you been?" âThere was this one time at Lilyâs house where I was just looking for a t-shirt she offered since I canât eat spaghetti like a normal person, and I accidentally opened a drawer where all her bras were stored in. Not to be a pervert, but some were cute. I swear I didnât meant to, though. Donât tell Lily.â

âNot a problem at all,â he waved it off, turning to set the cup of coffee down on the counter after he added milk and sugar to it.  Bending down to get two chocolate rolls, he set them down on a plate next to the cup. âSounds like a great way to spend the day. I have to work till twelve, started the early shift,â Jace explained before typing her order into the system. âThatâs gonna be $4,50, please.â
Lily took out a five dollar bill and handed it to the boy, âKeep the change.â She picked up the cup of coffee and took a sip, âHow do you always manage to make the best coffee? You make it better than I do.â She smiled, âYou mean twelve as in noon, not midnight right?â A joke of course, she just couldnât help playing around with the other boy.
Every day itâs getting one day closer until the premiere of Suicide Squad, my only problem is that I still havenât been able to find anyone to go with. You donât think itâd be too odd if I went all dressed up by myself, do you? I mean Iâm sure there will be plenty other people who will, Iâm just nervous that everyoneâs already going to have their âsquad.â
Whatâs Suicide Squad?
âSo this may be a really dumb question. But do you watch Big Brother? Because I decided to watch it this season and I want to talk to someone about who I donât like.â
âI don't, but I'm guessing it's about big brothers?"
âTwo chocolate rolls and one coffee coming right up,â he chimed, giving the girl a grin. Perhaps that was the thing he enjoyed most about his job, he was often met with familiar faces and when he had some time in between baking he was able to chat with them. Turning to start up the coffee machine, he glanced over his shoulder briefly. âSo what are you up to today, hm?â
âThanks!â Lily smiled warmly back at the boy. She pulled out her wallet, getting ready to pay for her order. âToday is just going to be me shopping around town, Iâm probably going to be broke by the third store I visit," she joked. "When do you get off work?â
It was still fairly early, the boy having just opened the bakery only to have multiple people already dropping in one by one. People often would start their mornings there, drinking a cup of coffee and enjoying a freshly baked good, whether itâd be bread of sorts or pastries. His mood was considerable good, a content smile on his face as he greeted a person that had just entered. âAnything I can help you with today? I actually just finished baking so chocolate rolls. All freshly baked, molten chocolate inside. Itâs definitely some good stuff!â
Lily had woken up early, which was not rare, and went to the bakery because there was nothing except water in her kitchen. She was planning to go grocery shopping and then go shop for clothes after getting something to eat. As she walked into the bakery, she felt her stomach growl. She greeted the boy with a smile, âJace! My man. Yea get me two, bro. Also, one coffee with a lot of milk and sugar in it.â
Upon hearing the endearing, familiar voice, a smile managed to find its way across Kyoâs face. Not many people were able to accomplish such a feat, making Kyo grin, but Lily was and had definitely been on that list for quite a while. âIn my defense, I wasnât even aware of the fact I was coming back until, like, five days ago? Plus, you have an actual functioning brain, so shut up about that,â he stated with a smirk. âPiece of poop? Wow, Iâm hurt. What a way to great your best friend.â
âYouâre forgiven, only because I have a kind heart. Are you sure I have an actual functioning brain? I think only one of us has one and that definitely isnât me,â she smirked. Lily missed Kyo more than she could ever admit. Itâs been a while and she was overjoyed to see her best friend once again. She moved closer to the boy and gave him a small hug, âYouâre a piece of poop, but youâre my piece of poop. Youâre my favorite.â Lily stepped back and put her hands on her hips, âSo, you need help putting these boxes in or what? Or do we have to watch these guys not do their jobs properly?â
âIâm positive that the advertisement stated something about professionals, but I guess I was mistaken,â Kyo stated with a sigh as the movers set down yet another box that was unable to fit through the front door. âPlus itâs not like I told them the box wouldnât fit or anything. Absolute idiots, the whole lot.â Turning around, Kyo crossed his arms and grunted in annoyance. âI canât handle this. I need someone with an actual functioning brain, stat.â
âKang Raekyo. Calm down. Itâs not the end of the world. Youâll figure this out, okay? Iâd help you, but I donât have an actual functioning brain. Youâre a piece of poop, I donât know how I deal with you. The first thing you do when you come back is complain? You donât even call telling me that youâre here? Rude. I see how it is.â
