Hey quick question: why the FUCK do you have that
Imagine, from out of nowhere, your dm casually slapping this thing down on the table like any other encounter.
āYeah, the fight will start in a sec, uhā¦Iāll give inspiration to whomever helps me get this fucking box out of my car.ā

always ALWAYS reblog Y'gathok!
And this causes children to be perceived as failures (either by themselves, their parents and/or society at large) when they are not successful according to the logic of capital. It's one of many ways capitalism has commodified our relationships.
Engels expressed the general idea of this in "The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State"
Zionists having a meltdown over this Nick Kristof NYT article and calling it a mouth piece for Hamas is hilarious because this is literally the NYT staff
Source
The New York Times is deeply committed to upholding Zionism that about 20 of their high ranking editors, executives, journalists are either former IDF or literally living in stolen Palestinian property.
This dossier is worth digging into if you wanna know who they all are
Fuck the NYT but watching Zionists lose their shit because even their own paper is calling out the sexual violence Palestinian prisoners have faced by Israeli authorities
A few weeks ago, an article was published by the right-wing tabloid the Daily Mail, claiming that Palestinians were sexually extorted by Hamas for food and etc. The source in question is dubious, because the Palestinians were anonymous and no actual investigation were made. All of it were derived from secondary sources and no confirmation existed except for some vague testimonies. Hardly anything reliable. In fact, the Daily Mail lacks so much credibility that even Wikipedia considers it an unreliable source and dedicated an entire section explaining why. But Zionists were more than happy to eat that shit up like no tomorrow, readily embracing it as "proof" that Hamas had committed such acts. Like eating bread crumbs from the floor, they desperately sought for anything that would tarnish the image of the resistance and justify the genocide.
BUT the moment the NYTimes posted an op-ed about the sexual violence committed against Palestinian, something that has been reported by various human rights organizations (and let's not forget the Right to Rape protest in 2024 in Sde Teiman), every single Jewish Zionist took to the streets to yell Blood Libel as always.
Rules for thee, not for me.
Just spent some time digging through the dossier linked above. The false claims and racist opinions stated as facts spotlight a deficit of morality and ethics. But we knew that.
I want to highlight one by Thomas Friedman, the Jerusalem bureau chief for The Times from 1984 to 1988 (he has also worked as a foreign affairs columnist for the opinion page since 1995). This quote comes from an opinion piece written in 2024 titled "Understanding the Middle East Through the Animal Kingdom."
"The U.S. is like an old lion. We are still the king of the Middle East jungle ā more powerful than any single actor, but we have so many scars from so many fights that we just canāt just show up, roar loudly and expect that everyone will do what we want or scamper away. We are one tired lion, and thatās why other predators are no longer afraid to test us.
Iran is to geopolitics what a recently discovered species of parasitoid wasp is to nature. What does this parasitoid wasp do? According to Science Daily, the wasp āinjects its eggs into live caterpillars, and the baby wasp larvae slowly eat the caterpillar from the inside out, bursting out once they have eaten their fill.ā
Is there a better description of Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Iraq today? They are the caterpillars. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is the wasp. The Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas and Kataib Hezbollah are the eggs that hatch inside the host ā Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Iraq ā and eat it from the inside out.
We have no counterstrategy that safely and efficiently kills the wasp without setting fire to the whole jungle."
There is no justification that can be given for such statements, and no justification that can be given for an organization that continues to elevate Zionists to the highest ranks of the company.
I'm fucking disgusted
but ykw at least i'm not on mount everest. at least i'm not paying tens of thousands of dollars to slowly suffocate in a 300-person line at the gates of hell. never in my life will i have to be steered in a hypoxic stupor through the maze of poop and corpses atop mount everest. on this earth a lot of horrible things can happen to you without your permission but there are a few that you have to opt into. you can just say no thanks! and be guaranteed never to have to be on mount everest. much to be grateful for actually
still not on mount everest this morning š alhamdulillah

i saw someone say nobody needs to know what a .txt file is anymore. what the fuck is the world coming to
unironically i think we need to bring back computer labs because APPARENTLY some people WERENT taught basic computer literacy and internet safety in school
things about computers/the internet i think kids should be formally taught in schools because theyre important to know and the amount of soon to be grown adults i know who know NOTHING about any of these is quite frankly almost all of them (and resources to learn if you dont know these things, because its never to late to get better with computers)
how to troubleshoot by yourself when you have a technical problem
what common file types are
some very basics on how to use ""developer tools"" on your computer (because i cant think of a better way to refer to them) like task manager and command prompt (and their mac equivalents, terminal and activity monitor ofc)
how to read and understand a privacy policy and what your personal data is, as well as what it being collected actually means and steps you can take to keep it private
how to understand terms of service (hey. if you have trouble with reading legalese and worry about being able to understand these policies anyways, here's a site that gives basic summaries of privacy policies and ToS)
what a cookie actually is
internet privacy and your digital footprint!! seriously i dont know why we stopped teaching people that they shouldnt be putting their entire real identity online in a world where your online actions can ruin you irl
basic safety measures like antivirus software (and why you should use it or if the built in one on windows or mac is enough for you) and backing up your computer (also a mac guide)
common keyboard shortcuts (and on mac)
as an additional note: things i think everyone should know on computers and the internet but schools may bit hesitant to teach about for whatever moral/legal standards schools pretend to operate on
vpns and adblockers! (btw for most of these where you can pay for things im purposefully not recommending any specific software but seriously just use ublock origin for an adblocker)
how to not get a virus while pirating something
what a temporary email is and when to use one
red flags that you shouldn't trust a website (and how to quickly check the security of a site)
what javascript on a website does and how to disable it to get around paywalls
ok one last addition! if you want to take it one level higher, i think learning the very basics of at least one programming language is good for people. it makes computers less scary and it makes you feel very cool, and a lot of people get discouraged about it because it seems overly complicated and hard to learn outside a formal classroom setting, so heres some resources for learning the very basics of python (because i consider it the easiest language to learn and knowing one language will make it easier to learn others)
an online compiler so you dont need to download anything or worry about running code directly on your computer if that makes you nervous
a basic video guide to introduce you to python and walk you through beginner steps
a guide to some syntax and commands you should know (this was literally my lifeline in my first CS class)
some performance tasks to give you things to code to practice and assess yourself
āThere arenāt enough hours in a day.ā There are actually. The problem is that we think 40 hour work weeks are an unavoidable fact of life.
The problem is that everyone has to work 8 hours, pretty much no exceptions, and with getting ready time + (unpaid) lunch + commute, ā8 hoursā is actually anywhere between 9 and 12, every single day, with more work to do when you get home because our society and culture was built around having one member of the household home full time and nothing has changed now that almost everyone works.
No wonder Americans are reliant on DoorDash and fast food, thereās no time or energy to cook. No one wonder mental and physical health are in shambles, many just spent all day sitting in fluorescent lights with little to no stimulation. āJust wake up earlierā āJust meal prepā⦠these are ok short-term, individual solutions, but the broader, systemic issue is obvious. We arenāt built for this. Thereās no work-life balance. Genuinely, I think if our culture could normalize a shorter work week, many individualsā biggest problems would simply evaporate.
you dont have to be a parent to understand the horror of walking into a room to discover that the baby crawled out of his crib and onto that pottery wheel you forgot to turn off, and while the baby is spinning around and around, the dog is sitting there all calm, like a person, gently using his paws to fashion the babys soft cartilage head into something a little more modern.Ā it might be the classic tale of bad parenting, but lets see where the dog is going with this
This isn't Greta Thunbergās fault, she couldnāt have been a better ally, but itās so disheartening how her kidnapping and mistreatment for five days have rallied so many people, when what she went through is only a fraction of a fraction of what thousands of Palestinian men, women, girls, and boys, who have been routinely kidnapped, tortured, and raped to unimaginably evil lengths for months or even years, often to the point of death, have endured and are still enduring as we speak.
And I know thatās the whole point of why she did what she did. She knew that, as a young high-profile white European girl, her mistreatment would result in more uproar, and she intended to use that privilege to raise awareness of what is happening to Palestinians. Thatās why the first thing she did after her release, when the press asked her to speak in detail about her own mistreatment, was to shift the conversation instead to how Israel continues to escalate its genocide against Palestinians.
I just wish people understood her message and gave the same energy toward helping Palestinians without waiting for a White Westerner to risk their life first.
