(Quick intro/pinned post, will probably update later)
I donât have a set nickname right now so just call me Z. Iâll be using this blog to talk about & engage with parts of my life that donât ever feel âvalid enoughâ to really talk about with my whole chest. More on that below the cut. Post with tags is also below the cut!
If youâre a fan of policing labels and identities you probably wonât like me much, just block me and move on. Terfs and other bigots are not welcome here either.
Regarding not feeling âvalid enough,â with some of these, I feel like I almost or just barely fit the criteria. Anecdotes are often relatable and eye-opening, but itâs never âthat badâ to feel like Iâm allowed to align with those experiences out loud. Whether this invalidity is objective truth or my own immense self-doubt talking, I donât know, thus this disclaimer. The things I am more sure of, these too carry a sort of âthere/not-thereâ sort of liminal weight to them, but these are more comfortable considering, yâknow, Iâm more sure about them.
Hopefully that elaboration wasnât too confusing. Anyway, hereâs some those liminal aspects of myself:
My gender and sexuality. The things Iâm most sure about. Iâm like if genderfluid was evaporated into a gas and formed a gas giant, with a core made of denser, slower moving genders on the agender spectrum and an atmosphere of swiftly changing genders of all descriptions that mix and whirl together in currents and eddies. Iâm also demi-abrosexual & quoiromantic.
My neurodivergence. I have no professional diagnoses but am medicated for anxiety and depression. Beyond that Iâve noticed traits seen in some people with autism, ADHD, major depressive disorder, OCD, general anxiety disorder, and PMDD (not strictly mental but wow). Oh also I definitely have trauma.
My plurality. I strongly believe part of this is due to trauma but because Iâm not 100% sure about that or plurality in general I consider myself endogenic at least in part. I think I may be a median system of some sort, and covert on top of that. Iâm familiar with some headmates now but thereâs more Iâm pretty sure.
My humanity. Iâve always felt not quite human, though what exactly that means varies. Shapeshifters, zombies, and godhood have all felt familiar to me in a way, among other less-prominent things.
Thatâs all I can think to add for now. I might make a few posts for blinkies/usertags/stamps/whatever I like and link them here (vs putting them here as is since lots of them have flashing lights) and whatever other posts are important enough to warrant being pinned.
If you have any questions or just wanna chat let me know! My only rules are donât hit on me, donât be rude, and donât DM me if youâre a minor (replies & asks are okay).

Okay I have a rough set of tags Iâm gonna try to use regularly to make it easier for folks (and me) to browse my posts. Iâll talk more about
i'm probably going to sound very stupid but if at least one being finds what i'm about to say useful, it's worth it.
so, i'm a shapeshifter. i mimic, i become things, my identity is fluid and so on and so forth. but i'm so preoccupied with finding out if there are any "solid" identities beside (or within) it that i've never actually asked myself a very simple question: who do i want to be?
it's so funny considering that it's common knowledge that the main strength of shape-shifting folk is becoming whatever they wish to be.
so, in case there is someone who's also getting lost in restlessly trying to find at least some kind of stable identity - try pausing and asking yourself this question. being fluid and not sticking to one thing can feel like an incredible weakness, but don't forget about the strength you possess - the strength to choose who you want to be.
Recently thinking about my theriotypes and some of them no longer feel like me, I feel disconnected. Some of them brought me alot of comfort or felt fitting for a period of time. Sometimes I think as phycological therian that my brain will adopt identities for a period of time and used them for a purpose or reason but then move on once I no longer need it. I hope this makes sense, does anyone else get this? ( I'm still and always will be a therian and some of my Theriotypes are very much perminent fixtures and others aren't it just depends)

Iâve got both creatural and humanoid âtypes so Iâd say so, yeah. Zombie shifts can be behavioral & mental (slowed movement, mumbled & slurred speech plus groaning/moaning/growling) but also sometimes not looking corpse-like bugs me. Not-human (human mimic) shifts are mostly mental. Iâm not sure how to describe the mindset though. Itâs wishing people could see me as I am and be disturbed by how almost human (but not quite) I look
everyone deserve autonomy , respect , and comfort , even if identity is strange , incomprehensible , or " logistically impossible " to others .
do not try to assume feelings of distress or dangerous actions , just on basis that identity is strange - strangeness alone is not equivalent to distress or danger .
learn what support look like , and how to include in community , so to best ability minimise damages of potential distress or danger .
should trust in individuals to know limits , needs , and safety - and only step in with support tactics if there is clear signs of distress , danger , or catastrophic loss of judgment .
post title is silly , but this is all genuine to what kossai feel about community - and in fact , apply to all alterhuman umbrella identities . remember :
objectkin identity is logistically impossible to some , but what others think do not make feelings and experiences less real .
alterhumanity in general is often strange to outsiders , with misconceptions of danger .
exclusion hurt everyone , especially those already at risk . why make life harder ?
" strange " folks need friends , not helicopter parents .
