So stats wise, she has a LOT of stiffness, meaning how much stress she can be put under before breaking. She's pretty sharp, and that's going to be amplified by the self-sharpening Damascus steel. She's not very fast, BUT she's very manouverable (or however you spell that), which is very good for Skipper's environment- where there are taut ropes everywhere that you don't want to cut. The extra handling helps him avoid those!

Nooooo.... Ok, if you get Ace bandages and nonstick bandage pads, probably a larger size, then you can use the Ace bandage to hold the nonstick pad on. Or if you have them, you can use a menstrual pad and just stick that to the Ace. If the bandage isn't stuck to your skin then it can't rip anything off

I asked my mom if we had any gauze and she pointed me to some surgical dressing we have, but I didn't see any medical tape so it's currently painters' taped to my leg. But I asked my wife to pick me up some antiseptic spray and gauze pads and such on her way home, so it's just a temporary measure for now
