Part One should be between 13-16 chapters, each chapter being between 2k and 4k words. It's the whole movie re-written from Kai's point of view with added scenes and details, a few things are changed (such as dialogues) and of course there is also the presence of Thia which heavily impacts the plot.
This fic will heavily focus on the plot from Kai's point of view, the romance being sub plot and slow burn. It's unrequited love until either the end of part two or part three (still not decided). Kai's backstory and homeworld will be explored!

I just finished and published Chapter 1 of "Kind For You."
I wanted to thank everybody for all the attention that it has gotten.

âTime for a proper Hogwarts welcomeâŠâ Sebastian greeted with a chuckle and both boys went opposite ways to stand their place for a duel.
âNow, I want a fair duel using only Levioso, Basic Cast, and ProtegoâŠYou may beginâ
Sebastian was getting intrigued by the new student. As they both took their stance, he saw the focus and determination in the boyâs hazel eyes. The type of concentration that looks like avoidance or maybe ignorance of the pressure forming from the cheering students beside them.
âThis should be easyâ Sebastian grinned and with that, he shot Levioso first towards Edwart but he was ready. Quickly used Protego and shot back at Sebastian causing him to float above the tables they were standing on. Edwart quickly shot the basic cast 4 times at Sebastian causing him to fall.
âHm..Well maybe not as easyâŠâ Sebastian thought to himself âGood formâ Sebastian beamed as he got up
But the new fifth year didn't care to respond to Sebastin's flirtatious behavior. They both dueled a few back and forth.
âProtego? That complicates thingsâ
Sebastian kept talking while Edwart was keeping silent, more of a man of action not a word. Then finally after a bunch of fast attacks from Edwart, Sebastian fell off the table with a grunt.
Sebastian got up brushing any dust off his robes and looking at his friend, Ominis trying to bite down his smirk.Â
âLuckyâŠâ He scoffed with a forming smile in the corner of his face
âNothing lucky about it!â Edwart finally spoke back to Sebastian. Getting down from the table and heading towards Professor HecatÂ
âOh! He speaks!â Sebastian grinned which earned him an eye roll from Edwart
âNot bad for a beginner. And here I thought Hufflepuffs were supposed to be kind! You give as good as you get.âÂ
With that Sebastian chuckled and walked to the side waiting for Edwart to head out after talking with Professor Hecat.Â
âWhat was that?â He thought to himself, he had never seen anybody move that quickly with a wand. Now Sebastian wanted to get to know that student. âHe not only seems extremely compelling but also could prove usefulâŠâ Sebastian thought.
ââŠPerhaps Mr Sallow will have some ideas for you.â Professor Hecat proposedÂ
âGreat,â Edwart thought âThat Sallow guy sounds like trouble or a headache. Can't decide which one just yetâŠâ
âAgainâ
 That brought the student down to not get caught up in his thoughts again
âWell done today. I shall reach out soon with additional assignments.â
â..Class dismissedâ he heard Professor Hecat say but his mind was already gone on where he should head next.
âGood job on beating Sebastianâ He heard a calm, collected, and a little snappy voice behind him, but when Edwart turned around he didn't notice anyone looking at him.Â
âWell, that was strangeâŠâ Edwart thought and kept walking towards the classroom exit but someone stopped him again.
âNice workâ Sebastian spoke with a smile
âOh. Erm..â Edwart not sure what to say decided to just play it of nonchalantly maybe then Sebastian would leave him be quicker not that he found Sebastian obnoxious. He just knew his type: loud-mouth bastard that would lead him into trouble, someone not worth Edwartâs trust even... âI enjoyed thatâ Edwart finally spoke.
âThat duel was quite something. Everyone'll be talking about itâ Sebastian beamed again
âUgh great⊠More unneeded attention. Just what I needâ Edwart answered in his head
Edwart just politely nodded with a small scowl growing on his lips
âIt uh-â Edwart stumbled âWas centrally a good practiceâ
âPractice? It felt more like I was duelling an expert. Sebastian Sallow. by the wayâ Sebastian added with glee.
âEdwartâ He answered flatly
âEdwart⊠what?â Sebastian asked curiously
Ed swallowed thickly wondering why everybody cared so much for knowing his second name like It's supposed to be known or held with respect. There were still many things Edwart didn't understand about this new magical world he was thrown into. Why did his second name matter this muchâŠ
âErmâŠ.â After a bit of hesitation, Edwart answered reluctantly âThompsonâ
âHmm Didn't expect a new student to be so deft with a wand.âSebastian continued not bothering with his hesitationÂ
Deep down Edwart was glad Sebastian decided to drop this topic. not something many people did. Most people see him as a sensation who has interesting stories about why he joined Hogwarts this late and what happened with that dragon.
âThen againâ Sebastian added, âPerhaps this wasn't your first duel.â
âI've dueled enough. Consider yourself lucky I held back.â Edwart answered with a small cheeky smile
âHa! Fair enough. You owe me an honest duel when you aren'tâ Sebastian answered with a satisfied smileÂ
âYou know. you might be a perfect fit for a certain exclusive unsanctioned dueling organisationâ
âAhhh⊠There it isâ Edwart thought to himself âThat getting into trouble partâ
âUnsanctioned? What do you mean by that?â Edwart asked suspiciously
âIt means that school faculty don't know about it. But there's nothing to worry about. Teachers near never go to the clock tower. They have no business there.â
It took a minute for Edwart to think of an answer. It technically could help him practise as Professor Hecat mentioned. But on the other hand, if the faculty doesn't know of it. There's a chance of getting in trouble.
Sebastian interrupted Edwarts train of thoughts and âwhat ifsâ with persuasive arguments about his school work which Edwart hated to admit⊠worked.
âWeâll seeâ is what Edwart answered âNow is there a chance you are also in Charms class? Could you assist me there?âÂ
, I am conflicted, about what to think about the new student.â Sebastian was lost in thoughts. He was leading Edwart to Charms class. At first, Sebastian tried to small talk to the new student but he was unyielding when it came to talking. He talked when he had to interact with others but he rarely kept the talk going.
Sebastian also fully noted how tense the new student became at the simple question of his surname. If Sebastian wanted to get to know the new student he had to try harder. There was something about Edwart that kept Sebastian intriguedâŠ
âYou donât talk much do you pretty boy?â Sebastian teased hoping it would catch Edwarts attention.
And surprisingly it worked.
âWha-â Edwart did a double take âWhat did you just call me?â he asked confused
âOh so you do speakâ Sebastian lifted an eyebrow âYou would get along great with my friend.â
âOkay?â Edwart asked again visibly confusedÂ
âYou know with all that act you're doingâ Sebastian added
âWhat act-â Edwart stopped hoping for an explanationÂ
âOh and look! Here we are! Right on time too!â Sebastian interrupted Edwart and entered the classroom.
âWell, this is charms class go get yourself a seat. Have fun, pretty boy.â Then Sebastian stepped away from the new student heading to sit with Ominis.
He sat down and Ominis instantly started questioning him
âWhat did you do?â Ominis asked with a bored expression and a lifted eyebrow.
âMe? I didn't do anything. I just pushed the new student a little so he can get more settledâ Sebastian beamedÂ
Ominis best to his ability rolled his sightless eyes.
âThat Natsai Onai is already talking his ear off. Looks like I was right. He just needed a little pushâŠâ Sebastian smiled
