Size does not matter

Growing up I used to the think the number of friends the more people you have to support you, understand, and stand by your side. BOY WAS I WRONG. Had to learn the hard way to figure that out. The more friends I had the better . but boy was I wrong about that one. As I got to the ripe age of 23..... lol. I realized some of the most loyal friends you can find in your family members. At a time where I did not know me when I did not know who I was anymore. Making everyone else happy before myself. Going along with whatever my friends at the time wanted. I began to surround myself with people that I knew no matter what will have my back. when I am don they will help pick me back up. They will continue to uplift me.  As I began to surround myself with these kinds of people. I started to understand myself more. Figuring out what is important to me. “As I age, I am not willing to compromise. I know and love me a lot more.” -T.L House

Let's Get Sheet Faced

Recently I have notice my face is breaking out and there are even tones and dry patches everywhere. Over all I just don't like how my skin feels. I went out to ULTA today to get some products for my face. I found "I Dew Care." It is a 14 day sheet mask set. Everyday I place on a sheet mask. Which to me sounds like found and a lot of pampering!!! I'm excited!

Book Pre-Review

It is finally here! Tamora Pierce’s newest book Tempests and Slaughter is here! This book is about a character near and dear to many of her long time fans - Arram Draper aka Numair from The Immortals. When we meet him in The Immortals series he has already shed his past identity and while we do get some insight into who he was, his past was never fully explored. Three years ago I was lucky enough to have meet Tamora Pierce - who if I haven’t mentioned before is my FAVORITE AUTHOR EVER - and she read a small excerpt from these books. At that point I think it was originally just going to be one book, and what I heard made me excited for the rest. Personally Numair was the character who set most of my standards for the guys I date, and the SECOND the book went on sale this past Tuesday I went directly to my local Barnes and Noble as soon as I got off work. I haven’t yet had a full day to do nothing but sit and read - which I feel is necessary for any new Pierce book - but tomorrow that is exactly what I plan on doing. I will upload a review sometime next week then, with what I thought of the book, but I have very high hopes and honestly cannot wait for tomorrow!!

January Book Reads

My first reads of 2018. It's a bit late but I am currently enjoying reading these two. Usually I'm not into teen romance, but this one is really good. Can't wait to see how it ends. I love the first in the Ever serious spool of COURSE I have to read the next one. Even though I'm late since it came out last year.
