I also love in the comments about how “if you don’t like it, you don’t have to watch it.”  Haha, cuz so many of us don’t like OR watch it anymore.  And I’m pretty sure that’s a problem considering that any TV show is a moneymaking venture that gauges its viability by ratings.

Sin,I can't believe that I'm till fangirling over that Mash hug in the promo when I was telling msyelf I've moved on.I just find it hilarious that all thrugh thi season Bash has been acting like acomplete jer to his own wife yet he's still compassionate and comforting to Mary someone he's basically ignored all this time and now that she has bene having an affair with Conde and ''making Fransis suffer''(accoridng to the fraries's POV0.

TBH I haven’t watched it since about episode 3, except in bits and pieces or to read a few recaps to keep up with the basic story (which further convinced me that it was not something I wanted to waste the time to actually watch).  So if Bash has been a jerk…whatever. That’s just another fumble in characterization by writers who don’t seem to get how human beings actually work. This whole season has apparently torpedoed everything good it had going last year.  Honestly, what they’ve done defies all logic. I hated what they did to Mary and Bash last year, but what they’ve done with Francis and Mary this year makes even LESS sense.  And I’m saying this as a true-blue Mash shipper.    

If they were better writers, they might have let Francis and Mary’s bond be tenuous and built over time, tested by her friendship (and perhaps, attraction) to his dashing illegitimate brother and his frailty…and let the real tragedy of her story be her coming to understand how deeply she loves him at the brink of losing him.  And then let her grieve with the only other person who understands her loss and shares it: Bash.

But what do I know? lol.

Oh dear you’ve really missed the point of Mabastian and its shippers haven’t you?  Bash and Mary want each other to be happy and it pains them to see each other’s hurt.  And FINALLY we get to see a little bit of this on screen.

So please don’t hate on Bash,  he’s been Frary’s biggest supporter all season.

I love Bash. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again. I support Bash and Mary as loyal and wonderful friends. But the romance between is what I don’t support.

And some Mash supporters are complete jerks.

I only ever read the first book in this series but I suddenly have a newfound need to read the next ones and an inexplicable burning desire to give audiobooks a try.

Anyhow, about Ramse...

Ramse’s been helping the 12 monkeys, but I’m still not convinced he’s “the Witness.” Kinda think that title belongs to Olivia’s father (here’s an out there idea: the Witness is Jones’ ex-husband and Olivia is actually her daughter Hannah? ha. that would be wild. Or Sam is the Witness and Olivia is Ramse’s granddaughter? lol Ok I’ll stop.) and there were hints that Ramse doesn’t quiiiiiite align perfectly with the 12 monkeys. (”I thought my future was my own.” and Cole saying, “You’re a good man in any reality.”)  And also when Jennifer talks to him in 2043, she says that he’s a good friend and that they need to try to undo what he, she, and Cole have done.  She mentions the Witness but it doesn’t seem like she’s saying HE is the Witness. 

And why would Ramse want to come to hallucinating Cassie wearing a plague mask?

I have the belief that somehow, Ramse becomes...maybe not a friend again.  He (and Cole) have been so fundamentally changed that I don’t think they could just revert back to that camaraderie.  But an ally? 

I still have hope for Ramse.
