I love the little silly things the pokemon will do while just hanging out in Pokopia.

I spotted Pidgeot inside a tunnel near their habitat with a "It's pretty dark here" speech bubble over their head. Which, yeah, obviously. But then they walked out of the tunnel, and made the happy music-note noise they do when their surroundings get better.

I've also spotted Pidgeot in this area with a "It's gotten brighter!" bubble several times, so I'm not sure if this is just a ritual at this point.

So, to summarize: Today, Pidgeot learned that tunnels are dark, and decided that they like it better outside. Could be a ritual; further observations are needed.

Nothing makes me feel like my brain is only there to keep my skull from caving in on itself like watching and following tutorials on something I really, really want to learn how to do, and then still not having any idea what do do or where to start.

I made these two bats a long time ago when I relized that there were these random hooks here and there in my apartment (it’s an old building, who knows what was hanging in that doorway at one point?) and I thought it would be funny to have bats hanging from them. But eventually I put them on one of my wall decorations.

They have little pieces of velcro holding their wings together, and their feet are made of wire wrapped in yarn.

I’ve been meaning to decorate the boxes in my Kallax shelf for years and finally got the energy to do so. At least the white ones.

The fabric pens I used bled a little here and there but if it ends up bothering me, I can just fix it with some white paint.

Scrolling the For You page is always an experience. It doesn't really seem to have any rhyme or reason for things that show up there, and now and then it seems to think the things you scroll past are the things you want to see more of, and not the posts you stop to read.

I'm looking at cat videos, crochet stuff (which also seems to attract a lot of yarn spinning posts), and the occasional fandom post. But then. randomly.

After finishing my craft project left my hands in need of a rest, I picked up Dragon Quest Builders 2 again.

I love this game so much. I’m going to try to recreate Midenhall castle on my island, and I hope I can get at least the outer walls done before I lose steam this time.

IT. IS. DONE. My Surprise! Color Explosion! messenger bag is finished!

It still needs a shoulderstrap, but the sewing part of the project is done, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It has a zipper pocket on the front interior, two magnetic locks, and the embroideries on the front are handmade.

I used the Mina Messenger Bag pattern by YoanSewingStudio on youtube. I found it easy to follow even though I don't sew much.

Took me about a week, and my hands still haven’t forgiven me for focusing so hard on my embroidery, but now the decorations for my messenger bag are done!

I’m making a messenger bag and I had the bright idea to embroider something on the front flap.

Two problems with that: I have no plan for what design I want to go for, and I haven’t embroidered anything other than cross-stitch in years.

So I drew a simple Silent Princess on some scraps from the bag fabric to see if I still remember how to do it. Six or seven hours later, this was the result, and I’m pretty happy with it.
