Because everyone should see Wishbone in a party hat.

Wishbone episode 6 - The African folktale of Baba and Wana.
While African people are enslaved in America, Baba and Wana hide out in the woods and slowly tend the magic wisdom plants, eventually growing enough to concoct a special medicine. While Wana (Wishbone) distracts one of the slave owners, Baba administers the medicine to the slaves. With its aid, they are able to fly into the air and escape. This wisdom, coupled with the spirit of freedom, remains with the African people to this day.
Wishbone playing Anansi the Spider, an African folktale. Anansi wants to be the wisest in the world and sell his wisdom for profit. So he steals all the wisdom plants and stuffs them in a hollowed gourd. He wants to take them up to the top of the tree, but can’t because the gourd is backwards and getting in his way. A young girl helps him straighten it out so he can finish his theft. When he gets to the top, he realizes that he is an idiot for not being able to figure that out on his own. He feels bad. So he lets all the wisdom fall back down to the people below where it can be shared for free. The end.

Very sad that Wishbone never had a Dracula episode
Picture it: either the dog is playing Dracula and wearing a cute little cape, or else he's Jonathan Harker and the poor guy playing Dracula has to terrorize this little dog
They made a book version, though! After Wishbone ended, the tie-in novels continued for a few more years. The Dracula one was one of the last ones released and wasn't sold for that long, so it's pretty rare.
Once you realize that Wishbone's voice sounds like a slightly higher pitched Dave Foley...you will never, ever be able to unhear it.
Wishbone is the best dog character to grace television in the last 30 years. Paws down. Soccer the Dog served *tail* in every performance! 🐕📚
