I have a sincere question, and I completely understand if you say no! Would it be okay to use your pact example (the one of Lucifer specifically) as a tattoo design? Of course I understand if not because I don't want to disrespect you as the designer, I would never take advantage of your hard work. I just wanted to ask because the design is amazing and would make an awesome tattoo! Also asking off anon in case you don't want to post this question publicly. More historically accurate outfits for Nami and Zoro in Wano

So for my college costume design class I was tasked with making costumes for movies/tv/theater that was from something set a long time ago. I was allowed to do One Piece as Wano is based off of Edo period Japan.

After hours of research, here is my results!

Zoro’s stayed very similar, his long haori had it’s patterned changed. The gear symbols with the sun inside it that was originally on his haori were called “mon”. “Mon” are a family’s crest. The gear and the sun, as far as we know, has nothing to do with Zoro family wise. (We don’t know his bio family so I am going off his “chosen” family, or those he is close to). I was not creative and just chose a Buddhist symbol as Zoro references buddhist stuff in his moves. I gave him hakama pants as well.

I found something neat. Samurai (and ronin) wore two swords on their left side because they were trained to be right handed. Zoro has his swords on his right side, so he is most likely left handed or at least ambidextrous. 

Nami’s changed a bunch. I was basing the outfit off of when she wears armor in the manga. So the short outfit she wears was called a “kunoichi outfit”, kunoichi meaning female ninja. After some research, female ninja did not have an outfit. They wore everyday clothing to blend in. they did however have special weapons like the neko-te, basically rings with sharpened claws attached to them that they would use to wolverine style someone’s throat open. I gave her a regular dark blue kimono with white hakama. She also has samurai chest armor like in the manga, but it is more accurate and based off a preserved piece in the metropolitan museum. I also made her mon the tattoo she has.
