Fuck my life
So my boyfriend didn’t get his fellowship which means I need to come up with 8k before summer so he can keep with his classes. Does anyone know what I should do or lift? My boyfriend only makes $30 a week at his job and I’m already scraping by as is with paying for all of his other stuff. I’m freaking the fuck out. I have two months to make $8,000. Please help guys
Holy everloving shit. This is SO not fucking good. Ok, let me give you a lil list of shit that (IMHO) boosts hella good, along with other shit you can do. FYI, try to see if the boy can do only a part time schedule, or if he can work out a payment plan with the dean or something. Anything to buy you more time, even if that’s just an extra few weeks.
Non-booster shit to do?
Sell your old stuff on ebay or similar sites. Shit like band shirts ALWAYS sell super quickly.
Check Craigslist to find if there are any odd jobs out there that pay cash. It’s usually shit like helping someone load a moving truck, or mowing a lawn, but still better than nothing.
Go to thrift stores and buy shit to resell on eBay. Sometimes, you can find collectible stuff or name brand shirts and shit that can easily bring you 2-3x the amount you paid for it.
List of shit that boosts amazingly well? Aiit, hold on to ya panties, this gonna be a long ride! (And all ya’ll snooping on this better be taking some bomb ass notes!) NOTE - If it’s more ‘specific’ shit, like things in a certain size (clothes and shoes) it may take longer to sell.

Liquid Lipsticks (St!la, UD, ABH, other high end brands) $12-$20
Liquid Lipsticks (drugstore brands e.g. Milani or Loreal) $4-$6 each, do best in bundles

Instax Cameras - $40-$60 each
Instax Film - bundles can go for around $20-$30 each for 2-4 pks of film
C0pic markers - sell in bundles for an average of $2-3/marker. Best around beginning of semesters.
Sku//Candy Headphones - $10-$15 each
Good quality paintbrushes - anywhere from $5-$15 a brush, depending on quality and MSRP value. Do best in bundles and during beginning/end of semesters and holidays.
Good quality paints (watercolors or acrylics) - usually $3-$5 a pop, unless you bundle them. Same warnings as brushes and copics.
VS Perfumes (full sized) - $15-$20 if they have a price of $25 or above. Closer to $10-$15 if they’re under that.
P!NK logo waistband panties - $6-$10 each or sell in bundles for $15-$20 for 2
Other VS/P!NK panties - Anywhere from $5-$10 a pop, depending on retail value.
Travel sized/rollerball VS perfumes $8-$12 each (depending on MSRP)

VS/P!NK/Nik3/Ad!das leggings - $20-$40 (depends on MSRP, may take longer t sell because of sizing)
Fandom T-shirts - $10-$15, bigger fandoms like Har/ry P0tt3r or Dr. Wh0 will sell faster
Band T-shirts -$10-$15 again, bigger/better known bands will sell faster. Look up BIG concerts/festivals that are happening this summer and grab shirts for some of those bands WAY in advance. Think C0ach3lla, Warp3d T0ur, etc.
Keychains - $5-$7 each, but sell SUPER fast if they’re from popular fandoms. You can easily grab a dozen of them in a go, and while it isn’t amazing af, it’s something!
‘Retro’ trend jewelry (think those tattoo chokers, plastic bangles, etc) $2-$5 a pop, possibly more if you bundle.
P0P V!nyl F!gur3s - $10-$15 each, depending on what it is. Beware, as I’ve heard they MAY be source tagged. Can someone confirm?
Velvet clothes -$10-$20+, depending on what it is. May take longer to sell because of sizes.
Phone Cases 0tt3rB0x or Lif3pr00f - $15-$30+ each, depending on size(phone model)
Phone cases, regular decorative shit - $5-$15 each, depending on what type it is (rubber bumper vs a 3D case) and what size (phone model)

there’s so much important shit to know about lifting from wermert:
1. DVD’s aren’t tagged. not even the new new stuff.
2. CD’s ARE tagged, not all of them, but some. i don’t know if they actually set off the towers (bc i’m not a reckless bitch) but i definitely sat in the TP fort for like 45 minutes and took apart 3 CD cases of the 9 i nabbed to get that sticker off (and i mean TOOK APART, like the sticker was beneath the right side of the case that holds the actual CD). then of course, rolled it all up in TP, shoved it in the period slot, and bounced. i strongly advise bringing a razor blade with you if you’re gonna do this so you can noiselessly slit open the packaging and only make noise when you’re crumpling it up (i usually wait until no ones in there, but if someone is, it’ll sound like a pad).
3. if you take almost exclusively groceries (or have groceries covering the top and sides of ur cart), they are 99% less likely to stop you bc they can’t restock groceries after someone has tried to steal them, so it’s already gonna be counted as a loss for them.
4. never have i ever seen a greeter give a fuck about a walk out. i have never been sussed when doing a walk out bc i am super confident and the last few times i’ve done it, i act like i’ve just gotten a call and it’s something mildly distressing. not “OMG SHE GOT RUN OVER?!” but like “Thomas, i’m leaving right now. if you wanted it, you should’ve put it on the list. no, i’m not going back in.” a very typical interaction and people are a lot less likely to stop you if you seem irritated.
5. i had the excellent fortune to one day be in the bathroom near one of the main employee stock rooms and heard the janitor who was waiting to clean the bathrooms saying good bye to all the people whose shift had ended, and it was a LOT of folks. as a result, i now know when one of the shift changes happens which is excellent bc it’s a time when stores are most vulnerable. employees are trying to get tf out so they no longer give a fuck and other people are just starting their shift and are probably late and/or flustered. i actually walked out this last time 7 minutes after a shift change and there were no managers in sight, only a few very overwhelmed cashiers, and NO GREETER.
6. if you see a manager doing what is clearly not their job, like restocking detergent or something, then the store is short-handed and the manager is picking up the slack. excellent time to lift as the only people who can actually stop you at an exit is a manager or LP (which most wallyworlds don’t have anymore).

ok… @everyone asking about how I got the vinyl: • remember: UO has 0 cameras. nada. zilch. (if your does for some inane reason, this will be more difficult but not impossible) • make sure you have a big bag! at least 18inx18in. • take two if you can, just so it doesn’t look like what you concealed disappeared into thin air. conceal one, put the other back. easy. • conceal. this really just takes practice bc records are quite large compared to stuff you might typically drop in your bag. if you want to I guess you could practice this at home first! • assume that it is tagged. In my experience, 100% of the time they are tagged with an rfid under the price sticker. your best bet is to just rip it off. you can just reach in your bag and do this or be really through and go to the dressing rooms to give it a one over. • I dispose of the rfids in the backpacks that they have filled with tissue paper. chances are nobody will discover it until someone else has already taken it home. • enjoy your new record!! After the new years, like the week after. Stores are a dead zone, there’s wayyy less SA, everything is super slow. This will continue until the end of February and things will then start to slowly pick up again.
