The meme shared from a friend, whom I've only recently met in "the Legend of Korra" fandom. We talked about some things and then they shared this meme with me. I added Mike and Beck; I'm not sure if the English explanation is clear. lmao

Two groups of people.
The two individuals are on opposing sides. One of them has a dual identity, and despite having only just met the other, they’ve built a deep bond of trust based on their character, code of conduct, and sense of humor. The other character, too, comes to place unconditional trust in the other as they spend time together.
They have different values and personal experiences, but their shared values make them admire each other. They are compatible in their actions but different in their beliefs, and they are not harmonious despite their shared ideals.
This feels… (heartache, anxious, whatever those emotion, lol) for me as a viewer who ships these (or not "ship", I like their relationship), and it also proves how brilliant the screenwriters and creators are at crafting the story.

I'm about to start talking nonsense.
The production team included many internal staff who worked on both projects, and the main character designer was the same person, Robert Valley. Colleagues frequently praised each other on social media, highlighting seamless communication between different roles.
Using the theme of "revolution against tyranny," they created similar yet structurally different stories—the plots were excellent.
The art director fostered a sophisticated art style, and the animation production skillfully combined 3D-to-2D and 2D-to-3D effects and character designs to create an illusion—the artwork was superb.
The lighting, storyboarding, script, character movements, emotions, and action sequences were meticulously controlled, and the music perfectly complemented the plot development—the artistic expression was superb.
Furthermore, both works came from the same company, were invested in by Disney, and premiered only a few days apart, indicating a very close production schedule.
In any context, it would seem like they were born at the wrong time. Yet, they were also "timely."

Mike and Evil Cadet Mike are more like a small episode in Mike's "identity dizziness": In the early stages of his defection, Mike faced a contradiction between two concepts: "serving the people in the Deluxe city" and "being Kane's highly anticipated assistant."
However, this contradiction was short-lived, even disappearing. This is evident in his acceptance of powerful combat capabilities and his kindness in protecting the people. He didn't resent or oppose his growth during his military academy years, or even his growth in the Deluxe city (such as his belief system, the self-worth constructed for him by his upbringers, which he considered complete; and his understanding of society, which he considered complete).
His self-identity was complete; he knew the true meaning of happiness; his goals were quite simple. He was an admirable and respectable ordinary person. He achieved what everyone could dream of: a clear mind and a sense of fulfillment in life. This is evident in the show; he lived entirely according to his own will, yet unknowingly changed the lives of everyone he came into contact with. But changing other people's lives doesn't mean "he controls their lives."
From his hallucinations of fear (a form of subconsciousness triggered by bodily stimulation), which resemble Kane's dogs (HOUND Bots), we can infer that what he resents is "himself as Kane's tool in society—used to maintain order, create panic, and hunt down things that don't conform to Kane's rules."
Mike and Kane share some similar strategies and methods, stemming from what Mike learned from Kane. Alternatively, Mike admires Kane, a city administrator who still makes time for mentors like himself, accompanying promising individuals like Mike. However, their underlying intentions differ: Mike cares about others, while Kane cares about power and control.
These points can be observed in episode 15. Mike quickly realizes the team is trapped in the Deluxe city (a keen insight), and when they are indeed trapped, he smiles (or perhaps smirks?) and says, "We'll finally have a chance to take the sights." "Any change you work up some of you magic and open one of these exits?" (with frequent changes in language style within a short period), his walking posture when he avoided the Enforcer Drones and his reaction to Chuck's screams, his relaxed posture in Clarie's pod (body language and facial expressions as cues), his reaction to the decorations in Darr's room, and his later private conversation with Darr (Mike's explanation of his understanding and insights) reveal his aversion to being "deceived and used as a tool." He feels uncomfortable but won't tell his friends, though he will comfort those who feel even more uncomfortable, such as Dutch (Chuck wasn't uncomfortable with his disguise; Chuck is quite special, he didn't deny his fear; I briefly mentioned in the previous analysis that Chuck is the team's risk assessor, XD. Mike's quick adaptability and resilience are repeatedly seen in other episodes).
Having fear and enduring emotional pressure is part of the growth process.
However, the five members of Burners express emotions in different ways, relatively speaking:
The first group, Chuck and Dutch: With a generally rational and stable mindset, they express their emotions directly, often without regard to the situation, directly expressing and complaining about negative emotions. It can even be observed that Dutch sometimes struggles to control his emotions more than others, even Chuck (ep5, ep13, ep17, ep20). However, Dutch is easily noticing or worried about whether others are dissatisfied (ep5, ep13, ep15, ep16).
The second group, Mike and Julie, are generally more emotionally sensitive and tend to hide their emotions. If Julie's emotions waver, her strong stance is more apparent and intense, and she may easily overlook the consequences (ep3, ep11, ep14, ep20). In the first character analysis, I mentioned that Mike possesses self-controlled rationality.
These two groups, due to their different experiences, evolved higher-order thought patterns and emotional perceptions: The first group, long exposed to cold, objective matters such as data analysis and mechanical technology, tended to use emotional expression, such as Chuck's frequent screams and Dutch's artistic creations. The second group, driven by their pursuit of truth and justice, could not tolerate falsehood and absurdity; their confrontation with ignorance and cognitive iteration led to a rational thinking mode that deconstructs appearances and elucidates cause and effect.
Texas is in the third group. He's very simple-minded and has no worries, so he expresses his emotions directly even when he's in a state of emotional thinking. He occasionally offers his brilliant or whimsical ideas from angles that Mike and Dutch might not notice (ep2, ep4, ep6, ep8, ep9, ep11, ep16, ep17), which is also great.
These are all their strengths. In contrast, Mike, in managing this group of peers with diverse personalities, uncovers their flaws and leverages them as complementary strengths—Mike uses the method of "seeking common ground while reserving differences, harmony without uniformity," which reflects his inclusive philosophy.
The characters' body language and facial expressions in this animation are well worth close observation! The language and body language used by the Burners young people in their interactions with Jacob are particularly interesting. I've added some contrasting gestures and actions relevant to the current topic.
If we're talking about Mike's deep resentment towards Kane in the show, and his insistence that Kane is evil, this doesn't equate to "his hatred towards anyone associated with Kane," nor does it mean "he needs a reliable, blameworthy external object." He only hates Kane personally; he hates the "honor, promise, future" Kane instilled in him (which later became "lies, deceit, corruption"), he hates Kane's ideology; therefore, he doesn't need an external object, he doesn't need a specific person to hate.
We can see from Mike's attitude towards Duke, Rayon, etc., that Mike is a reasonable person; he doesn't hate anyone.
Episode 5 (I had a full-length analysis of this episode in a draft version; this is a simplified version?): Rayon remains somewhat silent after betraying the Burners. Feeling guilty, he didn't really want to betray his alliance, so he didn't do anything to damage the Burners' cars.
Mike felt disgusted by Rayon's betrayal, but that disgust wasn't as strong as his obsession to protect his teammates. He quickly adjusted his mood. Mike knew this was a counter-offensive by different gangs for profit, and his alliance with the gangs was only at the level of monetary cooperation such as custom parts. He didn't have deep connections with the gangs; on the contrary, he could easily use "custom parts" as a bargaining chip to get those forces tempted by Duke's bounty to side with him. Clearly, Rayon also appreciates Mike's ability to handle conflicts between multiple factions, so he respects Mike and gives him face (ep 10, ep 16) – a kind of "smooth" social etiquette among the various parties.
Throughout the show, Mike's attitude towards Duke is more one of annoyance, but this annoyance unexpectedly leads him to form alliances with other gangs. Therefore, he is always annoyed by Duke's harassment – more of a sense of helplessness and resignation (willy-nilly?) – this is still Mike's democratic and egalitarian philosophy teaching him not to deal with Duke in the same way he deals with Kane.
Adding some examples regarding concepts or cognition:
Mike is somewhat slow to perceive certain things.
Mike's egalitarian mindset makes him seem unaware that the enemy uses insulting or disrespectful language to address him. Perhaps, from his perspective, the other party's "way of showing respect" was truly "abnormal."
Treat others with respect and equality, and you'll unconsciously overlook vulgar and insulting language, subtly helping those around you to voice their opinions (see Mike's demands on Duke in episode 5).
If Mike sees the enemy becoming even more enraged and jumping around, he's even more perplexed. I think this contrast is far too dramatic. Yes, we can see from Kane's emotionally charged eyebrows, Duke's flushed face and flailing hands and feet that the production team wanted to suggest drama.
But that doesn't mean "Mike won't provoke the enemy." He has said sarcastic things to Kane's bots—he knows when to be witty, it's just one of his humour. However, Mike is quite susceptible to being taken "Reverse Psychology" (ep1, ep7, ep12), likely influenced by the sarcastic and ironic teachings he received during his military academy years; this also fostered his competitive spirit.
2. Why did he react with such bewilderment that looked like completely "hundred thoughts cannot explain it" (ep7) when Chuck parked the car in the gap between high buildings? It was something he witnessed that was beyond his comprehension: he had no idea how much force Chuck applied to the steering wheel, which gear he selected, or what speed he achieved by combining the brakes and accelerator, all for a novice driver on his first attempt.
On the contrary, Chuck seemed quite proud. Mike proposed Plan B, concluding that Chuck was unsuitable for racing.
Everyone reacts differently to clashes of cognitive abilities. For example, Texas often intentionally or unintentionally provokes others, while Tooley idolizes him. When two simple-minded individuals' thoughts collide, they don't consider other distorted ideas—this is the coping mechanism that arises when cognition is at the same level. However, Tooley, with his lower cognitive level, was influenced by Texas's way of thinking, so he believed what Texas said was true.
Another group, whose different cognitive levels led to different understandings, reacted differently depending on the situation.
Cognition is not an attitude, but a difference in structural hierarchy. The difference in cognitive levels between these two groups wasn't significant, requiring no extra effort to explain things to each other, so their interaction was harmonious.
And then there's the character Kaia: Mike is not Kaia, nor does he resemble her. This explains why, when he discovered Kaia's true purpose involved innocent residents, that she would drag all life down with her, recklessly annihilating everything, he resolutely refused to cooperate with Kaia and stopped all her subsequent actions. I quite hope that the second season of MC will show Kaia being consumed by her own actions—that would be her self-destruction.
Suppose Mike successfully overthrew Kane's rule, he would become a "second Kane" because he didn't know how to manage politics, turning his society into an anarchic society, and then into even greater chaos. Therefore, I don't think much about overthrowing authoritarian regimes. Julie is better suited to manage politics because her father genuinely wants to pass everything on to her. I hope Mike's rebellion and Kane's authoritarianism maintain a delicate balance. I also accept that Mike's fan works often features "death/sacrifice" as an outcome, but his spirit of rebellion will live on in future generations.
Overthrowing the regime is highly unlikely to succeed because they are just young people. As viewers, we cannot expect them to perform actions that shake up social structures and create legends; such responsibility or expectation is too heavy. They only need to convey basic ethical education. Simply looking at shows aimed at children and teenagers reveals many admirable aspects, such as trust in friendship, confidence in life, understanding and tolerance in relationships… These are all excellent values that should be taught to children.
This is why viewers are more likely to overlook potential problems because of these upright young people. We easily absolve children of responsibility and forgive their (world-ending) mistakes; they have a lot of room to grow, they are not static characters.
Adults tend to go down the path of absolute cynicism, mainly because it seems too realistic (?). In contrast, it's the purely young people in fictional works who strive to protect the meaning of life in this world. They don't see things as deeply as adults, but they can see from many different angles.
Only authors with such profound understanding of the world can write works that celebrate meaning. These creators love the world, love it deeply enough, even beyond its limits, which generates greater energy and requires a container to hold their creative desires. They then invest time and willpower into these desires, transforming them into recordable and exhibitable works. They compress their boundless ideas and souls into limited, tangible objects.
My personal understanding of the relationship between Julie and Kane is that the mother's absence causes the father to simultaneously assume the roles of two people. This is evident in Julie's love for her father; even when he is on the verge of becoming a monster for his own purposes, she still believes he can turn back. Julie's attitude towards her father in the story is clear.
Because the father assumes the roles of both parents, Kane loves his daughter too much, which leads him to more extreme actions. His goal becomes an obsession in protecting his daughter, ultimately evolving into ambition.
This naturally leads to the conclusion that the father is exceptionally good to his daughter.
Good family education is essential for effectively managing other members within a peer group, much like Julie's mother role in Burners:
In episode 4, she even asks Mike if they should bring back the angry Texas. More than once in this episode, Julie and Mike look at each other, like they're watching their own mischievous team members.
In episode 12, Julie and Mike are pleased to see Dutch has a new friend (or girlfriend).
In episode 17, Julie and Mike sit and watch Texas and Dutch fool around, without intervening, because they see it as a way for the two to bond. Julie, being a girl, may not understand male interaction patterns, while Mike waits until things get serious before intervening.
Especially in episode 14, Julie emphasizes "my crucial formative years with me," using the tactic of "whining to her father." This shows that Julie knows she can be spoiled and she cleverly gets Kane to fulfill her needs as much as possible. Conversely, Julie doesn't exhibit such demanding behavior when interacting with peers or other elders.
She has different proactive ways of getting along with people. We can infer that she doesn't have a one-sided need to demand things from the outside world: she has a stable and intimate relationship with Claire, she trusts others without trying to please them, she doesn't suppress her opposition to her father, she isn't discouraged by her inability to change his views, and she doesn't seek authority or approval.
Her emotional interaction with Kane is sufficient. Her father doesn't neglect or distance himself from his daughter's responses due to his heavy workload. The love he provides is unconditional, and Julie receives enough love. He doesn't overindulge her; there's moderate pampering and strict love—all these aspects indicate that Kane doesn't excessively control Julie, and he is very attentive to his daughter's education.
Kane is indeed a competent father. Well, this also proves a conclusion I made earlier.
Julie and Mike were nurtured by excellent elders, allowing them to grow into outstanding individuals. They don't have a "Mother wound" or "Father wound."
If Mike's attitude towards Kane truly did have a "Mother wound" or "Father wound," then he would use "fighting for the happiness of Detroit/Motorcity/the people of Detroit" as a cover for "his hatred of Kane." In that case, their struggle would be more personal, not at the level of "right or wrong" as depicted in the show.
To add, the Bible does indeed mention: "Both Mike and Kane feel BETRAYED by one another, which makes their struggle for KaneCo Deluxe and Motorcity extremely personal."
But we must thank the writers for their dedication! Even though both characters feel betrayed, the writers didn't use Mike's hatred as a source of strength, and Mike doesn't hate anyone else (I've mentioned examples before).
In episode 20, Mike is shocked by Kane's concern for Julie. This shock stems from a cognitive conflict: he thought that after his experiences in military school and the rebel one, having shifted identities, he understood Kane's duality. Yet, Kane actually cares about this intern's safety?
When he sees Julie being taken into that small pod, and Julie turns and knocks on the glass calling out, he suddenly becomes concerned about Julie's safety because he worries that Kane will lock her up and restrict her freedom.
He doesn't feel betrayed again by Kane in that scene. Otherwise, he would have immediately retorted or countered when Kane said, "You were like a son to me!", showing resentment in the relationship.
He responded to Kane's "You could've had it all!" with, "That was never going to happen!"
Mike knew he had learned from Kane, but would never become like him.
In the final scene of episode 20, Mike saw Julie alone and went to check on her. Mike commented on Julie's abilities as an intern, and Julie's body trembled slightly.
In this scene, we can see that their body language is different: Julie is defensively arms crossed, while Mike is unguarded with his hands in his pockets. Mike naturally sensed that Julie was hiding something from him, but he didn't press the matter. That's why Mike said, "I never knew you meant so much to Kane. You must be a really good intern."
Julie replied, "He's my boss, that's all."
Mike repeated, "He was my boss, too."
Because Mike had once been an important employee to Kane,
he empathized with her.
Julie intended to reveal the secret, but due to other matters, the situation became inappropriate, so she didn't easily or opportunely reveal it.
Additionally, "Mike didn't pry too much": In episodes 8 ("Going Dutch") and 11 ("Off the Rack"), when Mike's teammates were absent from the battle, Mike showed more respect than blame:
In episode 8, he didn't blame Dutch for being out of contact; instead, he expressed his gratitude to his still-alive teammates, explaining their current situation. He didn't question where Dutch had gone on vacation, nor did he offer any pleasantries. He simply remarked that Dutch had a good holiday, enjoyed himself, and that the rescue was timely.
In episode 11, Julie communicated that she couldn't come, causing her absence from the battle and lack of support. Later, Julie communicated again to inquire about the situation. Mike didn't blame Julie; he simply reported that the mission finished. When Texas complained about Julie and boasted about herself, he didn't interrupt. Even after hearing about Julie's efforts, he still praised her. Later, he asked Julie for more reconnaissance assistance, and after Julie introduced herself as capable of doing it, he acted as if waiting for someone to volunteer to take on this difficult task.
Finally in episode 11, he asked Julie one last time what secret she wanted to reveal during the crisis, but after Julie stated, "It can wait," the two of them went straight to the other team members. The two don't have much dialogue.
This reflects Mike's respect for others, maintaining a certain distance and boundaries.
This can also be inferred from his experience with Kane: don't get too close to people you know and appreciate—an inference consistent with his statement, "It's nothing. Just… Just don't get too close." His hesitant and paused expressions suggest uncertainty about whether his experience applies to others.
Have Mike learned any other lessons?
In episode 6, during his fight with Red, his first punch to Red's abdomen was ineffective due to Red's armor, resulting in his defeat. He later punched Red in the abdomen again, and was knocked and flied away again. Had he forgotten about Red's armor defense? No, that was part of his fighting style. Mike punched Red in the abdomen a second time, producing the same metallic sound, but without the discomfort or pain in his hand. He quickly changed tactics before, using another tool to inflict the necessary damage.
Furthermore, during his hand-to-hand combat with Kane, it became clear that their punches and kicks were remarkably similar, targeting each other's vital points—he had indeed learned from Kane, but hadn't completely imitated him. This confirms some of my earlier points.
Why did Mike lose the fight against Kane? There are two reasons: First, Mike didn't have enough physical strength, he lacked stamina; his body had already been weakened and depleted before that moment. Second, Kane's desire to kill him outweighed Mike's reluctance to kill. Mike was already making every effort to control the intensity of his attacks, dodge, deal with the opponent's attacks, and capture the actions from Kane.
The unequal state between the two sides just shows how formidable Mike's combat abilities were. He can naturally employ different combat strategies when facing different people (not mechanical equipment). For example, he might use the opponent's force against them, defeat the enemies far away, or hit their abdomen, back, or head to impair their movement, allowing him to quickly turn the tide of battle or retreat, minimizing his own losses, or maneuvering to keep the enemy at bay.
His Spark Staff, in terms of offensiveness, defense, practicality, and design, is both ordinary yet uniquely functional, further highlighting Mike's personality and characteristics.
(I'm not good at analyzing combat information! I need to… let me collapse for a while. The examples from the show might not be entirely accurate XD)
In episode 19, he and Chuck use holographic technology to review the battle logs, spending several hours reviewing them, which shows he learns from his mistakes.
Actually, we can also see him learning from some mistakes in episode 5, lol. However, episode 19 is in the final episode, so the writers might have arranged it chronologically as a "character transformation." In terms of production order, episode 15 precedes episode 13; however, I've never watched the entire series in production order, I treat it like an episodic show, my memory isn't good.
The writers used love as Mike's source of strength.
His love is very powerful, a strong energy, truly altruistic and self-beneficial. His love is free; he loves everything in the world, his career, and anything concrete or abstract.
With love in his heart, he won't recklessly hurt others, won't create more pain, or cause pain to others. When love is given, love is returned, and positive energy is felt. Love is essentially the ability to give, but it's important to note that this is not a sacrificial, morally manipulative giving.
Mike understands, respects, and supports others—their perspectives, their individuality, and happiness.
Mike faces everyone's situation and choices squarely, which is why he most firmly pursues his own, and his initial and ultimate goal—equality for all, a public and common spirit ruled all under the sky.
Kane, on the other hand, loves his daughter by oppressing others. He tramples on and damages others to satisfy himself. This isn't eternal love; it's something that must be demanded from the outside world. Kane's love, transformed into twisted hatred, doesn't make him stronger, and the outside world is forever uncontrollable; he distrusts it.
Kane forces, transforms, and possesses—the thoughts, choices, and living body of a human being of others.
Kane craves the enjoyment that privilege brings. He revels in the sense of conquest he gains when he unjustly besieges someone who doesn't conform to his "everything." Kane wants to continue using his "love for his daughter" as a pretext, exploiting his vulnerable status to solidify the privileges he can enjoy.
When you seek the light, you will find it. But when you seek darkness, it has already enveloped you—as you see. However, helping others is the best way to solve one's own problems.
The distinction between "right and wrong" between Mike and Kane is based on "different identities and interests," a "stage-specific right and wrong," not a "binary opposition of right and wrong."
Are they like two sides of the same coin?
Opposition and division exist within any concept; this is the norm.
Regarding Mike, are the statements "he maintains a certain distance in his relationships with friends and even with the residents of Detroit" and "he deliberately distances himself from social interaction" the same? These two statements are not equivalent.
Mike's initial path to identity transformation was lonely, but he "seemed" or "once" didn't care; he continued to move forward towards his goals.
The friends he met along the way actively followed him, tracing his shadow; others actively entered Mike's world, slowly approaching him.
It wasn't that he was chasing the edge of the world, but that the world was following in his footsteps. Hearts moved by him had already taken steps and were moving towards him.
Does he not need friends? Perhaps not (after all, as viewers, we don't know his past life, and the show doesn't particularly emphasize whether he has a family background. In episode 15, when he was trapped in the Deluxe city, he didn't seek help "from people he knew in the past" like Dutch did). Or perhaps not; he is still himself, still pursuing his goals.
But does he not love his friends? No, his friends are the people he loves most (there are many examples in the show, I won't list the number of episodes XD. But the script for episode 8, "Then we got jumped by our friends out there," shows that Mike considers residents who even he doesn't know as friends).
Without that unattainable yet deeply desired sun, they might never have crossed paths. Driven by admiration, respect, and shared aspirations, Mike didn't just connect individuals; he brought them together.
On the surface, Mike's social circle is small, but he has long considered his friends an integral part of building his resistance.
Mike's boundless empathy stems from his love, a love that defies definition by any person or any word. His understanding of love is free, without many defined concepts. He might even vaguely equate "family affection, romantic love, and friendship" with just the word "love"—he's just that kind of dumb one.
In the show, Mike loves his car and his dog figurine. The love Mike gives to both objects is equal.
He uses "she" and "girl," a gender distinction based on his own gender as a human being—but this difference in terminology doesn't prevent him from treating his car and dog figurine as comrades, friends, and family.
No matter how badly damaged the car is, his primary concern is protecting his dog figurine, Mutt, the easiest thing for him to safeguard.
Car Mutt can be repaired: he and his teammates discuss new car features or add parts, and even in exchanges where their knowledge levels differ, Car Mutt can still be fixed.
The car isn't part of his body; he has other tools and abilities. This doesn't strip him of his identity, or his sense of identity—he clearly knows what makes him strong.
Whether Mike is with Car Mutt not, he talks more about his friends, those friends in the real, material world.
The Mutt figurine is a spiritual friend to him, and he knows how to distinguish it; for him, it's his only spiritual projection—his love is abundant, overflowing, but that one, small dog bobblehead is an extremely concentrated embodiment of him.
From his egalitarian perspective, he also shifts perspective; he doesn't love the outside world with anthropocentric views. What he cherishes is life under this shared sky. His spiritual pursuits are more profound than material enjoyment. This can be seen through the fact that everyone in the animation has their own lifestyle, and the story is full of life-like details.

The screenwriters' ability are truly amazing. They take such simple characters and, through a "clichéd, " easily understood story, use complex plot content to enrich and shape them, highlighting their individual personalities. It includes race car drivers in the automotive genre. The dynamics and racing scenes. The combat sequences showcase the characters' fighting identities, skills, and actions—all in just 20 episodes… Another short series, Tron: Uprising, is worth watching repeatedly. Some of the staff responsible for storyboarding at Uprising were directors on the MC team.
Mike is a very… very worthwhile character to analyze.
After analyzing him from multiple perspectives, you'll find that his flaws—his "interpersonal relationships," "conflicts of interest," "behavioral beliefs," and "unknown family background"—gradually contribute to his "perfection."
Imperfection itself can be a kind of beauty; it represents individuality, uniqueness, and room for growth.
Admittedly, these are just my opinions.
Fictional characters are not real people; they cannot truly express their own views. All the settings of fictional characters are actually given to them by other real people.
There is more than one answer.
Just like Chris P answering viewers' questions, his team only provides a direction for the answer, not its precision. How the answer is interpreted depends on the fans' understanding in fan creations.
Attached is a comment from Chris P about my one action. And, I won't share the second interpretation post with him; I didn't encounter that opportunity again. Even if I were lucky enough to encounter it again, I might try to pursue it?

Regarding this interpretation, I wrote the first and second halves at different times, then combined them, making some adjustments to the order to modify and supplement it: I started the first half on May 27th, and completed it on May 30th, 2026, between the completion deadline of my commissioned project "Never Enough" and the completion deadline of the commissioned project "Light In The Cave."
The second half was gradually added to based on a video I watched on June 6th at noon, which I watched from a dog-owning blogger(poster? YouTuber?), combining their perspective with my earlier interpretations.
But on the evening of June 6th, on my way home, after I had finished the basic content for that day… I encountered four dogs while stopping on the sidewalk to run errands.
The first time, I encountered two dogs while preparing to scan a shared bicycle. One was pure black, and the other was pure white.
The second time, I encountered two black and white dogs while parking my shared bicycle to buy dinner. One had zebra-like black and white stripes, another had a black back and was white everywhere else, including its head.
The four dogs I saw that day were all different breeds, and their fur had different levels of curliness—some straight, some curly.
Good heavens, how did you know that after I wrote about Yin-Yang theory, or discussed the concept of Yin-Yang (?), or even wrote about a fictional character's dog, you would arrange for me to encounter dogs passing through my eyes? Those dogs even lingered for a minute or two longer because their owners played them or because they played it themselves in front of me.
It's truly amazing! What a coincidence! I wrote an article about a fictional character's dog and Yin-Yang theory, and then I actually encountered dogs, and saw black and white.
The fictional character never saw a real dog, but I encountered real dogs.

Regarding fan works, I raised the question of whether Burners had ever played video games.

The composition of this image—King Arthur aka Sonic running in profile, the sword hilt resting on Merlina's eye, the book, the building that seem to swallow the sky, and an orange chrysanthemum held in her hand (the painting's color scheme makes the flower appear yellow. In that game, Sonic, as the protagonist, consistently acts according to what he believes is right, even when everyone in that world is against him. He still believes he's on the right path because he thinks it's right.

He also admitted that Merlina (the girl in that fanart)'s assessment of him regarding whether he should become a bad person was that he was a bad person.

I do share the same understand of underlying principle regarding the rights and wrongs of Mike and Kane, which is related the story of Sonic and black knight.
Sonic and Mike are very similar.
Some of my interpretations of Mike are consistent with Sonic's—the two characters are just so similar, perhaps even 70-80% similar. Yet different fictional characters due to their different stories.
I know there are Sonic the Hedgehog fans in the MC team, and judging by their age, I believe their understanding and portrayal of Mike's character are indeed inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog. They even hid two Easter eggs about Sonic in the Motorcity show. (Well, "Sonic and the Black Knight" game was released in 2009, while the MC team submitted their cartoon proposal to Disney for project testing in 2010. Perhaps I've misremembered the dates; corrections are welcome.)

My friend initially commissioned this artist to draw Jukebox
(I can't believe my friend seems unable to explain the interaction patterns between the two characters in Jukebox [?]. They said they sent my character analysis post about Mike before they sent some descriptions of Jukebox plots and personalities to that artist. I was like: Huh? WHAT? ),
and I thought the art style and quality were great, so I also went and bought the commission!
The artist's slot was for Chibi-style characters, but our MC characters are from Western cartoons!! My friend and I were surprised by the proportions of Chibi characters. I expressed my shock to the artist, who explained that they elongates the proportions when drawing Chibi-style characters, while the original art style of the characters we gave them suits it better.
