I just noticed this scene (Gatsby being walked to Nick's house to meet Daisy) looks like a funeral procession with all the black umbrellas, clothes, and the rain.

And Gatsby is the only one not wearing black, because he's going to be the subject of the funeral.

When I watched the 2013 Great Gatsby movie and thought it was an amazing adaptation only to go on social media and find out that everyone fucking hates it. That was a sad day for me.

#it's not a perfect adaptation but I still think it's good #it stayed pretty faithful to the book imo (at least with scenes and quotes)#I guess maybe some themes weren't touched on greatly??#idk but i loved it still #I saw some people get upset that Gatsby said “old sport” too much like he doesn't do that in the book too😭#and people don't like the modern songs and it's like okay yeah it's out of place for the time period but it's really just a stylistic choice #some people just don't like baz's style and that's okay #but it's dear to me #the great gatsby #the great gatsby 2013 #meow

THE PARANORMAN SERIES IS OFFICIALLY IN PRODUCTION!!!!!

We are currently searching artists for a bunch of things in the production!

such as: concept art, storyboard artist, background artists and VOICE ACTORS!!! (and a bunch more that I will make for a separate post)

I’m very proud of the script. I’ve made so far and finally we get to work on THE FUN PART OF THE PRODUCTION!!!

if you want to join the project, please contact me through here, Tumblr, or discord. I do want to warn you beforehand that you need to have a discord in order to properly be a part of the project so you can collaborate and communicate properly with the other artists who are on the project!

The major requirement in order to join this project is you having proper knowledge on the source material and be 14+ in order to join the project! Oh AND HAVE A DISCORD.
