Luke’s got crazy ass paternalism issues. “Things always end up where they should” yeah he wasn’t just talking about the dagger, he was talking about Annabeth herself. Like he’s truly a toxic parent who thinks he owns his kid.
Clarisse and her adhd striking mid rescue mission was absolut perfection cus I don’t see a lot of people mentioning her adhd, probably cus we didn’t get to see it before tho.
No but the fact that the thought process of "Okay check room. there is food on the table. Holy shit I haven’t eaten in idk how many days. Okay chips. Okay what else is here?? Ohh they got weapons, the fancy ones too! Let me just check that out” is like visible on her face is chefs kiss!! And then her saying "I needed that” after beating the fuck out of five people!! Lovs it!! Cus she did, her brain probably very much needed a) the adrenaline, b) the good amount of movement that goes into fighting and c) the stimulation cus I can tell you rn she was 10 seconds away from clawing herself out of that cave. And honestly I love that cus the adhd in the show is very much there especially when you know what to look for!!
MYTHOMAGIC MENTIONED AGAAIN YEEAAAHHH.
I just realize there is going to be mythomagic merch probably next season. I can already see me money going away.
TOUCH THE FLEECE TOUCH THE FUCKING FLEECE PERCY
Took bro 8 years to realize he had a deus ex machina right there
the way the aphrodite kid wasn't even charmspeaking him
episode 7 was so peak idc how far off the books it was
wise girl mention, “you were my priority, the fleece was hers,” luke’s inner battle with kronos, sally jackson sighting and paul blofis easter egg, luke and percy’s fight, tyson and grover duo. ABSOLUTELY PEAK
"someone stronger and more wise" and these two teenagers who literally know greek gods both immediately think of sally jackson
Today on Snapchats I send my sister:
“Whose car is this?” PRIUS. BUMPER STICKER THAT SAYS I’D RATHER BE TEACHING. OH MY GOD. PAUL.
I know I say this every time I watch a new Percy Jackson episode but I JUST WATCHED THE NEWEST PERCY JACKSON EPISODE AND OH MY GOSH????????
Annabeth killing Clarisse's soldiers and saying that they need to be sacrificed for the greater good only for Clarisse to say Annabeth needs to be "sacrificed" for the greater good.
Chefs kiss.
The deliciousness of Percy watching Luke pick Annabeth up and take her away with that blank, resigned stare on his face because AT LEAST SHES ALIVE AT LEAST SHES ALIVE AT LEAST SHES ALIVE
Not even the glorious face card could save me from being icked out by the “oh I guess I’m just wrong about everything…” dear god.
Walker fucking Scobell. The way Percy's eyes change when faced with this impossible choice only a day after voicing his fear of it. Annabeth wounded and Luke the only chance of saving her. You can see the darkness creep in, that thing that could tempt him to give Luke the fleece, to do the thing that would end Olympus, to make small human choices that could cost everything. It's all in his eyes.
Percy Jackson had to be on suicide watch after seeing Annabeth unconscious for five seconds. Now, imagine him in S3... Olympus better watch out because he's going to be an absolute menace.
Before I start simultaneously crawling up the walls and sobbing my eyes out over the new episode I do wanna say that Luke almost basically giving Annabeth a whole "oh so I am just THE WORST parent in the world !!???“ speech, was a scene that I did not expect yet however cannot say is unfitting considering their dynamic in the show. Like huh he really was co parenting that kid, he just went down the weird cult path after the divorce (to put it so incredibly nicely)
