Much, much worse? Is that even possible? Okay⊠ââtis something we expected! Ye knew very well that this was not going to be easy. Ye were going to have to fight for it. Not physically! Of course not physically! But Rosa, as long as ye are still here, ye are a threat to whatever she has planned herself. Nothing has changed⊠ye are still on the path to becoming queen. Marriage is about business and from what I know, which isnât much, ye are the better deal. This old queen ye speak of may nae want the crown. Un passo alla volta, va bene?
âTis the thing! There is no plan! She does nae even need a plan! She can say and do whatever she wishes, and Iâm sure they will allow it. I cannot grasp how they handle things here, how everything is not about the law, but about the heart. âTis driving me completely mad to think that she----a woman who ran from her country, without even a momentâs notice---might still hold more favor than I, a princess of Italy, born of an empire, daughter of the Gaxholli crown.... it means nothing to them. Absolutely nothing. I----I hate it.
Do nae fret sister. Life tends to play out in the most unexpected ways. I promise that ye will get to hold him. Anthony just needs a small kiss to his forehead and all will be better, ye hear me? It will be okay. Remember when mother used to kiss us while we were sick? I swear the next day I woke up and felt as healthy and happy as I usually did! Mothers are the cure to everything in a childâs life. Youâre a good mother and ye will continue to be one, Auds. Butâ if Harry does decide to lock ye up, just know that Audric and I are nae going to leave. We shall once again be one large dysfunctional family. Think of the stories we will tell the little one! Of course that munchkin will try his absolute hardest to make Uncle Audric smile. And Iâll be right there beside him. What will ye be doing? Ye will be sitting in a chair watching the whole thing play out, blessed with several people who will always be by your side. Even when weâre all pains in your arse.
I fear ----I fear that it may not be so simple as a kiss and a few coaxes... I fear what the doctors might say. I do not wish to doubt, for I know my son is a fighter, and that no illness will simply take him from us, but... There is this feeling, in the very pit of my stomach, that I have nae been able to shake since I heard the news ----before then, even. I knew something might go wrong... but I figured it to be in my own fate, not... not his... Heâs far too young to be fighting these battles already, and surely if I were to ask God to allow me to fight it for him, He wouldst deny me... All I can do is wait, and hold his hand, and tell him that everything shall be alright... Ye know, in times like these, I truly miss mother and father more than anything. Father would be doing everything in his power to get the best physicians, and conducting business like a madman----shouting at just about anyone he could to make things better... and mother would be here, with us, rubbing our shoulders and trying to cheer us up, telling us stories, and...and making things better by simply being in proximity... I just... What if I can never be that person to Anthony? What if I am not meant for this like they were? I am so.... terrified, Autumn... So, so terrified.Â
Make way for the Queen of England⊠[ He should have been angry, he knew that. He should have had the guards take her away and lock her in the towers but his energy was wavering. He too was driving himself sick. Sick with worry and despair.  In front of her was not a king, it was a husband. A father. A husband longing for his wife to come home and a father worried for his child. Clinging to every bit of hope that was available. The man walked close to her, wary of his steps. Anything that may make her leave again before finally closing the gap between them and wrapping her in his arms. A small sob fell from his lips as he held her. âForgive meâ he wanted to say, among other things but the words just wouldnât come out. âI should nae âave kept ye away from him.  âParliament wanted a new Queen.â He knew she would have heard. Finally only one word managed to fall from his lips as he held her and practically collapsed in her arms. Her name.]  âŠAudrea..
[It took her a moment to register. She wasnât quite sure how she felt. There was a whirlwind within her, one she was terribly frightened of, and Audrea didnât want to overstep her boundaries. But his arms, his scent, his body, his---entirety. His being was all that she had wanted to touch, to see, to hold. Sheâd missed him so horribly, so much so that every night it was a trial to keep her eyes shut and her tears at bay. Her family, while she had tried to be strong and tried to keep her head held high, was more than what she needed. They were everything. He was everything. She fell into his touch as she had many times before, and refused to let go, wrapping her arms around him as though he were the one thing that might keep her afloat. She didnât care any longer; she couldnât.] Harry... [She whispered into his skin, her height barely matched to his. Part of her wanted to stay as such forever, but she died with every passing second of not having her son in her arms.] Iâm so--Iâm sorry. [The words choked out of her, and the tears rolled down her cheeks like rain water.] Whatâs-- Anthony--
Occasionally. âTis a terrible habit in my family. I beg your pardon, m'lady.
Is it? A normality, even? I should say Iâm quite used to it by now, but sadly Iâm always given a fright. âTis fine. Come in.
âWe think that we are the center of the universe, but the truth is we need to circle the ones we love for as long as theyâre here. We need to hold them close because no matter how far we travel, they are the ones who hold us in place.â - GMW 2x01: Girl Meets Gravity

i did comic con⊠& comic con did me right back.
Ah dae believe ye forgot tae add the words Yer Majesty, Rosa [ The brunette spoke as she approached the two blondeâs immediately curtsying before Audrea. ] Ye are right, ye are nae a Queen, show her the respect she deserves. [ Lizaâs voice was hushed, however her posture indicated otherwise. Audrea wasnât just a Queen, this was family, her god sister and in The princessâ mind there was no better woman suited for the English crown, no one better than Audrea Remigio. ] âEr Majesty wishes tae see âer son please. [ Her attention had turn to the guards that were in front of Anthonyâs door, her doe eyes flashing dangerously as she spoke. She hadnât liked the tone that Ross used when addressing Drea, nor did she liked the way she was looking at her as if the rightful Queen was an intruder in her own home. ] Ah will âandle the King myself, but ye will move aside and let âer see Anthony. [ She would get her god sister inside, it didnât matter how or if she got in trouble for it and perhaps it was that she now understood what being a mother was like and she couldnât even begin to imagine what being away from her Liam for that amount of time would feel like. ] Drea, ye go on inside aye? Leave Harryâs anger tae me.. if âe is tae be upset with anyone about this it will be myself. Ye gentlemen will suffer no consequences, ye were simply following the orders given tae ye by a Princess of York. Now on tae ye, âfuture queenâ go off and dae whatever it is that ye have been doing since ye got âere and leave er be. Ye may be the queen that parliament wants but Audrea is the Queen, Aunt Elizabeth chose. She is still the Queen of England, my Queen.
[Audrea stared at the queen to be, the one who would ultimately take her place, if parliament had their way. She was shook, not only by the adversary she met with no purpose, but to be glaring into the eyes of a woman that might refuse another access to her child. It was wrong, it was not right.] I may not have my power anymore, but I will never bow to the likes of you. [She spat, her voice cold and unwavering.] I had hope that the one that might take my country would have some sort of heart, some sort of sense, but clearly all you do is bend to the will and testament of the law and the crown. A queen must care, truly and completely. Not pretend. Someone is in need, you do nae turn the other cheek, ye help. No questions asked. [She turned to Liza, dismissing Rosamaria without saying another word. The woman was so beneath her, she could not stand to even look in her direction.] Thank you, Liza. I will forever be indebted to you. [She swore, placing her hands on her sisterâs shoulders before rushing passed her to her sonâs chambers. Inside, she heard him cry, she saw his tiny arms reach into the air, and despite the worried nurses fluttering to and fro, she picked him up and held him tight against her breast; silently promising to never let him go again.] Mummyâs here, now, love. [She cooed, kissing his forehead, feeling his cold little body against her warm skin. Slowly he calmed in her arms, and she felt his anxiety subside.] Itâll all be alright.
She would try to teach me of sense? Of caring? [Coming from the woman who ran, faster and farther than anyone could imagine even, was rich. It was all too rich. Somehow Rosamaria was the enemy, and while she knew that there would be trials and tribulations, she had not expected so many walls. England was supposed to be hers one day, and here was the former queen, ready to strip her of the thing she wanted most.] Ay, I do bend to the law and the crown because âtis duty. Ye put your heart far too much into everything that ye do, and where has that landed ye? I may not be favored, and I may not have the same love and adoration as ye, but I only have best interest in mind, and I would never do anything to intentionally wound this country. How many of ye seem to think that I would is astounding. Ye think I would dawn a crown of a place I do not care for? [There was a sting in her eye, completely unfamiliar. She knew the sign of weakness, the tears that trailed down the cheek in a showcase of just how soft and damaged one truly was. If her family had seen her, if anyone had seen her, knowing that there might be a part of her that was not callous, cold, hard----it tore her apart. She quickly turned away, wiping her cheeks frantically, pushing away hands that tried to help. It was not fair. She was trying so hard, and constantly coming up short. Why must all of her dreams be stolen from her?] âTis nonsense... âTis useless. [As Audrea went inside to her son, the Italian walked slowly behind her, arms folded, and eyes low. She didnât understand. She wanted to, terribly and awfully, but she couldnât. None of it made any sense. How were they all so attached to each other? How could they all let their hearts make decisions instead of their minds? How was their love stronger than hers?] I was not attempting to be disrespectful. [She said to absolutely no one, before turning her skirt and walking away.]
[Rosamaria rounded the corner with intent. No, no, no, noâŠ. If the whispers were true, if her ladies were honest, then there would be hell to pay. Nothing was supposed to ruin this, it was just a few more weeks, and she would have that crown atop her head. It wasnât fair, it wasnât right.] Youâve only just returned and you are already causing quite the ruckus. [She commented, holding her head high and her hands in front of her person. What was she supposed to say? That by default they had to be enemies? That she could not have her within the same walls without being threatened? That upon her return, the budding respect she was gaining would instantly go down the tubes.] I hope you would understand that âtis not my jurisdiction, âtis up to the King. Ye will have to await his verdict, just like everybody else. I am nae queen yet. [Ross eyed her, biting her tongue. Oh the things she wished she could say.] I might ask that ye lower the tone, and the cursing. âTis not going to get you anywhere, especially not with me.
Ah dae believe ye forgot tae add the words Yer Majesty, Rosa [ The brunette spoke as she approached the two blondeâs immediately curtsying before Audrea. ] Ye are right, ye are nae a Queen, show her the respect she deserves. âTis just the woman I was looking for! Tell me, future Queen of England, shall all our days be like this? Ignored by those that hate us and judged by those that donât know us? Oh, I can almost feel how wonderful that will be.
âTis only the beginning. It is going to get much, much worse, Nic... Audrea Adair has returned, and my position is officially in question. Si... âFuture queen,â I would be wary using those words. Iâm sure all it will take is a flip of her hair and a bat of her lashes and I shall be tossed aside, yet again... I cannae let that happen...
On a good day, oui. - Ye know me always doing something silly, unintentional or intentional never in between. Whatâs with the face cousin? Ye seemed troubled?Â
Oi, donât worry about it.... Things are----things are going to be very different very soon, my friend. Iâm just biding my time... Now, tell me about the unintentional. I need a good story.
