One True Loves By Taylor Jenkins Reid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📖CHEERS TO HITTING MY GOODREADS GOAL FOR THE YEAR😍🎉. One True Loves was book 50! I never imagined hitting this lofty goal (for me) when I set it, but here we are with four months to spare! ********* 📖I loved reading this story. It was a bit difficult to get into at first, but once I made it 50 pages or so, it flew by. 📖The story is about a married couple (Jesse and Emma) who have been together since they were 17. A year after their wedding, Jesse goes on a trip and is presumed dead after the helicopter crashes. Emma spends a few years mourning the loss of her husband and does a 180 on the life she'd had with him. She moves home, takes over the family bookstore, and runs into an old friend (Sam) who used to work at the bookstore. Emma finally feels like her life is making sense again and agrees to marry Sam. The unfortunate part for Emma is that Jesse turns up alive. She spends much of the book fighting with herself for who she loved in the past and who she loves now. 📖The story is beautiful and made me tear up a few times. 📖I'm giving it 4 stars because I still had a few questions at the end that weren't wrapped up, but that doesn't mean this wasn't a great book.
