“Doesn’t the mystery make it more fun?”

♊ — Her silence was mirrored by his own. His words had surprised even himself, but he wasn’t going to dwell. It wasn’t like he didn’t know just how bad he was feeling. Pulled out of his thoughts, he met her eyes with narrowed lids – contemplating just what she had said. His expression soon relaxed, an intrigue taking over him. “Be my guest,” he said as he beckoned her closer.
Lizzie knew this was wrong, she could get by perfectly fine on blood bags but there was something itching within, something that was telling her to feed. Her eyes darkened, the veins crackling underneath before her pointed teeth dug into the males flesh. The metallic flavored liquid filling up before she started to feed more eagerly, wanting more and more. Struggling to pull herself away after about twenty seconds, blood dribbling down her chin, smudging her lips.
raven.
“I’m sorry, but why should I help you?”
“Because I’m your favorite cousin.”

— ❝ I think one of us is more than enough for any one person to have to deal with. ❞ She laughed, attempting to make light of it. ❝ Really ? I was kind of liking this look. ❞
--- “Anybody who is stupid enough to touch you, deserves to deal with us both.” Lizzie replied, holding her ground, one thing she’d never tolerate was violence against her twin. “It does make you look kind of bad ass.” The heretic teased.

♊ — “Considering I am worth no one’s time, I don’t think that applies.” His tone might have been upbeat – playful, but his smile was bitter. The whole situation with Katherine had left him rather sore, and taking it out on this poor stranger seemed to be the only thing that relieved some of the aggression.
Lizzie wasn’t really sure what to say to his response, there probably wasn’t anything she really even could say. That same moment, she considered something. If Kai was going to kill this stranger either way, then she might be able to curb her blood lust. While she hadn’t told anyone of her newly changed state, she had been avoiding blood and this seemed like an opportunity. “Do you mind if I take a bite before you’re done?” A part of herself hated that she even asked, but the thirst and the inner monster were thrilled, giddy even.

Work being all consuming, Josette Parker had hardly had a moment to think, let alone spend one on one with her daughters. She had finally set some time away and had made it her mission to see Lizzie, and she wasn’t surprised at how she found her. As she watched the feathers fall around her daughter she couldn’t help but smile, thinking about when she had learned the spell years ago herself, as well as memories of the girls learning it. “That brings back memories….”
Lizzie had been so consumed in what she had been doing that she didn’t know her mother was near until she spoke. Which was surprising considering her newly enhanced hearing. She took a look at the feathers, thinking back to when her mother had been teaching it to them. Lizzie had gotten so frustrated until she was finally able to do it perfectly, she was a perfectionist in most things but magic especially. “It does.” She said with a smile and turned towards her mother.
grace.
“Starting at the beginning might help?”
“Maybe just focusing on something else will help.”
grace.
“Anything you want to talk about?”
“Honestly, I wouldn’t know where to start.” Lizzie answered, really not knowing where she’d even begin.
grace.
“It’s alright, you looked more spaced out than anything. Are you alright?”
“Just distracted is all.”
grace.
“Are you going to keep staring at me or are going to actually say something?”
“Was I staring? I didn’t realize.”
[ hello, my old heart ] how have you been? are you still there? i’m so worried. you’re so still. barely beating. oh, please don’t leave me here alone.
josie.
— ❝ I hope you don’t think I let them get away with it ? I thought you knew me a little better than that. ❞
--- “I know you wouldn’t let them get away with it but it doesn’t mean that they don’t have to deal with me as well. Since you’re not only my twin but my best friend as well.” Lizzie gave a soft smile towards Josie and sighed. “They better look way worse...and we need to get you cleaned up.”
liv.
Liv had found herself in the Saltzman house, in search of Jo. She had wanted to speak with her sister, but instead found her niece. Liv smiled watching Lizzie float the feathers. It was a simple spell, one of her first she learned, but it still amazed her, even it’s simplicity was beautiful. “Sorry to interrupt, Lizzie,” Liv spoke, “you haven’t happened to see your mom today, have you?”
The feathers slowly floated down, gravity doing it’s thing once more. No longer ignored by the magic being used against it. Her focus had been interrupted when her aunt spoke to her, regardless a small smile was painted on her features. “Don’t worry about it, Aunt Liv.” She paused for a moment, trying to recall if she had seen her mother at all. “I haven’t, if I see her though, I can let her know you’re looking for her?”
Bloodlust wasn’t easy, it hadn’t been too long since Saltzman twin had been turned into a heretic. In fact, it had only been weeks but she was trying to hide to from as many people as possible which wasn’t easy considering she was in a town full of supernatural creatures. She sighed, instead practicing a simple spell. Floating feathers, it had always been calming and it was one of the first spells she had ended up learning.

♊ — He had a person up against the wall, his hand tightening around their throat. “It’s just one wrong decision after another,” the siphoner mused rather theatrically as the pressure increased. “But who are we kidding? I don’t care to be right.”
Lizzie had come across her uncle enough to know not to get in the way of him doing something, especially something like this. So the young heretic decided to go a different route. “Let me ask you this, are they even worth your time?” She attempted to ask, there was a part of her that felt compassion but then there was the monster within that didn’t really care what happened to the person trapped against the wall.
xavier.
“I honestly don’t know what I should do with my life. I couldn’t make up my mind before graduating high school and still can’t now,” Xavier ranted.
“When the entire city is under an immortality spell, I don’t really think it matters if you can’t decide what to do with your life. I mean, technically speaking, I’m twenty seven and I still have no clue.”
elena.
Elena slammed herself against the wall as she heard the footsteps running back, holding her breath while looking to the opening as she stood there, pressing herself further into the wall until the footsteps were long gone. Exhaling an sharp breath, she closed her eyes for an few seconds while slipping the item into her jacket pocket before feeling an presence before him. An sharp intake of air would be her startling expression to who would be before her then growling softly toward them
“Woah there, what’s the rush?” Lizzie asked plainly, it was obvious that Elena was running from something but she wasn’t sure what. After a minute, she looked towards her and couldn’t help her curiosity, though she was ready to help her if necessary. Taking a step to the side, she crossed her arms over her chest as she stared towards Elena, gently biting down on her lower lip as she tried to calm the woman in front of her.
