IN SEARCH OF DANIEL BRÜHL MOVIES? *UPDATED as of 23/05/24 with The Coming Days, King's Road, Un Poco de Chocolate, and Polizeiruf 110: Der Sohn der Kommissarin*

Uploaded a copy of Colonia onto my Mega account to share with a friend and I figured I might as well host other DB movies there—specifically those that are difficult to find—for others who might be looking for them.

This is inspired by these two incredible resource posts: Useful links for Daniel Brühl fans by @bruehl

These compilations have provided me with several DB movies I'd nearly given up on finding. So in the spirit of paying it forward, I'm here to share some of my own finds.

I tried not to overlap my files with the ones already shared by those two resources, but if they do, it's for those who prefer a lower file size for easy downloading or for those who can't be bothered to figure out how to upload subtitles onto YouTube.

Basically, most of these are shit copies but they come complete with English subtitles. So makes for easy watching but not for making quality GIFs. Also included content warnings for those who need them.... but know that they're based on my memory which is also shite. 1. No Regrets / Nichts Bereuen (2001) - 887MB

MCU Locations: Sokovia

Or how to find a fictional country on a real map.

Sokovia is a hard case to crack. Not only because it doesn't exist in real life, but because even Marvel Studios didn't care where it's located in their fictional universe:

This is the same scene, btw. In Civil War. In the first frame, the country is located in our Northern Italy, on the border with Austria. In the second - in the Czech Republic, on the border with Slovakia. This is the same place that was shown on the map in Age of Ultron:

BUT there is no winner because both are complete BS. Why? Neither has the feature that everyone ignores: a large body of water surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

And it's not a sea, as some have suggested. There is no such coastline anywhere where the country could theoretically be. It's a large lake, and since there aren't many of them around, we can actually pinpoint the location of Sokovia.

First, we will cross out the movie maps completely and for good. There are no large lakes around and no lakes surrounded by such mountains.

Second, we'll have to go to the southeast, to the Balkans. Which is quite logical, because the language of the Sokovians is Serbian, their architecture and cars are the same as in the Balkan countries, and the history of Sokovia resembles some of them.

Some knowledgeable people have pointed out parallels between the description of recent history of Sokovia and some other details and Kosovo, or the Serbian region of Vojvodina. However, geographically they do not match, again because of the lake and the mountains. However, there is a place nearby that does.

Here, on the border of Albania, North Macedonia and Greece, are two huge lakes surrounded by mountain ranges. The place that most resembles the Sokovian landscape is on the right – Lake Prespa and its surroundings in North Macedonia.

Another match - Macedonian language is very similar to Serbian, and the writing looks exactly the same.

So here's the address: Southeastern Europe, North Macedonia, Pelagonia Region, Resen Municipality (area around Lake Prespa).

Part 4 of This Might Be It For Tony (1, 2, 3)

Gif 4: Cut to focus on Adam over Tony's shoulder, still holding Tony's face; he smiles at Tony with deep fondness, and lets his hands slide down to Tony's shoulders. The focus cuts to Tony over Adam's shoulder as Tony shifts on his feet a little, and Adam's hands slide off his shoulders. He licks his lips and looks at a loss for words.

Gif 5: Tony can't decide where to look, moving from Adam's chest to his eyes, down to his lips and to his eyes again. He is clearly flustered, and after a pause says "Thank you." He nods slightly and swallows, finally turning his head to look to the side. He hollows his cheeks and looks at the ceiling as if looking for inspiration on what to say. His words are written on the bottom in white.

Gif 6: Cut to Focus on Adam over Tony's shoulder. He is still smiling fondly, but as Tony starts to speak he makes a 'of course' face and looks to the side slightly, his hands moving to his hips. Tony, after a pause, is still looking to the side but brings his hand to his nose to rub in a considering, nervous tick. He says "The kitchen may be in good hands but, uh..." His words are in white along the bottom.

Gif 7: Cut to focus on Tony over Adam's shoulder as he continues speaking. He tries to look at Adam but can't seem to bring himself to, looks to Helene (out of frame) once before settling on the middle distance he started from. He says "Kaitlin can't handle the front of the house. She's got beautiful legs but, uh..." and pauses while shaking his head to himself. His words are on the bottom in white.

Gif 8: Tony finishes his sentence, turning out a little more towards Helene (out of frame) but not looking at her, and turns back towards Adam while nodding decisively. He tries to look him in the eyes but can't quite manage it, looking quickly away towards the window and licking his lips. On the bottom in white it reads "she's not very useful on the phone."

Gif 9: Focus on Adam over Tony's shoulder as Tony nods to himself and turns to move towards the door. Adam is still smiling fondly, and tracks Tony's movement with his head.

Gif 10: A wide shot, Adam in the background, as Tony walks over to Helene who standing with her arms crossed. He stops to speak to her and she listens attentively. The camera cuts halfway through to just the two of them, Helene nodding when Tony finishes with a small, genuine, smile.
