DIY Diary Calenda
I used those block pages from my notebook and then made these little calendar months. It's so simple but it's so cute. I added little stickers and I honestly just love it.
I just finished my exams btw, best feeling in the world. So I thought I'd just share this with you.
I took the time to decorate my diary page today, it's simplistic but it makes it beautiful. I wish I could have captured the vibrant colors I see in real life. But it's late and my phone is old LOL

Neji Hyuga : What it Means to Love a Man Like Him
Anyone who watches Naruto knows Neji Hyuga. Although not always in the spotlight, our dearest Neji has a loyal following of fans who would argue, "Who cares about Sasuke when there's Neji?"
Yeah... well... about that...
No, it's not because he died. It's what if he did live and what it would mean if he did find a romantic partner he wants to marry.
Many people say, Neji should have ended with Tenten. Either way, whoever he marries would probably think twice before saying yes, including Tenten. And Neji would probably think a thousand times before he asks that question, "Will you marry me?"
I think if he thinks carefully, and I know he would, he would end in this one heart shattering question he must ask himself... "If I truly love her, would I condemn her to a life like this... with me?"
It sounds dramatic but really it's not.
The reality of Neji's quality of life is only slightly touched upon in the Naruto universe. A massive disservice to our beloved Neji who becomes an abandoned "side-quest" of Naruto's, and a forgotten character left to rot in the tragedy of his existence. As a member of the branch family.
I think it's common knowledge now that Neji comes from the branch family of the Hyuga clan. He lives his life to serve the main branch, who leads and must be protected at all cost. Including the lives of those in the branch family.
This devotion isn't freely given. It is instilled upon with a mark on their foreheads... that causes severe pain and if they be willing, death.
Neji lived his whole life with this knowledge; that he is there to serve, under strict rules, and even watched his own father, on the floor, in pain. I don't know about you, but that would be a core memory for me.
That being said, if you love and marry Neji Hyuga, it means you're marrying into oppression. Your husband is owned, and so will you. So will your CHILDREN. Marked at the age of three, unable to ever say no or refuse a request.
"We need someone to take this fall for us."
"I don't want to."
"Bet."
You see what I mean? That can easily happen to Neji and your child. Hell, that happened to Neji's dad.
You will have to live within the walls of the Hyuga clan, and you can not leave. Unless you want to leave without your husband and baby.
We can argue, if Neji wants to marry someone, that person needs to stand strong enough to fight the system and dismantle it from the inside out. Now that would be a great romance fanfiction. Until they decide to pop Neji's head. As a lesson to everyone else who's watching.
A real life example of this, would be Princess Diana and Megan Markle. Regardless of your personal opinion about them, they're also married into a system. Albeit it very different, but these two women fought in their own way for different reasons.
And that could be you. Only this time, you're not a princess... you're just a wife of a Shinobi born into the branch family.
If you marry Neji... you must really, really, love this man.

Kakashi Hatake : A Character too Difficult to Write Fanfiction Romance About
I like to write fanfiction for myself, I don't usually post them anywhere. Most of them I write because I need that specific taste of ending to wash off that bitter taste of an ending I can't accept or feel could have ended differently. One of the characters I've come to deeply admire is the one and only silver haired dare devil Kakashi Hatake.
All Naruto fans know this guy. With one hidden red eye of that iconic sharingan, his tendency to be late, willingness to read porn out in public, tragic past, and insane abilities. Kakashi has become a legend in his own world and heart throb in ours.
When I started, I had to ask myself... why doesn't Kakashi have a proper love interest in Naruto? Outside of that "Kishimoto didn't know how to write romance or wasn't comfortable writing romance"? He's a man, surely he's attracted to SOMEONE. ANYONE!
But what if Kakashi does feel attraction? Does feel love deeply... and that's exactly why he never went for women he found attractive?
Because he couldn't let himself be in that position to begin with.
We all know Kakashi lost people dear to him.
His father... who left him with bad association. It made him hyper fixated in rules. Obito, who died to save Kakashi even when Kakashi trained so hard to be stronger. Then Rin who sacrificed herself so that she wouldn't be used to destroy Konoha, using Kakashi as the tool without his consent to add to that. Minato and his wife, practically a parent figure in his life.
That's a lot of loss for someone so young and already carrying a lot of trauma. Above being a child-soldier in times of war.
Let's face it, the Healthcare in the Naruto universe is amazing. If not, considering what those Shinobi go through would mean a whole lot more deaths. But mental health care practically doesn't exist. You're just expected to carry it and move on, when in reality? Mental health is just as important and physical health. And that's where it all started.
Personally? I think Kakashi has survival guilt. An association between love and loss that borders on irrational at that point. And on top of being a Shinobi who's always on the line day in and day out? He's conscious of the possible reality that he might not come back. That means if he does invest his attention in a woman, build a romantic relationship, he's risking her future. Turning her into a widow.
That being said, romance doesn't happen in one day. It takes time, effort, attention, and financial investment. Kakashi is out on duty, a lot. He can't support a relationship and take his job seriously all at once. That means, Kakashi would need a very specific kind of woman, who...
Wouldn't demand his time (Understanding of his absence)
Secure without him
Doesn't chase him
Mind her own business
Stay even in his silences
Guys... I don't know about you, but that can not be me. That being said, we circle back to the very real trauma this man is carrying. Even if he does meet someone like this, the moment he feels something real? It triggers that trauma, on top of his insane self-discipline, the intensity of his job as a Shinobi, the demands of that world, and the fact that... it's kinda normal not to have a family? Kakashi Hatake, if I want to write a romance true to his character, is almost impossible... because he is deeply, deeply traumatized.

My second week of drawing again, it's my second attempt and today I could not, for the life of me, draw faces. So these two just has to remain faceless forever. The colors are simple but it's better than nothing, I just feel like colors make a simple drawing better.
Jia and Hilga. A wingless fairy and an ordinary nine tailed fox. Looking into a lake that shows one's soul mate.
Hilga placed a hand on Jia's shoulder, looking into the reflectionless water. She had found her soul mate, and so it no longer offered an image for her to see. Unfortunately, they couldn't say the same for Jia, who did not have a soul mate.
"Stop torturing yourself, you're obsessed with this water. Let's just go, I'll make you something nice to eat." Hilga offered, glancing at her friend nervously.
"Let me stay here a little longer. Please..." Jia whispered, her voice so soft the wind could have taken it. And although Hilga hated to leave her friend alone, she understood it must have been difficult.
"Alright, well let me know if anything." She said, tapping her hand before leaving.
Alone, Jia let a tear fall. She had kept it a secret for so long, she felt as if she was all alone in the world.
The truth was she did see someone in the water. Someone she felt could hold her heart and keep it safe. However, that someone would never know who she was, taste the sweetness of her lips, or be in her embrace.
Because he was the enemy of the domain. He was imprisoned. And he would be hanged at sundown.
I haven't drawn anything in so long my hand was stiff but I managed to draw these three ladies. I always like to add a bit of fantasy to it, color always makes it better when I can't draw all that well. So here they are. Struggling still to draw hands, shoes, and still figuring out how to draw fabric, and basic anatomy.
