!!!!!!STEVEN AND GREG DESIGN SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!! !!!!!DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE MOVIE YET!!!!!

In all honesty, I love Steven and Greg’s fusion! Many people seem to be confused as to why the Crewniverse made Mr. Multiverse (what I like to call Steg) look the way he does. I’m here to help explain that a little!

Let’s look back at Shirt Club (episode 47). Look at how Steven drew Greg. It’s obvious that he really looks up to his dad and thinks of him as his hero (hence why he is beefy).

In Steven and The Stevens (episode 22), Steven imagines the handsome one of a band having a pompadour. This makes sense for Mr. Multiverse to have the magnificent Josuke pompadour in the movie.

Plus, this is a middle-aged dad and his teenage son, why wouldn’t they think being an 80’s rock star in their prime be the coolest? I know I would think it would be badass.

All in all, Mr. Multiverse is cool and I hope we get to see more of him in season 6! Greg seemed to have done it before as he did it so easily, so maybe we will get a bit of background on how that happened.
